I would not hesitate to get in, set the controls for about 1965 and I'd be gone in a flash...one way and never to return. Everything was so simple and honest then, the music and the cars were fantastic...it was literally the 'Golden Age' to be an 18 or 20 year old. I actually feel sorry for the kids growing up today...they really have no idea what they missed. Thank you for your post. ~ Peace ~

So happy Ronnie found a wonderful husband, and had a good life with ,and her kids.

When I was in high school, I was usually "glued" to my radio and remember loving this record so much. At that time, I had a pipe dream to perform as a recording artist (electric piano). Like in some Hollywood story, less than a year later, my band, The Stratfords, actually did record in the very studio that Phil Spector's groups used. That was a thrill for me. I am now 77 and remember that night so well, a sweet memory.

The romance was a thing to behold. The music at least gave the impression of a gentleman offering his love to his lady!! Not like today!!! I love "the love and respect" these groups gave to the songs they sang for a generation.

People dropped their relationship with their Creator, and lost their 'moral compass', appreciation, love, etc. I mean...you don't have to be religious to plainly see, these women were obviously created by a very loving God. Ronnie was on Letterman with Eddie Money when she was older. She still had her figure and a pendulum in her hips!!!
