SvenTviking I understand your fears but the science behind the climatechange is very often muddled with politics as well as not very accurate. We also have to consider the cost to more poverty stricken areas of The west and especially poor countries. If we suddenly stopped using oil, the cost of other means of energy are much higher. I forget where I learned it but there was a study that showed that feeding starving areas and.raising them further out of poverty allows the people within them to be more concerned with the environment. It makes sense, why tf would you care about climate change if you’re starving? That’s a luxury we have. So if your goal is to help with the climate you should support the poverty stricken everywhere.

He's 100% right. I've been saying there's too many people before I even heard Bill Burr. When he said it, as if he already wasn't hilarious enough, went straight to my favorite comedian of all time.
We haven't reached peak yet, birth rate is already falling, 9 or 10 billion people is inevitable, u can't drastically lower birth rate. Once population reaches peak, it will start decreasing

Not really. The cdc says only 6% of reported corona deaths are definitively from corona. The rest had co-morbidities, like kidney disease and such, and were only listed as from corona because the CARES act pays hospitals for every "listed" corona death.

I saw him last year in Tucson doing the cruise ship bit. The part he left out was that he was the one sinking them.
He's out in ocean in the distance and you can hear the techno music coming from the ships club. He starts mimicking the dance music beat as he gets behind a minigun.
Not many people can talk about committing mass murder and make it as hilarious as him.

Well, you know, treat it like being on a roller coaster. I mean, once that sucker starts going down the track, it's too late to get off anyway. If it goes off the tracks it goes off the tracks, it's out of your control, so just enjoy the ride.
The ice caps are going to melt. Weather patterns are going to shift. The earth will probably have a harder time sustaining all the people on it. Oh well, we're on that track now, we committed to it long before we realized what we were truly getting into, and if we all die, then we all die. Just enjoy the ride.
but yeah no matter what we do, we already killed off over 50% of the world's animal species, and a good amount more are expected to go extinct in the next 50 years too.
hmmm let me clarify, i'm solely referring to the animal species that have been around since when the industrial revolution started(around 1850) So i'm not including all the previous animals/lifeforms that existed before the earth's 5 extinction events.

it's ok, everyone reading your comment will die long before it starts affecting us on a daily basis. When our grandkids are seniors they may start to see the beginnings of it but not now. This is also the same reason why oil execs don't care what they're doing to the planet. They know they'll die wealthy and they won't have to deal with mother nature gone wrong years down the road so they have no desire to change their destructive ways.

I understand the chances of this is near 0 but hear me out, can't we pass a law to create a Maximum wage for politicians and other government officials, that way if they have more money than they're supposed to then they can go under investigation to see if they are conducting corrupt deals. I don't think politicians should be millionaires, that makes no sense at all.
