BiogreXT i didnt have a memory card for my ps2 back in the day so every time i played i had to start at the beginning and see how far i could make it, always getting stopped at that level. I dont think i ever beat the game
"He looks like the mascot of a platformer that never was" Actually, you are 100% correct. At one point they were making his game, but it was never completed.
This game was one of the most fun things to play when I was little but it was way too complicated for me, I could never get past the 3rd level and to top it off I never knew how to load my saved game so every time I'd start from the beginning 🤣 I just love this because of the nostalgia
This one is going to be very interesting at least for me because I don't remember almost anything about this game except loving it when I was a kid, which is not saying much because back then I enjoyed almost every game I played.
I loved this game as a kid. I remember always getting stuck on those levels where you had a time limit to disarm bombs around the level. I also remember the phrase: CANNONBALL!!!
Canis lunis part 2 is almost impossible to beat. You have to follow a robot werewolf that runs fast as shit and closes doors on you trapping you in a room with like 20+ robots and a single health pack
The little earth worm jim robot was waiting for you outside the barn where the last part was, the arrow even pointed back toward him. That really reminded me of how hard it is to play a game pay attention to the screen and be entertaining at the same time
What a weird coincidence. I watched Toy Story again for the first time since I was a kid and remembered that I always played a Toy Story game back then. I searched for ages until I found the right one and just a few hours later this video pops up of the exact same game.
“He looks like the mascot of a platformer that never was.” Funnily enough as a kid I always wanted to have a game starring the Traveler's Tales mascot. He, or she, looks like they have an interesting tale to tell… no pun intended 😜
I remember getting this game as a child, thinking: "Awesome, its be *exactly* like the Toy Story 2 game!!!" ...I couldn't get passed the first level, and then immediately decided to replay Toy Story 2.
The fact that you're Patrick Warburton already disqualifies it from being the worst game ever. Also, they left out that he is Brock Samson in Venture Bros.
@@usamazahid3882 I agree. As bad as this game is, you can't hate Wayne Knight as Emporor Zurg, and you DEFINITELY can't hate Patrick Warburton as Buzz Lightyear, Of Star Command. One of my personal favorite roles of his was as Brock Sampson from the Venture Bros., as the Venture family's personal bodyguard, but for some reason, he leaves them, and joins with The Monoarch. He was also in Men in Black 2, for a short part of the movie. He was the crying guy Agent Jay got teamed up with in the beginning of that movie. It's pretty much impossible to hate Patrick Warburton. Seriously. The guy's just such a great actor, and from what I hear, a really nice person. Obviously, he's an awesome person. Even if Family Guy isn't as good as it used to be, Patrick Warburton playing Joe is at least still a good thing. Because he's still getting work. And I couldn't honestly think of a better actor to play Buzz in the series this game was based off of, so I'm glad he was Buzz Lightyear. I also loved the cartoon this game's based on, but it's been a long time since I've seen it, so I don't remember much about it, other than it was good, and Patrick Warburton does an amazing job as Buzz, in both the game and the show, even if the game looks like crap, at least he tries. As does the rest of the cast from the show. But it also makes me wish we'd gotten a good Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command game...
My brother bought this for his bday for our dreamcast and I really grew fond of this title over the years because of its fast gameplay and tons upon tons of extras and awards to win, seeing the ps1 draw distance is quite shocking as I expected the lesser graphics but didn't think about that happening due to the gel shading style. Overall the dreamcast version is the best and literally little to no load times along with nice cartoon like graphics at a fast pace.
This is one of the first games I ever beat as a kid. Boy was it hard. The way PS1 games played added a level of difficulty people today won’t understand. The controls were just so bad and camera movement was somehow worse. And yet this was one of my most beloved games of all times. I wound up buying another copy from eBay a few years back to play it again and it was so much worse than I had remembered.
Interestingly enough, it looks as if the Buzz character controller is utilizing the same one used for the Toy Story 2 Action Game. Game companies have to find some way to save money... Come to think of it, even the level selection screen was taken from Toy Story 2 Action Game. Interesting...
As was his Patrick Warburton impression too. It was so good in fact, that you could swear that Patrick Warburton was ACTUALLY there, WITH the TripleJump crew, playing the game with them or something. Man, that would be cool...
My parents got me this as a gift when I got my ps one back in like 2001 or so after they saw me looking at a poster of it at a game store. Absolutely loved this game even though it frustrated me when I got stuck in places.
I used to play this on PC when I was little. I didn't have a regular controller so I was stuck using a SideWinder 3D Pro joystick, and against all odds the game is indeed beatable that way.
I've never actually seen anything to do with this game. So as someone who's only ever seen the films, the look of buz and all the other characters has terrified me 😳😂 this is not ok.
If you guys think the PS1 version is bad, (which I actually like by the way) you should really play the Gameboy color version.... if you can even find a copy that even works, as the game is so old, I found 2 copies that didn’t work in a row.
Played this game when I was a kid. I enjoyed it, probably because I was young. I agree, and even thought back then, that beating the bad guy to the end was silly. Definitely worse than most. This brings the games featured in this series that I’ve played to 3- this, Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase and Legend of Spyro Eternal Night. It might be 4 as my brother had Shrek Treasure Hunt as a kid, but I honestly can’t remember if I ever played it.
id love to watch you 2 play some best games ever so we could see your reactions to some classics youve missed, super metroid for example (guessing you havnt played that) :-)
I'm back. Apparently I am a wizard because I wrote my first comments as a joke and we literally just got done having ..fun. My cereal is soggy as hell.
Probably one of the earliest gaming disappointments in my life. I loved the Buzz Lightyear movie and cartoon, and as naturally as a kid you believe a game based on a series you like must be good! It wasn't... It wasn't good... Not only that, it was hard, at least for a child.
Isn't that always the case with most shows? The shows are decent, but their games are lazy, half-assed cash ins for the most part? I loved this show growing up. What kid wouldn't love Toy Story? And then around the time Toy Story 2 was coming out, we get Buzz on his own spinoff cartoon, where he saves people, has his own team, and captures criminals, and, you had Patrick Warburton as Buzz Lightyear, who arguably does a better job at voicing Buzz than even Tim Allen. And the show was great, and ran for a long time. Too bad the game couldn't match the show's quality. Even with Patrick Warburton reprising his role as Buzz, I'm still... unimpressed.
I remember loving this game as a small child. I also remember never getting past the first level
Canis Lunis part 2 is ridiculous, its almost impossible
Damn, I can relate to that
So did i, this was one of the games i played on PS1 when i was a child! I never got past the first level either!
@@JuicyJenitals I've struggled on that level before I've somehow figured it out! Still, its my favorite!
BiogreXT i didnt have a memory card for my ps2 back in the day so every time i played i had to start at the beginning and see how far i could make it, always getting stopped at that level. I dont think i ever beat the game
I loved this game as a child. I'm so triggered.
"He looks like the mascot of a platformer that never was" Actually, you are 100% correct. At one point they were making his game, but it was never completed.

Same
Fun fact Mira’s voice actress Nicole Sullivan also voices Sheego in Kim Possible
I remember enjoying this as a rental waaay back. I never got past the Wire Wolf level though.
Same bro. That fucker was way too damn fast while trying to defuse the bombs.
A Ben swear! Where are Lord Brotovic & Sessal Prumps when you need them?? 😂
This is one of them for me that I absolutely ADORED as a kid. My God. We've come so far.
/get all robot parts/
“Do we just let the timer run out?”
/literally walk by the robot as they’re saying that/
Never change boys 😁😁😁😁😁
this was a good one the noises and the random things happening like buzz suddenly changing to a sweater and underpants plus the editing lmao
The little earth worm jim robot was waiting for you outside the barn where the last part was, the arrow even pointed back toward him. That really reminded me of how hard it is to play a game pay attention to the screen and be entertaining at the same time
I used to play this on my OLD windows 98 desktop in legit 10fps and didn’t even use the mouse.
I'm so glad you guys played my favourite childhood game!
What a weird coincidence. I watched Toy Story again for the first time since I was a kid and remembered that I always played a Toy Story game back then. I searched for ages until I found the right one and just a few hours later this video pops up of the exact same game.

12:50 Mark Flamar, nicely done Peter!
Hahahahaha I sent this in as an unintentional Worst Games Ever. I loved this game as a kid. This is going to be a fun episode
I remember getting this game as a child, thinking: "Awesome, its be *exactly* like the Toy Story 2 game!!!"

"Wasn't he a member of Blue?" made me spit my drink out.
As soon as the music started I immediately thought of Jinx! Thank you for also making the connection

I remember this being my favorite game growing up
Did Adam Corolla do a voice in this game?
"Hyper sleep" (can't remember the rest of what he said)
Was my first question, must be him?
This is one of the first games I ever beat as a kid. Boy was it hard. The way PS1 games played added a level of difficulty people today won’t understand. I think this was based on the Disney cartoon i use to watch as a kid.
It is
19:47 Ben did a swear 😂
This series is better than anything on Netflix
Woah now. I just watched Eurovision and it was awesome!
That's like saying you're the thinnest kid at a fat camp lol Netflix sucks
21:00 THIS LEVEL HAS LIVED RENT FREE IN MY HEAD FOR YEARS, OH GOD MAKE IT STOP.
You guys are like British Game Grumps and I love it
That "not lunch, LAUNCH" is a joke from a '50s sitcom...
The Mera DeviantArt was a bit much for me
Interestingly enough, it looks as if the Buzz character controller is utilizing the same one used for the Toy Story 2 Action Game. Game companies have to find some way to save money...
Come to think of it, even the level selection screen was taken from Toy Story 2 Action Game. Interesting...
That Mark Lamarr reference 😂
And now there's a film about the "real life inspiration" behind Buzz Lightyear
.... oh yeah this show, with Joe Swanson as Buzz Lightyear
Karen has an E in it peter lol that's not Karen!
Every time I see that Pac-Man in the beginning I can’t help but think of Ricky from trailer park boys
Ben's Walken impression was impressive.
As was his Patrick Warburton impression too. It was so good in fact, that you could swear that Patrick Warburton was ACTUALLY there, WITH the TripleJump crew, playing the game with them or something. Man, that would be cool...
I love that your both calling this game stupid and it outsmarted both of you
I fucking loved this game as a kid. Looking at it now, without rose colored glasses? Holy fuck this is awful.
Was just thinking of this spin off movie the other day and then this pops up. You read my mind. Cant wait to watch
My parents got me this as a gift when I got my ps one back in like 2001 or so after they saw me looking at a poster of it at a game store. Absolutely loved this game even though it frustrated me when I got stuck in places.
This is one of my favorites of all time! Still complete it to this day!
Same, it's really fun in a nostalgic sort of way.
Support TripleJump! Join the Walrus Clan!
19:33 hahhah you missed him
For some reason, I misremembered that this was a rail shooter where he actually did use the wings and laser like what he had in the movies and cartoon
One of the few PC games our janky windows computer could handle to the endgame. Fun memories
Christopher Walking - Ouch xD
I assume Buzz looks like Joe Swanson from Family Guy outside his suit.
As someone who loved this game as a child, and decided to replay it after seeing this vid...I was a dumb child.
I used to play this on PC when I was little. I didn't have a regular controller so I was stuck using a SideWinder 3D Pro joystick, and against all odds the game is indeed beatable that way.
This was the first console game i ever played. I remember being on unsatisfied with the ending.
I've never actually seen anything to do with this game. So as someone who's only ever seen the films, the look of buz and all the other characters has terrified me 😳😂 this is not ok.
Does Patrick Warburton also make the nice breads you get in the shops?
If you guys think the PS1 version is bad, (which I actually like by the way) you should really play the Gameboy color version.... if you can even find a copy that even works, as the game is so old, I found 2 copies that didn’t work in a row.

This game is the best.
I dunno, I reckon I'd play "Toy Story: Eugenics Wars" :P
9:53 Try saying that three times fast XD
4:57 is that Adam Carolla?
My friend owned a dreamcast. This is still the only game i ever played on that console.
Patrick Warburtton is a good actor alright
Is it me or does Nebula sound like Rick Sanchez XD
does anybody remember the movie?
Movie was great! Show was great too although it ended abruptly
GB great movie
Bought that game on tha PS1 & Finally beaten it in 2019. Had on the Dreamcast as a kid but never beaten it
id love to watch you 2 play some best games ever so we could see your reactions to some classics youve missed, super metroid for example (guessing you havnt played that) :-)
That hard F felt so deserved.
You know how wrong "games master" and "games victim" sound if you think about it a certain way
Master/servant are more sexual.
"The big fat red one!"
"Dont call him that thats racist!"
"Yeah, just call him the red one"
L O L
I loved this game as a kid but I don’t think I ever made it past the alien woman
That was my favorite game as a kid you haven't played the hardest level with Canis lunis and the wirewolf .
I love this!
Toy Story Racer is underrated
8:40 he sounded a bit like Adam West xD
What's that song Ben hums with the menu noise?
wow...youtube premium suggestions don't even get the Movie right, that's hilarious
I'm back. Apparently I am a wizard because I wrote my first comments as a joke and we literally just got done having ..fun.
My cereal is soggy as hell.
Dear god the shapes
F bomb at 19:49 ish 👍🏻
I used to own the film based on the animated series, never played this game.
The movie was quite entertaining years ago. :')
Flamar was the singer from kajagoogoo
Oh my god, I remember playing this when I was a kid...
I actually like the show... even though I am an adult, and never seen it before until recently. I just love Emperor Zurg.
Oh shit I'm pretty sure I played the gameboy version pretty heavily as a kid
Starring Ben Potter as Chris Walken...
Dang imagine playing this after toy story 2 on n64.
The swear 🤬😂
Did we witness a low key Disney murder at 3:14 ???
I love Patrick Warburton he’s so lovely on Instagram and Twitter.
I still love playing this game
The cartoon was pretty okay btw.
Probably one of the earliest gaming disappointments in my life. I loved the Buzz Lightyear movie and cartoon, and as naturally as a kid you believe a game based on a series you like must be good! It wasn't... It wasn't good... Not only that, it was hard, at least for a child.
Mark lamar made me laugh more than it should
My childhood is raging right now, but my right minded brain (debatable) is agreeing with you 100%
i’m interested to see this episode because besides the graphics being REALLY BAD, i think this was a really fun game!
Played the heck out of the game as a child
And I loved it
Wonder why the word colour in Game Boy Colour is spelled the American way?
The show was of decent quality, the game wasn’t
Isn't that always the case with most shows? The shows are decent, but their games are lazy, half-assed cash ins for the most part? I loved this show growing up. What kid wouldn't love Toy Story?
