You know not even gonna lie this game does have some flaws like one time on the elevator stage I was already really high up by the mouse you gotta help and when I tried to climb higher it glitched and made me fall all the way back down BUT the game is so good that yeah I don’t really care it’s a very rare thing and the game altogether is a great product
for sure. given the fact this game was made in the ps1 era... and the fact that most movie tie in games have never really been made with any passion and they are primarily pushed out on name value alone, this is a good puzzle platformer with some good action. I was very happy when they bought it out as in the classic catalogue on the ps4/ps5. bought back many memories as a kid and even to this day, despite the camera not being great and of course it being about 20 years old- it still holds up well for what it is.
11:30 Tom actually asked Disney to hire his brother since he was having a hard time getting acting jobs and Tom would have been too busy. Since then, voicing Woody has been his full time job due to the amount of products made
I kid you not, you talking about not having a memory card and replaying the first level over and over was my childhood. I had this game on N64, and I had Super Mario 64. I had no concept of memory cards and could never save my game on Toy Story 2. I made it to the beginning of the second level with the lawn mower going around and that was as far as I ever got, lol. But I replayed that beginning level so many times. I was pretty young and I remember thinking the game was crazy hard.
Pretty sure this was the first game I ever played when I was little, I used to play this all the time at my grandma's house ❤so much nostalgia RIP grandma
This brings me back in such a nice way. I love your channel for that reason. Most of my childhood was really dark and just not good. But these video games helps me revisit some of the good memories I had when I was young which are usually overlooked by the trauma.
The original Ape Escape for PS1 (the funny british acting in the PAL version specifically) brings back fond childhood memories, its a great game thats not too long if you guys are looking for more ps1 gems :)
Man, I love this game so much. Perhaps, it's the game that I have re-played the most. I've played this on the PC recently and this has been for the third time. I've also played the PS1 version like 4 times. Toy Story 2, is also one of the movies that I have re-watched the most. I may be crazy but I can't and never get bored of playing this masterpiece and watching the movie itself. Instead of being a game with linear level design, you're almost free to explore. This game made me choose Buzz Lightyear as my favorite Toy Story character.
About time you guys played this game. Also, we’d love more PS1 games. I remember you guys played the PS2 version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone from 2003, and not the original PS1 or PC versions.
In a way, Nintendo's Chibi Robo for the GameCube, an underated gem imo. Was a game were you are pretty much the size of a toy exploring a large house. At nights the toys of the house come alive too.

@SquidwardLenin It means that a Higher Power presides over us and watches our every movement and sets up little cues like this to let us know that it watches over us, as if we were characters being played in a video game. Stuff like that it not just mere coincidence, but actually a hidden message that it knows and observes.
You should definitely play the Army Men Series... was an iconic series for me as a kid. I say play Sarges Heroes... great game haha if you like nostalgia.
There was a game on the Dreamcast called Toy Commander where you drove a selection of toys around a house completing missions. It was fantastic, and had a great sense of scale.
re: Tom Hanks brother At the time of the first movie, his brother was out of work and looking for a job. So as part of his contract with Pixar, his brother would take on any non-film roles (including promotional material, TV shows, games, toys, etc) in his place. Stopping right before the Alleys and Gullies level with the most banging music in the game is criminal but thank you for the nostalgia blast anyway! Digimon World 1 for the PS1 would be a great shout for another PS1 video imo
This is the most calmed Mind pulp video that I've watched. Thanks for your videos guys, I'm not in a good moment right now but your channel keeps me here.
I used to play this game with my nephew when we were young, but this game was like a from software game nowadays for us back then. So when we couldn’t get past the boss in every other level my mom would always finish the level for us… good times😊

I used to play this on the old family computer because I had (and still have) the game on disc, I played it all the time but never got past the first level.

I heard in the new Toy Story movie, the toys pay a visit to Sid, just as he's about to be released from the mental health facility, having spent 30 years there. Finally cleared, having accepted that the toys aren't alive, he loses his mind once again as soon as he sees the living toys.
Hey Mind Pulp, I think you guys should check out the video game for Surf’s Up! It’s a great movie and I just learned that they made a game of it for the PS2, PS3, XBOX, Wii, etc. I just personally really enjoy watching your videos and I want to help you find more content for your videos in the future.
I love how this game has little to no flaws, that they have to resort to some interesting facts about random stuff to fill in the commentary.
It's a great game tbf. And a genuine staple of childhoods for anyone born in the 90s

I just watched Toy Story 2 today out of nostalgia, is the internet watching me? Lol. Very glad you guys decided to play this game!
