I love whenever they make stuff based on the in universe products of Toy Story! Whether it is the Buzz Lightyear cartoon, or that animated intro for the Battlesaurs.. I love it!!!
Omg how have I only just found this upload? Haha! We sucked at this game didn't we? But the film has some of my best child hood memories...that's jim cracking dandy. I'll never put a battery in backwards ever again!
The actual TV show had Patrick Warburn voicing Buzz instead of Tim Allen, so... intergalactic Kronk. (Yes at 17:20 we got a taste of the Patrick Warburn voice!) and thank goodness they made a video game of it the 1st 2:30 was scary... "No, not another "Video Game Reviewer Type Person" dipping their feet into the realm of movies" However not that I've watched the whole thing I can say a solid and entertaining video I enjoyed it!
Man, I loved this movie so much as a kid and I've been meaning to watch it again for ages because I current copy is old as buggery... Hang on did Zurg just ask for the planet of widows and orphans to be destroyed. Holy crap, I'm definitely leaving this review for later.
I remember renting this game as a kid, along with Emperor's New Groove and Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (Basically any show or movie I saw, I wanted to rent the game of it)
I remember this game. My friend had it on the PC, I played it one time over at his house, he got angry with me because I couldn't get past level 2, a fair enough criticism until you realise that he couldn't get past level 3... though by the sounds of it, getting beyond level 3 wouldn't really have been worth the effort anyway.
Before I click play, I just want to say that I have been waiting for someone, ANYONE to mention this game in a formal review capacity. Every time I mention this game on the internet, I'm met with silence. This is probably the best game of my childhood, I love it that much and still play it today. Basically what I'm saying is, THANK YOU for being the one to look at this and I'm ready to finally receive (and respect) and outside opinion of this game. Thank you, for indeed, YOU have got de juice.
Just watched to the end. I agree with certain points of the review, and respect your opinion. I guess it's not for everyone, but it is MY kinda game so, eh. Thanks for the outside perspective, and now thanks to you.....I might have to watch the movie.
Two things I loved: 1) Buzz Lightyear of Star Command! I loved the pilot movie SO MUCH! :D Maybe I'll still give the cartoon a try even though you didn't like it. 2) Caddy played the same role for Rosie that she's played for his channel so many times and I LOVE IT SO FREAKIN' MUCH!!!! Also, the humor is still pretty on point. Kudos to you!
I really loved this game I was a kid and I still play it today constantly. I love the look of PS1 graphics and most of the music is somewhat epic. You're really cute btw.
Man, we had Buzz Light year of Star Command on VHS and I remember watching the TV show of it tons too. I remember playing the game a ton but I never owned it, I think a friend owned it. The same with Toy Story Racer and Toy Story 2.
Oh, wow! Someone else finally got around to reviewing this game, too? Well, I did it a couple months before you. HA! I should point out though that the reason that sometimes shooting the bad guy in their getaway spot makes that "BBBBBBBBBBBBB" noise is because of the weapon you were using. They're all color-coded, as are the bad guys' shields. Notice the pulsating circle behind the weapon icon in your HUD and make sure you're using a weapon of one particular color on a shield that matches that same color and you won't have that problem. Now, if only the game would actually allow blue shields in levels with the blue rocket-launcher. I NEEDED THAT!
I just found out that Caddicarus' sister has a RUclips channel and to that I say two things: 1. HOLY SHIET A FEMALE GAME REVIEWER?! POP THE CHAMPAGNE LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! 2. Greetings and salutations my juicy people and welcome to the Professor Juice show where I have to do the juicy deed of deciding whether a not a game has the juice or doesn't have the juice.
I felt like your previous vids were missing SOMETHING, but I just couldn't figure it out. turns it was definitely those orange glasses! without those you're like woody without his cowboy hat! XD
I've seen the movie enough times where I can quote at least 85% of the script, and I still have the game. As a kid, the farthest I got was stage 3 or 4, but one lazy weekend day back in my high school years, I finally beat it
Good grief I can remember playing this as a kid. I got the mission where the doors close and you had to kill all the enemies but I could never do it! I'm pretty sure I got so mad I broke my controller playing it... Oh well.
the music wasn't the most fitting but it was hella good, flamar 2 and tradeworld 2 being prime examples. The final boss in the PC and Dreamcast version has the platform's health reduced by half and introduces a second phase like any other boss, and it's much harder than the ps1 version, and health does really become an issue so you have to get those health packs Glad they do respawn
My design for the game: I would have designed it like a collectathon like Donkey Kong 64 + a Shoot em Up like Star Fox 64. The 4 Heroes should have also their one unique ability. And their should have also Sections, where the Lightyearteam fight against Darkmatter Team (Warp, Gravitina, Torque and XL)
Wait, there's a planet of widows and orphans? How the ever-loving frig did that happen? Like…why can't the widows adopt the orphans? Seems like that would fix a lot. XD
I haven't seen the movie buzz lightyear of star command: the adventure begins at all! I didn't even know it was a movie!! and I wasn't born in 2000! I was bron in later years after this came out! I miss a good animated movie... :'3
1:36 :D _I did! I saw the film! I even watched a bit of the TV show when I was a wee lad!_ 17:43 :O _Holy smokes! Patrick Warburton played Buzz for the show! I never noticed that!_
This brings back memories. I had the PC version of this and the controls were just as loose. Also, is that Joe from Family Guy and Kronk from Emperor's New Groove voicing Buzz?
Rosie, nice up as always. Have you played Disneys extreme skate adventure on ps2 or toy story 3 on PS3? Both are well worth a look. extreme skate uses tony hawks 4 game engine and is rather good and toybox mode in the toy story games fantastic. Maybe even worth a review? Both games seem forgotten by gamers and drastically need a revisit.
What about the wearwolf robot level?! That is or was one if the hardest levels ever. If i go back today and play it it'll probably be much easier but back in the day that was difficult. Good childhood memories. The game obviously looks dated nowadays. The tv show and movie is awesome
Does anyone else notice that Rosie's like the only person who calls Caddy "James"?
Well he is her brother, he's not Caddy to her, he's James
Rosie and Ian are the only two people who call Caddy just James. Some of the others switch between the two names
It'd make sense that she'd call Caddy by his actual name; they _are_ siblings, after all...
Kami Lee
As does his girlfriend
I switch between the two to...
Buzz Lightbeer of Bar command
bud lightbeer
Bored Video Gamer buzz lightlygear
The ghost of Sammy classic Sonic fan Booze Lightbeer
Boonze lightnqueer
Bud Litebeer of Bar Cumand
Actually "Toy Story Racer" copied the music from this game.
"Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" (September 26, 2000)
"Toy Story Racer" (March 5, 2001)
Thank you!
I love whenever they make stuff based on the in universe products of Toy Story! Whether it is the Buzz Lightyear cartoon, or that animated intro for the Battlesaurs.. I love it!!!
I have this movie on VHS and i love this when I was little and it's still my favorite
You always review the most beloved games from my childhood! Always hits me right in the nostalgia places
Omg how have I only just found this upload? Haha! We sucked at this game didn't we? But the film has some of my best child hood memories...that's jim cracking dandy. I'll never put a battery in backwards ever again!
Great to see another video from you, Rosie! :D Your lip-syncing moments were by far the funniest. You're really expressive!
The intro was so adorable 💕
Great video, Rosie! Keep it up :D
Not surprising the pilot is better than the show, as companies usually put the biggest effort into that.
So... Buzz is part of a team called “Space Rangers”...
So... what I’m trying to say... that they’re... Rangers...
...IN SPACE!!
A Power Rangers In Space reference, I guess?
LOLMAN 9538 maybe
“This is based off the real buzz lightyear” **laughs in Pixar’s lightyear movie**
The actual TV show had Patrick Warburn voicing Buzz instead of Tim Allen, so... intergalactic Kronk. (Yes at 17:20 we got a taste of the Patrick Warburn voice!)

Holy crap, I'm definitely leaving this review for later.
I was so glad to see the notification for this video, Rosie. Your videos always make me happy when I'm sad :D
I remember renting this game as a kid, along with Emperor's New Groove and Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (Basically any show or movie I saw, I wanted to rent the game of it)
I remember this game. She did a good mouthing the lines, it looked almost as if SHE was saying the lines from the show.
Before I click play, I just want to say that I have been waiting for someone, ANYONE to mention this game in a formal review capacity. this was my first videogame. (played on a ps2)
You're awesome, keep up the good work :)

The cartoon was amazing. And it seems even better after the new Lightyear film showed how not to do it
I noticed you used the running sound from Mr Maker. I watched the hell out of that show as a kid.
Caddy’s sister!? Hi!!! I was watching some videos and this was the next video in the suggestions! I’m subbed just because!
A lotta stuff from this video lives in my head rent-free.
Proves how good this video is. Good and meme-heavy.
Oh, wow! Someone else finally got around to reviewing this game, too? Well, I did it a couple months before you. HA!

I actually had a dvd of the buzz lightyear cartoon, but it's lost at my grandparents house by now
You really deserve more views these videos are really good.
I have a big Buzz like that, are you sure you didn't steal mine?
did you draw that?
MrNeku12 Here we go again...
Nana-Kyoto was is dis, a fight?, im a horny girl pls
MrNeku12 Almost everybody just has to make a comment on that channel icon of mine.
Nana-Kyoto why do you have that image on the first place then?
i get classic caddy feels from your videos rosie you picked up your brothers legacy and made something really cool from im i cant wait to see more
When you're just looking at random Buzz videos and come across Rosie and Caddicarus on a channel you didn't originally know existed. Small world lmao.
My cat being called Buzz changes the entire meaning of the opening of this video
I remember getting the VHS and the game for free because I won a competition in a Disney magazine. Good times man...good times...
I remember loving the cartoon growing up, damn those memories.
"You are a sad strange little man, and you have my pity. Farewell."
"Yeah well, good riddance you loony"
XD
I felt like your previous vids were missing SOMETHING, but I just couldn't figure it out. turns it was definitely those orange glasses! without those you're like woody without his cowboy hat! XD
Woo! Was so happy to see this in my subscription feed! ^_^
WHOA. Whoa whoa whoa. Are those orange slice glasses? Glasses through which you see the juice? :O I NEED DEM.
I used to play this game obsessively cuz I loved the cartoon it was based off of.
I've seen the movie enough times where I can quote at least 85% of the script, and I still have the game. As a kid, the farthest I got was stage 3 or 4, but one lazy weekend day back in my high school years, I finally beat it
That movie was so good. It probably still holds up.
ROFL! Best review on this game bar none! Summed up my nostalgic love/hate relationship with this game to a T. Cheers
I loved this film when I was a kid aswell but I lost my VHS copy at some point, I also played the game but never got past the 3rd stage.
Also, the cartoon for Buzz Lightyear was great, I wish it had more seasons.
Oh wow, The voice actor of Zurg is the same voice actor for Mr. Blik from Catscratch. Well, I love Zurg even more now.
4:29 XD
0:17 top ten anime battles
All I remember about the pilot movie was that it existed. I can't even remember the plot, even after reading about it on TV Tropes.
Good grief I can remember playing this as a kid. I got the mission where the doors close and you had to kill all the enemies but I could never do it! I'm pretty sure I got so mad I broke my controller playing it... Oh well.
Legit you and your brother are my favorite RUclipsrs
I had that on VHS and use to watch the TV show a little bit :3
I didn't even notice the arrow until you pointed it out.
oh, I had this game when I was a kid!
I never could finish the second level though.
I forgot how bad this game was lol
the music wasn't the most fitting but it was hella good, flamar 2 and tradeworld 2 being prime examples.
The final boss in the PC and Dreamcast version has the platform's health reduced by half and introduces a second phase like any other boss, and it's much harder than the ps1 version, and health does really become an issue so you have to get those health packs
Glad they do respawn
acedentaly clicked on this chanal best acedental click ever
starcat 132 agreed

I loved this cartoon as a kid!
I played the sh*t out of that game as a kid, but I never even got to Zurg.
I only realized there was a TV Show years after giving up in frustration.
I didn't play this game......but OH MY GOD THAT MOVIE! :D
Can't believe Buzz is Brock from the Venture Bros. Jk Buzz looks like the usual characters that his VA voices.
I actually like this game, it's not so bad and has cool soundtrack and villains. And it was my very first ps1's game
I watched Buzz Lightyear of Star Command when I was a kid.
I remember this game....Fond memories.
Oh my god that's Catherine music.
Rosie.
You are best girl.
What, caddy sister has her own review channel???? Why didn't someone tell me that sooner, SUBSCRIBED
I haven't seen that movie since I was very young. I remember enjoying it deeply.
Wait a minute, Buzz was voiced by Joe Swanson!?
Man, I had this game on Gameboy color, incredibly hard, but one of my favorite ^^.
When she is re-enacting the cutscenes buzz sounds exactly like joe from family guy
I still have the video casette case back at my parent's house
zurg oh my he was just great in the film and in the TV show
Both siblings seem to have issues with evil, animate toys.
I remember the movie for this way back, and I'm kinda curious to see how well it holds up.
Ok but... Caddy's sister is so adorable
I wish I had know of this RUclipsr she the best very funny. You have a faithful Sub. Keep up the aswome work aswome reviews
Patrick Warburton, who does the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the show, is actually my favorite voice actor. Apparently I like cheesy voice acting.
I remember loving this game as a child :3 Looking at it again now... yikes.
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins is a brilliant film XD Zurg makes me laugh so much aha. Also the tv series is bloody awesome ;)
this was one of my favourite films
Wow, another game from my childhood
Electrofighter64 Dio...
Wait, there's a planet of widows and orphans? How the ever-loving frig did that happen? Like…why can't the widows adopt the orphans? Seems like that would fix a lot. XD
When i was a child i've always trying to run backwards lol.
I think their's a secret second player that is in every copy in the zerg battle that spams the button and dosen't think he should use a strategy
Zurg's hornet robots were just as ineffectual in the cartoons.
Sins of the Father. I feel like I'm watching Pyrocynical.
I loved the TV series.
This game made me very, very sad.
Holy shit nostalgia. I forgot about this game.
Did the people that made this game and Toy Story Racer aldo made the Stuart Little 2 game? The music sounds very similar.
I haven't seen the movie buzz lightyear of star command: the adventure begins at all! I didn't even know it was a movie!! and I wasn't born in 2000! I was bron in later years after this came out! I miss a good animated movie... :'3
I use to watch this show as a kid and I played the hell out of this game... never beat it sadly, SOOO much rage quitting.
1:36 :D _I did! I saw the film! I even watched a bit of the TV show when I was a wee lad!_
17:43 :O _Holy smokes! Patrick Warburton played Buzz for the show! I never noticed that!_
ah kouskos poison the poison for kouskoo, kouskoos poison. that poison?
Yes! _That_ Patrick Warburton!
-(It's spelled "Kuzco", by the way.)-
***** thanks, that names a bitch to spell
This brings back memories. I had the PC version of this and the controls were just as loose.
Also, is that Joe from Family Guy and Kronk from Emperor's New Groove voicing Buzz?
yeah it's Patrick wartburn. that'll work
WAIT, WILLIAM SHATNER WAS IN THIS MOVIE!!?!
I must find it again....
Also, I want that Buzz hoodie! Where did you get it?😱😱😱
I actually watched this movie a lot at my friends house
Yay!
Rosie, nice up as always. Have you played Disneys extreme skate adventure on ps2 or toy story 3 on PS3? I bloody love this film
Did not know Caddys sister had a RUclips channel, though I guess it would make sense
