I could not agree more, this song is extraordinary. Back in '92 when I first popped this CD in the CD player, I knew it was one of those songs I'd listen to for the rest of my life. Over my entire lifetime, I've only rarely had that experience. Heard this song first on Mtv and went right out and bought the CD so I could hear it over and over. This is actually one of those songs where I try *not* to think about the lyrics because they're quite heartbreaking, and it just makes me cry thinking how heroin destroyed his life and how miserable he (and many others) were getting caught up in the ruthless greed of the psychopaths that ran the music industry for decades. Superb song. Everything about it is excellent.
Forgot about this song I haven't heard it in over 20 years.it still rocks
Damn,what a crunchy groove man!
I loved this whole album!! ❤
Great beat and you must to admite awesome drum work
Single grooviest song of all time! I love drumming to it.
I had such high hopes for this band when it came out; it was like Janes’s Addiction and Grandfunk Railroad had a baby.
Just scrolling through the comments to see if anyone else heard a little Jane's Addiction in this track...
@@monstabishi Jane's addiction was 1 of shannon's favorite bands , love from Indiana where he is from *☆♡
@@sarahboller5912 It's a nice feeling when you feel like you recognise a band's musical influence. Very satisfying to see that recognition is shared and confirmed. Funny how music can connect people on opposite sides of the world....😊
@@monstabishi I thought the same too, Jane's Addiction sounds! Been caught stealing, to be precise.
I definitely hear the Janet’s Addiction influence on this one. My favorite Blind Melon track.
The drummer really earned his pay on this song!
IMO, the best Blind Melon song. Much better than No Rain
These guys & STP were my favorites from the 90s
Probably the greatest song ever created and no one knows it exist
This song is a time machine back to 93 when I was a 20 year old kid. That’s why I fucking love music.
How much thier great career could have been, BM what a bunch of AMAZING musicians!! And Shannon what a loss for Rock... 2021 & still we all the fans miss U bro.
pretty hard for a band (from any time) to really get this good and tight - truly a gem of the 90s.
Amazing legendary band
