There's a funny bit when he's talking about the signature that I don't think got translated. Ryota says "The guy I sold it to promised to never sell it, so he asked me to sign it". Only made it three years before bringing it to auction, haha.
This is insane guys, I got shivers even watching this video, I can't imagine being in his perspective reuniting with his car after 20+ years, amazing video. Greetings from Lithuania
I LOVE how nerdy and passionate you are about this stuff, because its the same stuff i love. I cant imagine what a trip it must be for him to see a car rebuilt but also preserved (through using as many parts off the original shell as possible) 20 years later on the other side of the planet with a bunch of guys who are so passionate about it Thankyou for keeping a piece of drifting history alive. And telling the stories and documenting them so we can continue to look at them going forward ❤️
Wow what a video, I will always like the big name guys like Alonso, Block, Earnhardt, Force, McRae, Senna, Schumacher, Tsuchiya, and Verstappen. But sometimes guys like Yuasa remind you how an inspired individual makes such a big splash in the small pond of Motorsport. I’m glad I could buy some merch to help thanks for setting up some really cool content.
Some pieces of metal make us happier than we can imagine. Sitting here in Germany and just feeling the passion and love for a project like Yuasa's. I was and still am very happy with my purchase, this video just made me regret not buying more. Thanks for taking us along Neil
That car has aged so damn well, It still looks absolutely incredible today! Compared to the tuning scene of the early 2000s of modifying peugeot's and citroens and whatever this car still looks good today, In my eyes it literally looks perfect, I love everything about this car, The bodykit, wheels and the livery all go together so well. I still remember when I first saw this car in the JDM option d1 films, It always struck out to me from the rest of the cars.
This is incredible Neil. Just fucking incredible. You're writing your own history here, linking the early drift scene in Japan to the modern drift scene in the west, one piece at a time. I get what you mean by your goal of making bigger things happen now that you've gone full time. If this is the kind of events you've got in your head I am so on board and my eyes will continue to stay inherently glued on Mondays ❤️
Dude, I'm sure that means so much to him. I would cry if someone had brought back one of my old cars to me, not because of the car, but the moments and memories associated with it. Amazing video and story from you guys. I'm sure he will remember this one dearly forever.
This is class , I ain’t that into drifting or twincam s but this whole story is brilliant, the car , yuasa himself , the info, the history all in little ould Ireland 🇮🇪 simply class lads Well done juicebox , Neil & the lads 👌
Bro, you did a beautiful thing, I totally relate to the whole "he teared up whilst touching the car" I can completely relate, obviously he has a WAY deeper history/experience, but as car guys, I get it, we've all got 'that car' we wished we didn't have to let go, whatever the circumstance.
Such an incredible moment to see Ryota reunited with his car and to hear him talk about it. So glad to have gotten to see him in Mondello doing rings. Hats off to you Neil and everyone involved! ❤
What a cool moment, I remember seeing this car in many old D1GP videos when i was a little kid and it was one of my favorite cars cause of the bodykit, wheels and the big wing 🤩🔥
Man, someone has been cutting onions. I love that you guys did this, and that you are also being respectful about it. So much respect from me. I hope he gets a chance to give it a bit of a proper spin in the next days.
I ducking love this channel Neil. Cars mean alot to us all who know they're more than metal and wheels. Such a wholesome video and so cool to learn little intricate details that would have otherwise been lost in time.
This is so fucking cool! I enjoyed this so much, thanks to Neil and all the Juicebox team for helping making this happen, bringing the man himself to show around his old car and tell this crazy random stories that we love. Please keep making this stuff posible.
How bloody good, the memories that he must have in that car are unimaginable. I totally understand your monologue at the end of the video about how emotional the whole thing would be for everyone involved in this reunion. So much love for your love of cars and bringing people from all over the world together Neil :)
What you guys have done here is truely remarkable. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen. To see such an extensive history explained in this way by the original creator. A true part of motorsport history right back to its origin, and now... You guys are part of that journey ♥ I completely relate to the emotion attached to inanimate objects thing you were speaking about and all of this together... Just wow. Incredible!!
One of the coolest moment of car history, ever, brought to you by some random guy in a shed 🤣 Been waiting all week for this one! Can't wait to see the 86 Fest footage!
What a lovely story. A car that you really lived with or put a lot of yourself into can become such a strong access point into a past time of your life, so I'm not surprised that Yuasa-san was a bit mind-blown by it (through jet lag too, no doubt), reliving all that stuff. This is all so cool. Top work for putting this moment together.
Reunion is mint, lad! Yuasa is a great sport for coming all this way too, I hope he enjoys the Emerald Isle and your love for the car culture he helped shape 20+ years ago. Excited for the rest of the episodes!
Oh man, that's so cool! I remember seeing some of those clips of early D1 assuming they were all well paid and had sponsorships. So much respect for the pioneers of Drift and shredding cars in the name of FUN!
That was SO cool, so awesome hearing the stories about him making the livery the reactions and emotions to do with a literal cool tin box bringing people together LOVE IT!!
Incredible my man. Honestly insane to watch you come so far bro. You should seriously be opening some sorta real life or even an online jdm museum or something I swear.
man Neil the insta post had me blown away but to see him pull out the fine details of the history of that car is crazy awesome. S/O to u & all the bois that made this happen, give yourself major credit too, linking the past of drifting to the present is so cool to see. Also the way he gives you some cred to your absurd amount knowledge is so true, you know the most wild & weird things about these cars & its a treat when all that come out when you share these stories through the videos. Big ups man love from Cali
So cool to see this all coming together, heck im even proud of you lads doing such a amazing job on it! And with the pictures and everything, you made the memories last forever!
I’ve been waiting for this for ages! Seeming the photos online first before the video I been counting the hours till today to watch the video, I got the notification going to work so I was late as I sat in a layby watching it… was worth it ❤
this car and other cars like the Nakamura naoki origin lab S13 are some of the biggest cars that formed my opinion of what drift cars should look like.
Things that make life worth living. Beautiful
There's a funny bit when he's talking about the signature that I don't think got translated. Ryota says

The steeze on yuasa too.. Freshest chuckalos in the world. crispy windbreaker. all black. steeze
Beautiful to see this video up finally! Thank you for sharing this special moment with us!
This is one of the most incredible stories in the global automotive community in recent years. Thank you
This is insane guys, I got shivers even watching this video, I can't imagine being in his perspective reuniting with his car after 20+ years, amazing video. Greetings from Lithuania
“Grabs blanket, frosted animal cookies, and finds a quiet spot…and play.” Been waiting to see this come together for all parties involved good or bad.
Grabbed my chips and dip to watch this, cant forget the bev a 40oz beer what a life.
I LOVE how nerdy and passionate you are about this stuff, because its the same stuff i love.

Fantastic, so nerdy, so specific. So Juicebox 👌👌👍👍👏👏
Not crying, just got sweaty eyes. Brilliant.

What a moment! The emotions, the stories. This is what the car community is all about. You love to see it.

What a cool dude! Super nice of him to bring over all the memorabilia!
yuasa gets to see his old car... ueo's 85 is road-worthy again and restored... the 86 world is healing
@@NANA-SHI-NO-GO-NBEI I thought ueos 86 was still getting restored????
Where has Ueo's 85 been posted?

This is what Juicebox is all about! What a worthwhile and special thing to do, reuniting Yuasa with his original car! 👏
Was really looking forward to this. Such an awesome watch.
Alleged twingo man?!
@@possibly8180 hello :)

This shit got me emotional. I’m sick I didn’t get to mondello for 86 fest. Ye did good reuniting him with his car. What a feeling that must be for him
I remember watching this thing on drift vids on RUclips before it showed up in Ireland, always loved this yoke.

湯浅さんの逆シフト、ショップのミスだったとは!
当時、ビデオの車種データで逆シフトって書いてあったから意味があってやっていたものかと思ってました。
What a special episode for the channel 🎉
What a cool moment, I remember seeing this car in many old D1GP videos when i was a little kid and it was one of my favorite cars cause of the bodykit, wheels and the big wing 🤩🔥
I use to watch a lot of team mouse as a kid love 86z
But the body kit was so ahead of its time
@@JB-sv5pr Yes! Team Mouse I remember! Such a great group of drifters! Absolutely, that bodykit really stood out 💯
this is the stuff of legend boys
This is the coolest thing since watching the old D1 back in the day. 2 legends in a shed in Ireland fucking class
Such a legend that truly deserves more appreciation than most people will ever understand.
The way he touches the vehicle with such a gentle touch shows how much this car meant to him. Many memories 🥺
