Weir Performance hasn’t even emailed me back about ordering a differential kit! They might have good products but where’s the customer service? Edit: Finally got ahold of him, he really knows his stuff!
I've dealt with similar issues in the past.. Weir makes great products, but like most of my buddies & I in grassroots drifting, we've found it takes forever to get in contact with them and is usually very slow turn around time if you're shipping your diff to them to build.
Call him and leave a message. Hes super busy and i believe its just him running the shop. ill call and leave a message and he'll get back to me and get my stuff sent out.
Very nice vid showing how Spence put the diff and axle together. He definitely knows his stuff on these rear ends. He rebuilt the stock AE86 LSD for my ‘71 Corolla and after I broke it a couple of years later he set up the Kaaz 1.5 way LSD for me. The Kaaz unit has been working well since then.
I had the 4age engine in my 89 mr2 its only 130hp but red lined mine to 8600 everyday for 5 years and it had 200000mi on it when I bought it so yeah honestly one of the strongest motors I ever experienced

Differential work is always one of the very few things I farm out. No matter how much I measure and check and shim and adjust and torque things, they never come out right

dont forget to get a proper pinion angle alignment. It has to be spot on with a 1 piece drive shaft. If not, you chew through pinion gears. Dont ask how I know.
