Your phone needs to have NCF (Near field communication) then you just open the FNB app and go to Pay and choose Tap to pay and it will give you the cards available to pay from. (You have to set this in the card settings that your card I able to make tap payments) then it will give you a screen that says "pay now" and you tap your phone. And payment will be done. (it may also still ask for a pin if you sent it to still require a pin to tap and pay)
Can you add money on the card?
You don't need to as the card will be attached to your bank account by default (you can choose which account the default account must be).
I tried using mine at fuel station but keep getting declined. Ended up deleting the thing.
We're you using it with the tap to pay option? Because for some reason, it also doesn't work with that for me. Only to purchase things online.
