I have added my cards to virtual cards as well. but how do you use it? Do i first have to log into the app, select cards, select the virtual card that I want to pay with, and then tap to pay? If so, this is very time consuming and not always possible to do while standing at a till point. Isn't there a shorter method, i.e. a shortcut you can add to your home screen, so you can just tap on the shortcut and it immediately goes to the "tap to pay" screen?

You can change this in the app settings - refer to this FAQ doc www.fnb.co.za/downloads/ways-to-bank/FAQs.pdf

FNB sent me an email explaining how to activate a virtual card. Bu t when I got to Step 5: 'Select 'Card or Virtual Card', there was no option to add a virtual card-- it simply read 'Add Card', and when I proceeded to see what happens, all I could do was order a new credit card. All this blather about everything being so 'easy', but som ehow it never is.

Capitec has copied everything from fnb. What i give kudos for capitec is R7 pay and clear option. Light years cheaper than fnb. Plus fnb app looks way better and detailed hd resolution compared to capitec.
