    In winter I switch to a cream moisturizer (instead of a lotion) 30 minutes after applying Retin A (tretinoin) at night and switch from my 20% Vitamin C in the mornings to a 10% Vitamin C serum.

    • @TeawithMD
      @TeawithMD  Год назад

      Good plan! You can use a 20% vitamin C in the winter as long as it doesn't burn your skin too

    I used to use L'Oréal Hydra Active Day Cream and it was so heavy on my skin and it would just "sit" there and not be absorbed properly. Plus, i would get break outs often. I switched to Kiehl's and it was a game changer!

    Hi Dr, for the last 6 months I went through extreme acute stress. My skin has lost elasticity, volume, my hair has thinned, and I have seen sagging where there was none months ago. Some of his has now began to resolve since the stress has decreased. I take very good care of my skin but I am concerned it’ll never return to its baseline state. Can it and will it? Thank you.

      I'm sorry to hear about the stress that you have been going through! Stress can certainly take a toll on skin (I made a video on how that happens here: ruclips.net/video/vHAbI89EGTo/видео.html). It will resolve over time as long as the stressor is removed! It may take some time and special care to your skin

    You mention not to use occlusives over actives, but don't all moisturizers contain humectants, emollients, and occlusives? If that is the case, then don't moisturize over actives?
