A slow burn
I won’t admit it’s over
Faded black
Real blur
I won’t admit it’s over
A day’s a night away
The path you seek
It’s what we want
Empowers me
Our mouths to feed
Blinded by greed
I know this isn’t how its supposed to be
I have wasted all my time on you
Something's gotta change now
Something's gotta change now
The secret fades away
I will plead
The rain has come
A tyrant runs it’s course
Satisfaction
Satisfaction
Spirits wild and free
I have wasted all my time on you
Something's gotta change now
Something's gotta change now
Take every moment
It’s fine by me
Take the whole world apart
It’s all I need
Take every moment (Take it all)
It’s fine by me (Fine by me)
Take the whole world apart (Take it all)
It’s all I need (Fine by me)
LOATHE AS ONE
EEAUGH
@@maxalaintwo3578 type shit.....................
Dude this is a badass track
What’s the tuning?
EAEADF#
nah, tuning is drop kick a baby
he's right
What brand doin here lol
Honestly I think the snap at 1:12 is my favorite part lol. It’s such a small thing but it accentuates the moment perfectly and is pretty unconventional for this genre (though Loathe have proven themselves to be anything but conventional at this point).
Yes like such a small thing but I really dig how the snapping is there all throughout the track but everything clears for but s second
let's see if everyone in the audience can time it right at a live show
They've been enjoying the new vild album haha
@@kayde1749 literally just a vildhjarta snap lmfao
@@SharpToneRecords true I have a great mental image of thousands of people snapping off cue and now my day is complete
Loathe is the kind of band from which I expect nothing but something good and with that Loathe feeling. This one has both
they definitely created their own thing
@@toxer7497 no one does it better
Exactly 💯! Loathe is perfect in their art
@@SharpToneRecords Just wish it was bloody possible to sing along to this one. I don't know how anyone would hahaha, the way the screams were mixed is so chaotic and bipolar. Sounds sick, but yeah, not a sing-a-long XD
@@takoshihitsamaru4675 thats what i was thinking so many effects and atmospharic sounds but they still catch a sound wtf ennit
Loathe is the future of metal.
I hope not, this sounds mostly 90s with some modern tone.
@@adamlogan9500 Good. i do welcome this future.
@@adamlogan9500 You're literally saying that from one song? Makes a lot of sense. And who cares anyway? The mix of styles is amazing.
@@Silverhazey_ dude their biggest hit is just copy of deftones sound
@@svalkacontent So they are influenced by Deftones. Ok…name me one, literally one song that sounds like New Faces in the Dark or Gored from Deftones. The answer is none.
The drums/mix almost have a Lofi sound to them. It’s very different from most modern metal where the drums are heavily compressed and slamming in the mix. It works really well for this song in particular. Their tone is what sets them apart from most alt-metal bands.
and yet it sounds so crisp.
They are really cool , yes
Just saw them live and the drummer had his stare turned real low and dry like this, even though they didn't play this track. Maybe it's just his sound now. I'm kinda into it though!
I get "Queen of the Damned" vibes on that opening
It sounds like the guitars play by dubstep rules as well sounds very different.
Snare drum is so damp a health inspector is gonna check it for mold. Love it.
dawg lol
Creased me that
Everyone keeps saying deftones/meshuggah, ..etc. THIS IS LOATHE. they’ve earned/coined this sound as their own. ILII WAVES
It’s clearly influenced by them. There’s nothing wrong with that
@@OPAIK Yeah man they told me they sat down and went hmm how can we get more deftones comparisons
THANK YOU ! tired of hearing “it’s DeFtOnES “ but no one talks about there slipknot influences .
@@alexs9528 Dudes listen to white pony a few times and say every song sounds like it. I guess everything sounds the same to the untrained ear
As someone who loves Loathe, claiming this doesn't sound like Deftones and Meshuggah had a baby (same with ILIIAITE) is just silly, we can all hear it, they wear their influences very blatantly on their sleeves, and that's not a crime, they do both bands proud
Insane. The music is like a story i can’t predict… So many feelings… So many visions… This band is one of those which prove that sound can say more than just words…. I wish them the best future
you should give car bomb - sets, black blood, or really any track a listen. i swear their formula for song progression is "okay how can we make this feel unnatural"
@@justinunger3526 Car Bomb is fantastic, I second this
@@blakemaddox3681 only band to ever drop my jaw
I don't care how many people have said it, I'll say it a million times more, Loathe is the best band out there. Future of heavy music.
Disagree heavily
Loathe is my favorite band but to call them the future of heavy music is only setting your expectations of them up for failure
Heavy music? What are you listening to?
@@technodestructo ok maybe it's not that heavy if you're comparing it to Gored but most people definitely consider this heavy music
Agreed most poeple would. Pity these bands never get any air play
These guys are incapable of disappointing, they just keep coming up with fresh ideas and pushing the boundaries of heavy music. So stoked to hear what they have coming !
This band saved me in pandemic. A month before the world pandemic started, someone i loved passed away the day of my birthday in front of me, my friends and family. When the pandemic started i lost my job, i was miserable for 6 months. I couldn't sleep. But there was Loathe that kept me calm every night i tried to disconnect my mind. And continue to be there for me when they released TTTB.
I was curious on how Connor's departure would affect the band, but now i know why, Loathe keeps heading into a more obscure and ethereal direction, they are to metalcore what bands like Converge, Cave In and Poison The Well were in the early 00s when Nu Metal popularized. love the new snare, even though i am a sucker for St. anger snare, like. I like how they adapted that drum sound from bands like A Perfect Circle's last album or Death From Above 1979. They keep excelling themselves every time. I hope i get to see them live soon when this pandemic gets under control.
thank you for sharing my man. Glad the music could help you
@@SharpToneRecords thank you for giving these Liverpool men a chance, never thought what could have happened if you didn't
Makes me think of the snap in Brannmarkt by vildhjarta
This song was apparently written before Connor left. Glad you're still with us, btw.
@@smokejc really? Connor was still a part of this? Idk i think with Connor this would have sounded way dif
And thank you for your kind words!
That ending is so fucking rad. That vocal melody is enchanting. A mix of deftones, lofi synthwave, and I’m getting a hint of killing me softly with his words with the “it’s fine by me” melody. Insanely cool, extremely creative, and this is my track of the year and it’s only January 6th
i don't know where i heard this, but i think about "loathe is what metalcore should've become" every time i hear a new track. incredible composers
Metalcore did evolve into some bands going the djent route, and then you have stuff like code orange. The Metalcore influence on their last album was undeniable.
I think, the guitar sound character is not metalcore, sounds dirty like post-grunge sounds
@@rendypramandha5098 well, metalcore will always be evolving and played with. the actual composition itself does not resemble post grunge at all, although you're right about its tone. but again, metalcore and music in general will always be played around with, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten as far and eclectic as we have without that. I'm sure I could argue that this isn't not metalcore all day, but in the end, loathe is loathe and loathe will do what loathe does- nothing but love for any beautiful music, and cheers
The melodies, the atmosphere, the heavy sections, the goosebumps. Loathe are back dropping the bangers! I Let It In & Took Everything was one of my top album's of 2020! Finger's crossed we get more new music from these guys \m/
oh you will..
@@SharpToneRecords LETS GOOOOOOOOO
That snap at 1:12 is just heavenly.
Loathe has such a unique sound and I fully believe we're witnessing them spearhead a new generation of not only metal, but music. Never left me disappointed. I feel like years from now we'll look back and see how important they really were. Keep fighting the good fight gentlemen 🍻
Ever since I heard the snap, I can’t stop thinking about the snap for the Nintendo switch
Best band ever?
Probably.
probably.
@@SharpToneRecords Is this George Lever again?
@@CFChristian no I think this record is gonna feature a few different producers, a Collab effort
@@bigmezz5537 Hmmm OK.
Love the way that baritone rattles without distortion, Eric & the boys deserve the world
This is how you get people to listen to rock/metal again. This art right here is the answer. The very innovative and spacey contrast of aggro screaming and lofi blends perfectly
goddamn i dont know what the actual intention of the lyrics are, but they remind me a lot of my own struggles with depression and suicidal ideation. The ending of this song is so incredibly beautiful, the peaceful musical resolve with "take the whole world apart, it's all I need" just fucking hits me like a train. Its works of art like this that remind me life is very much worth living, so thank you Loathe and anyone else who made this track possible.
thanks for sharing, we're sure the band would love to hear that too.
I just screamed without the S
Thank you, Loathe.
😳
wait
.
The Deftones influence on the vocal melodies is heavy asf
sounds like heavy ass Radiohead to me lol
Reminds me more of Glassjaw.
love all of this
Little bit of Depeche mode too
Just listen to a guitar in the beginning, sounds like Change in the house of flies
The ending makes me want to immediately listen to it again.
The drum mix threw me off at first but holy shit the chorus and those melodies. Loathe seems to always be one step ahead. This will be the song I overplay for the next few months.
LOATHE AS ONE.
Exactly ! I thought it was like an electro beat or something at first. I guess they cranked the modern vintage sound to 11
That moment when you miss loathe and search to bring along that serotonin only to get a new song…
Now I’m high on serotonin… this is beautiful
Crazy that this was made years ago. Shit SLAPS.

One of the best songs Loathe has ever written.
waking up seeing loathe dropped a new track. Speakers at full volume 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
People always ask me why I listen to such angry music, and the truth is that I'm always angry that I could never write anything half this good musically
I've been hooked on these guys since I Let It In, since then I've gone through their entire discography and had zero disappointments. Glad that still holds up, this song has such a weird feeling to it but it's perfect. Loathe as one.
im still processing how mind numbingly good iliiaite is. and then we get this banger. christ have mercy.
their most underappreciated song and a personal favorite of mine. if we can expect more like this down the line, I think we can expect the future of loud rock!
My favorite band right now by a million miles. 2022 is gonna be MASSIVE for them.
One of the coolest, most unique songs I think I've ever heard. So excited to see what these guys come out with next
Absolute masterpiece! I just started listening to Loathe this year, 2023, and you guys are for sure my #1 new band to follow. that ending is completely ethereal.
Loathe and Bad Omens releasing their stuffs today. What a wonderful day. 🖤🙏🏻
What is this guitar sound? That's revolutionary, insane
Baritone guitar.
I hope more heavy bands try to do this sort of 1960s Abbey Road drum sound and fuzzed out almost Muse sounding guitar tone. This what I always wanted to hear!!! And what a band to get into that territory

Loathe, you did it again, you broke my expectations with the cold sun, you slammed them into the floor with I let it in and it took everything, and now I'm trapped in a synthetic beautiful dream filled with screams and gourgeus vocals, I'm in love with music once again
Best metal/rock band on the planet right now. No one comes close
Great song, the way the snare sounds reminded me of Death From Above 1979.
The song has been out almost for a day on Loathe's account though.
I swear every Loathe song would be perfect on a The Crow soundtrack.
Listening to Loathe all day long for a month now, and now this pops up.
Edit: It slaps hard.
It's like travelling back in time for deftones' white pony concert, but you had Chaosphere and Nothing tape stucked in deck,,and that's the trip you'd go again no doubt!
Damn Loathe channeling their inner Crosses I see.
This DECADE belongs to LOATHE, Sleep Token, and Spiritbox.
Sleep Token is ok at best dude lol just my opinion overrated as fuck.
Don't forget Alpha Wolf
Don't forget Iron Maiden
Add in Unprocessed and the list is complete

Really freaking good. That drum doesn't sound like a metal drum at all, which is what makes it interesting.
snare sound straight out of the 70's ! love it
Song has been stuck in my head for days. I just love it.
That snare sound is so unorthodox I love it
Do you remember when the "Lads from Liverpool" meant the Beatles? I sincerely hope that Loathe exceed that level of recognition, because they fucking deserve it. ILIIAITE is still the best album this millennium, but this track might actually be better than anything on it. O_o
