I am ten seconds into this video, i have never even heard of these guys and im listening to it on my phones speakers and i can already tell you, i about to destroy the room im in
Loathe's aesthetic is sinister, decrepid and beautiful. Visceral art. Love the issue #'s. Love the coherency. Love everything about their image and their music. The band in the UK, right now.
Loathe , Black Tongue , Napalm Death , old BMTH and so much more... The UK , Sweden , Canada , US and Australia are top metal producers... Every time I listen to Loathe i want to listen to Ocean Grove right after ... Since Luke Holmes left the band i stopped supporting their music because it fucking limps without him . But i have mixed tastes...cabal , humanities last breath , meshuggah , deftones , dayseeker , haken, rivers of nihil ..shit we could name awesome bands for a week ...but Loathe touched a spot i can't describe...i just close my eyes and feel their music on my skin..top drummer too btw. All of them exceptional musicians in our musical world ( for who likes metal )
i always had this album on itunes but never gave it a full spin. their recent album got me heavy into them and wow their older stuff is so insane as well.. i’ve been missing out.
People have to stop with the whole 'is it just me? Not sure if it's just me? Am I the only one' thing lol. You're never ever the 'only one' with anything. Stop wanting to be unique with something. It's pathetic.
@@Alostwanderer88 asking "am i the only one?" is completely inequivalent to wanting to be the only one when it comes to something, henceforth my questioning in the first place... also, judging by your other reply on my comment (on another loathe song) i highly doubt you're above high school age, if you are, grow up, lol
They have... so much doom influence in it... The whole visulas, 4th harmony utilization... and then comes clean vocals and ripping melody all the way around. I love these guys !
You guys are unique, but I hear a touch of influences here and there in your songs. I fucking love it! Keep up the great work. I absolutely love the instrumentals; it gives an out of this world feeling.
the screams definetly have some resemblance to sam carter, but musicwise its pretty different, it reminds me of IOWA era slipknot, mixed with alot of dramatic chords and a more ambiant/dark atmosphere

3 years later and they're the best in the world for metal imo.

That opening riff is absolutely menacing. Killer, underrated track.
That angelic chorus. Beautiful voice

A question, does anyone know what the type of animation or artistic style of the video is like? @@jordanslack6288
Sharptone has some incredible bands
thank you! :)
SharpTone Records you're welcome guys. Check out indighxst as well!
ya, I think too! YIN LOATHE & YAN Indighxst.
Ya then they got don broco LOL which is such a complete different band then most of their heavy AF ones.
Derk Ender Don Broco are incredible.
Dude, they blend singing and nasty ass metal really good. One of very very few.
Don't know if it's just me, but the imagery fits perfectly with the song.
I wonder why they used it this song hmmm

It has been covered..
No replies after four years?
anyone else notice how similar the chord progressions are in termina’s new song to this?
It’s so good bro 🤤
hi
Whoever mixed the song at Sharptone is a fucking legend! Motherfucking guitar tones are fucking stellar!
Glow In The Dark Studios/Matt Goldman/Matt McClellan (Underoath, The Chariot, Anberlin). A very talented set of ears :)
all incredible bands. i'd love to go in that studio!
Actually, it wasn't Goldman, it was me :) Glad y'all like it!
Matt, do you have an email for mix/master inquiries? I may need to contact you for a project... :)
There is no sweeter sound on this record than at 1:42 of this song. Perfection.
Also 2:37 is insane... im just in love
This album is absolutely amazing. Def one of my top albums this year.
Live, Laugh, Loathe

Dude so intense that is scary.... I love it
I can literally tell this song just from the opening, its so catchy.
Hopefully we see more live footage, you guys are amazing.
Please , don't ever change .
Album of the year
Definitely one of the highlights of the album!!
0:17 sounds like the guitars are screaming jesus Christ the goosebumps turned me into a cactus.
I felt the same with It's Yours first riff, amazing.
That's some guitar tone.
That's the tone of 2 basses and 1 Guitar my dude.
Shawn Kade DAMN
No it's 2 guitars and a bass.
They play in Drop E
Year late, but it’s a baritone guitar.
The Chorus reminds me of Veil of Maya and this is really great!!
Omg, this is impressive. Gotta share this band with my friends here in Russia. I just have to.
The best of the album
3:19 these vocals are fucking nastyyyyyyy
I can't get over how fucking nasty this vocal segment is
“Disarray..this man made..KINGDOM OFFFF GIIAAANTS” 🤘🏽

Is that an Uncle Buck reference? 😂
Hits all the sports where it matters the most
Who is the visual artist/animator for this mv again? I think I'm following him on IG but already forgot his handdle.
IG is Loudsonic if I’m not mistaken
3:20
This is like sworn in if they didn't suck lyrically. Obviously other influences, but the level of heavy is there
Far better melodically as well
Akira all the way
god damn
Good.
Bro why isn’t this on SoundCloud
the vocals is really same of Shawn Spann from I The Breather

🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
SOUNDS FUCKIN HUGE
Am I the only one getting periphery vibes from that chorus?
Vocals remind me of Adrienne Fitipaldes tbh, especially the lows
Fuck yes!
yuh
Does anyone know who made this video?
This band is like a fusion between The Devil Wears Prada and Sworn In, fuckin tasty 👌🏻
And Deftones.
They remind of a much heavier version of architects.
They're almost entirely different to architects. And also, I've heard architects to heavier stuff than this. This is chock full of cleans.
the screams definetly have some resemblance to sam carter, but musicwise its pretty different, it reminds me of IOWA era slipknot, mixed with alot of dramatic chords and a more ambiant/dark atmosphere
is there a guest vocalist doing the cleans????
Nope, a band member.
Insane.
Sounds like Spencer from periphery but I know it’s not as it’s their singer, crazy good ❤️
anyone getting Northlane: Discoveries vibes?
Zac Meagher code orange meets deftones
Does anyone know who did the artwork for this video?
Ig : @loudsonic
not sure if I'm crazy or not, but on first listen this reminds me of newer the devil wears prada. digging it tho.
The album was produced by the same guy who did the TDWP and Underoath albums. :)
8:18 erra of tdwp. You're not crazy. This has to be the only band I've heard so far that has been able to send me back to the sound of that album.
Stephen Furman His screams sound almost identical to Mike Hranicas.
I mean clean vocals are almost as same as Jeremy
Invert colors for black on white canvas. 👌
Drop b?
EAEADF# :)
Nicolas Hargreaves sounds like drop e to me
EAEADF#
Im kinda getting a Monuments vibe
So what's for dinner tonight?
Loathe > Sworn In
i see those akira references
Kinda sounds like The Dali Thundering Concept at times
Nice Parasyte and Akira referances
this would have sworn in sound like on their 2nd album but they were super high and shit.
says new album is their heaviest and most serious one, can't wait.
"says new album is their heaviest and most serious one, can't wait."
The Amity Affliction says that about every new album coming out.
Yeah but Sworn In are heaps more talented and aren't afraid to experiment, unlike TAA cunts who released 3 albums that sound the same
hahahhahahahahahaha
Slamerong Bano I really hate TAA now haha. So weak.
Cleans sound like fellsilent
Fuck yes!
grindcore meets nu metal
Grindcore? Lol what?
Ryan Gray wait you’re don’t know what grindcore is?
@@jefferdipp461 I do. I was questioning the original commenter on how exactly he hears any grindcore influence in this.
I wonder how many people miss the political meaning of this song in spite of them explicitly mentioning anarchism and monarchism.
probably a lot considering how incomprehensible the lyrics are 💀
