As a 25 year old truck driver that owns his own truck !! You inspired me to go get my pilots license!!!! 2024!!!!!
That's AWESOME!!!! I hope you have so much fun - best decision I ever made! And major respect for you being a truck driver & owning your truck at such a young age! 🙌
Me too
You just have to have PLACES to GO...(which is why I stopped...didn't have places to go...even though I've been to 48 of the 50 and most of Canada...not to mention all over planet)
@@bayflightI’m gonna guess he’s not young if he’s been driving for 25 years😉
@chris , yes I’m 25 years old! Wrote that wrong……. It was brutal getting to where I am Lots of learning……. I realized aviation is just like trucking. Same set of regulations! FMCSA and FAA. Watching @bayflight made me realize that if I can start a transportation business at my age I can get my own private plane and license as well! Can’t wait to start this hobby!
As an ATC, pilots like Stevie are the highlight of the job. So much joy, It's what keep us going!
Thank you for what you do, Diego. Very underappreciated job!
"Both my airplanes" @ your age.. What an impressive young lady. The way you fly on your own and so calm and professional. I hope you inspire other young people.
Thank you so much! I'm so grateful for both planes and the opportunities I've had in aviation, and I hope I can inspire young people as well!
@@bayflight You already do!
With zero prior aviation experience, in October 2021, I watched two of Stevie’s videos and got totally hooked! She was having a friggin blast. Today I have 500 hours and an instrument rating. All started by Stevie!
Started in August at age 51 at zero experience. At 56 hours currently working on my instrument. I used Stevie’s videos to get comfortable with flight following! My instructor for primary was impressed with my radio work the first xc. THANKS STEVIE!
500 hours and an instrument rating in two years! Wow!
@@MalcolmRuthven I got a little obsessed! 🤣
It's so cool to see Stevie's face light up when she says "Graham"... or sees N5921C!
And I love all the shout-outs you are getting, Stevie... Even from the commercial pilots and ATC!
You know you are loved by your industry when even ATC picks out your voice in a crowded airspace. Dude literally sounded like a little kid when he said , "Stevie?!" @7:28
We like the FirePilot too. He's a good guy.
Stevie's passion and love of aviation is infectious. I can't believe how many ATC know Stevie, she's the Queen of the American skies 😍
Stevies face when she saw Graham was beautiful. The way it lit up. I noticed when they were making fun of one another also. It’s nice to see that love.
🎉 I’ve spent 40 years flying for the airlines and these videos always take me back to where it all started. Best wishes to all the new flyers!
I've had the good fortune of flying many Cessna models from 140, 150, 152, 172, 177, 180, 185, 206, 208, 310, 414, CE 500.... My two favorites of all time if I could never fly anything else would be the C140 and C180. I really love watching you cross the US in the 140. Speed is not important, but the experience and view is priceless. Safe travels Stevie.
1:16 - Stevie is so cute. She can stand upright under the wing. LOL!
Love these videos.
The 140 represents everything that makes aviation pleasurable. Watching you experience it is pure joy. My first solo at 16yo was 43 years ago.
Alright, I'll admit it, I'm way jealous of Graham. Can't help it. Stevie, I love your videos.
That is hilarious that Kansas city center recognized you!!!!
Love flying at sunset with all of the lights coming on below.
This has been fun.. Thank you for sharing your adventure.
Thanks again for another great ride. Love it!❤
Thank you. Really enjoyed it.
Enjoyed this playlist, live in Payson Arizona and the local airport (KPAN) has a lot of tail draggers fly in usually Thursday and thru Saturday. This time of year, have a lot of wildland firefighting aircraft assigned/staged here as well.
Great video Stevie, looking forward to you arrival in oshkosh with both your Babies and the videos that follow from the events. thanks Larry
Sweet ❤thanks love your videos 💖
So awesome to see both those aircraft! Great content Stevie and Graham!
Another great video, thanks for sharing 🙂
Now I’m looking forward to OshKosh and your aerial experience ❤ Thanks so much for sharing your journey.
Hi Stevie what a fantastic video again thanks, you looked so proud and happy when you mentioned both aircraft are here. Also very cool how atc are getting to know you must make you so happy?.Thanks again for sharing with us take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Perfect three-point landing, textbook!!! greetings from Argentina
Nothing but butter landing's & TO's👍👍👍👍
It's so nice and green there in MO. Boy, you could see the pride in your face with the calls to 21C.
Love what you do, Stevie! Wish we could have more vids from you!
Good shot of my coworkers and I pushing in the plane 🤟🤟 Very nice plane!
Great flight Stevie, nice to meet Graham. Flew in a 140 over the Fla. Keys. What a view! Love your videos. Can’t wait for Oshkosh.
Watching your flights, hearing the procedure run throughs and the radio communications bring back fond memories of my time in service and being able to fly then even as just a crew. I wear a smile the whole video.
Thank you for bringing those memories back to life.
BTW Your landings are velvety smooth. They are a pleasure to watch. Lift is sweet as well.
Nice to see you enjoy the flight with your cheerful personality stevie✌️❤️🇬🇧
Beautiful! Nothing quite as nice as a twilight landing. Stellar landing, as usual. It may be flat in KS, but that sunset was spectacular! Graham totally missed out on your wing rock...
Be safe! 🎄
I've been enjoying this series. Hope there's going to be a part 5. Love the new paint and panel on the Cessna.
Another fun trip. Thanks so much for taking us along.
Glad to have you in our city (ICT). Hope you have a great time on Oshkosh.
Just another person wanting to let you know how much I enjoy and appreciate your videos. Thank you so much for your time and effort in putting these together.
Have a lovely Christmas and fly safe.
Enjoying the videos so much. Unachievable here in Europe. Living the dream! Stay safe and happy landings in 2024!
That was awesome Stevie, the Sunset 🌇 and the Smooth Landing were totally worth the ride, thank you. The background music is amazing!! Take care, be safe 🙏
Thanks for a wonderful video Stevie. Wishing you and Graeme a Very Merry Christmas
What a beautiful sunset and flight! Reminds of the times my father and I would fly 172’s over Tennessee, Illinois, and Wisconsin. It’s been 40 years since I last went to Oshkosh. Would love to go again, and see your 140 if you’re there…
Almost finished going through my ATPL exams and watching your vids is satisfying my flying cravings, aha.
Can’t wait to fly again and finish my training some time this year.
I’m going through getting my ppl and you’ve been a huge role model. Just wanted to say thank you I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos. All the best and of course fly safe!
Nice to see the Bo again. I was starting to wonder... Me and a buddy are going in together on our first aircraft purchase. Lordy, trying to buy a plane is work -- at least for the first time.
Keep 'em coming Stevie. Really cool that so many people know your tail number and say "Hi!"
happy holidays 🎄✈️ keep on inspiring, and good luck on the Oshkosh .
You are so lucky to be living what I would consider your dream, certainly would be mine. Enjoy and be safe!
Fantastic video! Amazing approach into Kansas City. Love that time of day between the Golden Hour and Evening Blue Hour. Stunning colors! My favorite time to break out the camera gear. Who said slow doesn't have it's perks? Thank you for sharing this amazing adventure with us. Be safe and keep dreaming and flying!
I got my ppl out of kixd right next to signature is kilo Charlie. And that lady is my favorite controller!! What a small world to hear it on your RUclips!
Always a joy to watch!
I always look forward to your videos. I got my PPL a couple years ago and listening to your radio work helps keep me from sounding like a goofball on the radio, well mostly 😂
So many new Stevie videos lately has been an early Christmas present - love seeing your two beautiful planes together and this was such a fun opening
Outstanding as usual!!! "Keep the blue side up"⬆
More awesome landings!
SO NICE TO SEE 21C BACK IN ACTION ,,, INFORM US ON WHAT ALL IT WENT THROUGH ON INSPECTION ,,, SO NICE TO SEE YOU PUT OUT VID,S AGAIN >👍
Love your C 140 new instruments.. Very good with radio stuff...
I know nothing about aviation other than some distant memory of being taught in science class about the Bernoulli effect. But you make watching aviation videos very entertaining and informative. Nice job.
Amazing journey ❤
The choice of music is perfect! Love the video :)
I really enjoy all of your videos! It is so refreshing to see someone of your generation being so humble about their success. You are a credit to the aviation community the way you handle yourself at all times in the cockpit. My daughter's boyfriend just got his license on Halloween. It is just his first step, he wants to fly commercially for the airlines. I can't wait to see the arrival of the two planes at Oshkosh!
Great flight Stevie!
Hi Stevie , and Gday from sunny Queensland , Australia , top video this one , thank you , cheers
Michael Goulian is great! So lucky to get to fly with him. I met him at Cirrus school at KSDL.
Man her videos are so feel good. Great production.
So cool having aviation friends!!!!!!
Great video as always. Also enjoyed the CH-53 at the end. My father maintained 53s during Vietnam.
My wife and I had a meet and greet with your fleet at Oshkosh’23. Great to see your journey to the event.
Love your videos! Life sadly got in the way of my PPL training in my 20's but you've inspired me to try and gain my PPL before I turn 40 next year! Can't wait to watch your part 5!
I really Love that 140.
Wonderful
Stevie ,enjoy your flight and be safe and careful!
New Century airport is technically near Gardner, KS, if I'm not mistaken, rather than Olathe. I lived in Olathe for 15 years (less than a mile from Garmin HQ) and would have loved to drive the 10 minutes that it takes to get from my old house out to New Century to say hello. Thanks for letting us fly along with you, Stevie!
Great to see the "Triesenberg" aviation team in action!😜. Looking forward to the next leg of your flight as always...(UK)
Good morning from Minnesota! Great episode!
Only just found your channel. Thanks for the inspiration. Wish I could have made it up to Oshkosh this year. Already looking for next year!
You will definitely inspire a lot of people to fly, hopefully young girls like my 14 year old. My 16 year old boy is now getting hours towards his PPL. Thanks for all your great content.
Stevie is very insperational and makes aviation look like a dream.
I live right by the Garmin headquarters in Olathe, so cool that you came through!!
I enjoy flying along with you. Check the seal on your right door.
I couldnt help but get a little excited hearing you were flying into New Century.....wish it had been Gardner Mun which is a couple miles west and where I keep my Citabria.....hope you had a wonderful stay while you were here in Olathe....I have watched all your vids...youre a great pilot and ambassador for the aviation community....hope you enjoyed some good ole Kansas City BarBQue while you were here....fly safe....JimH.
What a sunset!
Merry Christmas Stevie. thanks for sharing
Most enjoyable. I was very interested to see a tail dragger landing. I have heard from private pilot friends that they can be tricky. Yours was exemplary.
Stevie, your photography and editing is just beautiful, the overhead and the wing mounted cam’s make great shots. Safe travels
Thank you so much!
Great, isn't it. I mean this in the nicest possible way... there is something about the shots from the underwing camera that make me think of the Thunderbirds puppet Sci-Fi TV series. Of course Stevie bears no resemblance to Alan, Virgil, Jeff, Scott, or Gordon. They wore military cadet style caps! 😜
(Not sure that the series ever made it to the US.)
Great series. Btw you look great in those black shorts!
Hi Stevie we love you from Hawaii we had a small air line company in San Diego in the 60s and 70’s Baja airlines
Hello Stevie Love Your Channel and Nice to Meet You
Enjoy seeing your trip in the little 140. Thank you for being such a careful and responsible pilot. Merry Christmas Stevie!
Glad to hear you're enjoying the adventure! Merry Christmas!! 🎄
Hi Stevie, I am so impressed with how well you fly the C140, you have nailed every landing and obviously have those 3 pointers sorted. I have owned and flown a C170 and C195 and those early Cessnas will set you up for any taildragger going forward. As a vintage myself with over 30 000 hours (more than 20 000 on the B747 and 5000 taildraggers, mostly DC3) I have to admit to being totally impressed with everything you do on your channel, flying and editing, you really are a consummate professional. Well done young lady.
Happy to see 21charlie again!
My friend who is a retired Southwest pilot and I plan to attend Oshkosh 2025. It would be awesome to meet you and Graham if you guys are able to attend.
From a lapsed-license UK pilot. This was absolutely charming to watch, that 140 is beautiful. If flying in the UK was anything like the US I'd have kept it up. Watching this makes me consider FAA qualification.
21C! Great to see them together!
Can't wait to hear the "Good rock" when you get there!
21C and 77A, match made in heaven, haha! Had to get a practice wing rock in!
Love your new lighting system Stevie. The airplane is easily seen, and consequently safer by an order of magnitude...oh, and your design sense, supported by your tech/mech folks executed a wonderful resto job on the 140 (except for the glove box of course, just messing with you) :)
Hello to you and Graham. Thanks for bringing us along.
Hi Clarence, thank you for watching! I always appreciate your comments on my videos! Happy Holidays!
@@bayflight Thank you, and you also have a Wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year 🎊
I love flying too Oshkosh usually with a flight of 2 or 3 Moonies
Love the videos. It's definitely become a goal to get my license. Not sure when I'll be able to, but watching these videos keeps my determination high to make it happen!
Merrry Christmaaaaaaaaaaaas it was An Awesome year look forward to more content in the New Year Thank You
This is my favourite flying channel. Great host, very knowledgeable
Thank you so much!!!
I love that the closer you get to Oshkosh, the more people are recognizing you on the radio. lol If you're going to be in Oshkosh in 2024, we need to get you a ride with our Canadian Forces Snowbirds, as they will be there....first time since 2016.
