In this video we shoot a Smith and Wesson .500 Magnum at two liters, a gallon jug and AR500 steel targets made by CTS targets. The ammo used was Hornady Custom 500 S&W Magnum 500 Grain XTP Jacketed Flat Points.
This particular revolver was made in 2003 which was the year of original release. The S&W 500 Magnum is marketed as “the world’s most powerful handgun” by manufacturer. It is built on Smith And Wesson’s X Frame which is their largest frame size offered. It has a 5 shot capacity, 8.38” barrel, muzzle compensator to reduce recoil, large hogue style rubber grips, a stainless steel barrel and frame, and adjustable rear sights.
