Probably just a lot of winching, or once upon a time a bunch of hits with the kinetic rope. Probably would have gotten it out but it would have been a lot harder on the rig and environment, and a lot more dangerous.

I know Matt has gone on record saying how he loves the Banana and the Morrvair, and back in love with the Banana again. But, the way he expresses his love for the wrecker is just different. His smile every time he says he loves that truck is just different than when he says the same about any of his other rigs. And honestly who can blame him? It's my favorite too! 1) It tackles bumps with unmatched ease. 2) packs more power than either of the other rigs, obviously. 3) usually bigger size and more power come at the expense of agility. but this truck with the rear steering means it hardly makes any such sacrifices. 4) bigger size also means more weight which makes the need for anchoring almost redundant when pulling with the winch. 5) vertical lifting available to de-suction mud trapped cars. 6) just look at her! as if being all-capable wasn't enough, she's also eye candy. i don't blame Matt for picking favorites one bit.

Love watching this channel. I don’t tow professionally, but if I did, I would have my guys at risk of a rollover in a helmet with seat belts fastened. It is amazing how quickly blunt head trauma can happen in situations that seem relatively tame. It is often a death sentence. See it in the ER all the time …especially with construction equipment.
I don't know why, but every time I hear the rear steer on the wrecker, it makes me happy. Kind of makes me sad seeing the damage the owner did to his rig (cause now it looks like my 95 lol), but Matt did awesome preventing further damage.

All best from Poland, Europe! I'm watching ALL your videos! :)
EDIT: I will visit USA and this region for sure! :D
That was a good video. It made it easy to understand what Matt was about when designing the WLOW.
I love how Matt says random song lyrics in context. This is something I find myself doing, too. Only I get silly looks when I do it, not like how Tom appreciates it.
Was he hearing the original NIN version or Johnny's version in his head? 😀
Matt and the Wrecker are joined at the hip. Flawless recovery and then he wrecks the trash can.
I hope they do a large combination video with the typhoon that just went through that area causing like a whole heap of jobs coming up.
Whoever edited in the little "crevasse" needs a raise!😂
Made me so happy that you were able to make that turn in one maneuver
I LOVE the sound of everyone walking on the rocks and dirt.. Idk why..😂 👍
I don't know why, but every time I hear the rear steer on the wrecker, it makes me happy. Kind of makes me sad seeing the damage the owner did to his rig (cause now it looks like my 95 lol), but Matt did awesome preventing further damage.
Looks like he's going to need to take that Blazer to @RobbyLayton to clean up those panels.
I really like Matt's Wrecker, its outstanding! But I dont understand why he went gas instead of Diesel.. Diesel being better in almost every aspect.
I’m not convinced that isn’t peanut and in her desperation to never be left behind she races you to the rescue and pretends to be someone else’s dog.
I'm sorry you are not boring I wish I had people like you in my life. Thank you so much, you are a blessing to me and your family. I wish you the best.
