Loved the way Matt asked Rhett what his thoughts were on how to solve the situation, despite probably knowing the best option himself the whole time. Good leaders allow people opportunities to succeed and even to fail, but in that event, to learn why. These guys are simply great people.

Rhett figuring out the four wheel drive problem is what allowed them to get it out with a lot less hassle. The owners probably would've gotten it out just fine if they would've figured out the four wheel drive issue; they just needed a Rhett to figure it out for them!
And Matt allowing Rhett to figure it out himself just shows what a great Dad/teacher he is.

Matt always finds a way to get the job done. Matt made a good point about the tires being bald. I had a 1984 Ramcharger that had bald tires and I was able to pull people out of the soft sand when I lived in Arizona. There was a sandy area next to a Carl's Jr that people thought was a good place to park. I would try to warn them that it's not a good place to go but they wouldn't listen.I was charging $50 to get them out. I was making some good money. I would hang out there after work around dinner time when it was busy.

Sand can be tricky especially when it's deep and dry. We have a few places in South Texas than are a real challenge. Also having to drive a vehicle that you are not familiar with is a challenge in itself. Rhett did a good job on manipulating the buggy through the sand once he figured out the machine was not staying in 4x4. Good job on all parts -----

If they had that many lights on their vehicles at night it would be like pointing their cameras at the sun, all you would see is a ball of light and nothing else. It’s hard enough to do the job they do without all you arm chair quartbacks trying to call the shots after the fact. Just impressed again how flat tires are the only thing that works in deep fine sand ... when you think you have let enough air out already but you're still having a bit of difficulty .. let more out 🙂

once upon a time, I raced motocross ATVs. One time, after a huge rain and just sloppy, wet mud, I chose to jack up my ATV off the ground and lower my pressures to zero psi. Of course, I had bead locks and I had traction like nobody else and easily won that race. It's a HUGE difference.
