I've been watching MORR videos for several years now and I can't think of a single video that didn't leave me wanting more. Weekend videos are my favorite because we get to see more action. Keep it up MORR!!!!
To me the best part is watching Matt leads the crew. Never a raised voice, no ego, just plain good management and wonderful attitude. General kindness is shown at all times. Kudos. Semper Gumbi!!

Thank you for cleaning up all the debris left over from this wreck. That's going above and beyond. This wilderness area is a better place for you and your crew having been there.
So many people in so many triangles of death, one guy got clotheslined on a rubble slope and kept his footing (and his neck) luckily. Matt was so tired at the end partly due to the stress of managing such a complex operation, plus the deep knowledge that more than one tenet of safety was broken that day. I've made mistakes and just hope no one gets hurt, not judging
I used to live in Mesquite Nevada and these shows remind me a lot of the endless times I spent in the Arizona Strip. The landscape of Southern Utah, Nevada and Arizona can be quite alluring and beautiful. Even though I'm in the Sierra Nevada's of California I'd still could be Very Happy in Southern Utah. Speaking of the recovery aspect here, my grandmother died out in the Arizona Strip because my grandfather tried to drive a Grand Marquis from Mesquite NV to St. George UT the back way on dirt roads ( a 60 mile route that only a good 4WD should be on ). Yes, clearly he had No business being out there with that type of vehicle and to me it's clear he must've been having cognitive problems. If I remember correctly it was in February so it's usually pretty cold at that time. It's a long story but once they got stuck my grandpa eventually went to look for help, even if they had a cell phone there's usually no reception out there or least there didn't use to be. My grandmother was found laying on the ground outside the car and had succumbed to the elements by the time any help arrived. I don't think my grandpa ever wanted to live again after that and it was only 6 months or so afterwards that he passed away.
What I want to know is who are these people who complain about every little thing you do and why are they watching? You keep doing you, Matt, because the rest of us love you for it! 👍
This was an awesome showcase for what the wrecker is capable of. You guys used almost all of its bells and whistles for this recovery. But the rear steer was definitely the hero at the end of the day.
Agreed. It’s overkill for most jobs, but this was one of the first jobs to flex its capabilities. Multi-winch, Side-winch, rear-steer, narrow-body, field-welding, cool-looking, etc. all the hyphens! WOW!
Yep I was thinking the exact same thing. This job appears to be exactly what the wrecker was built for. Probably one of my favorite recoveries to watch.
Not gotten all the way through but nevermind the end of the day, he wouldn't have gotten near the job without it. If I ever win the lottery I'm deff trying to replicate the wrecker.. tho maybe not as a wrecker😶
Matt's living the dream. He's doing rewarding work, out in the fresh air, with a beautiful view, with a great handpicked team, with nobody unpleasant barking orders or spreading negativity, with his spunky and gorgeous wife bringing food to celebrate once the job is done. Honestly, what more can a man ask for?
Probably the most technically difficult recoveries I've seen you do. The (still unnamed) wrecker performed admirably. This recovery shows why you built it the way you did. Thanks for the great video!
This is what the off road wrecker was built for!!! Awesome engineering and thoughts put into this build. You used just about every option you had built into the truck! 4 wheel steer, welder, side winches great job love the videos. I had to do a really tough recovery very recently but I got it done with some things I learned from you Matt!
I believe this was one of the best recovery videos yet. Amazing maneuverability around those rocks. This is what the wrecker was designed and built for! Outstanding job guys and gals!👍
Just found your channel. I was a recovery mechanic in the army for 14 years back east in PA and now I live in Santaquin. This is about to be my favorite channel!
This was seriously impressive work. Having seen in person how big that wrecker is, holy cow. Top notch skills on display squeezing in and out of this one.
Hats off to you and your team. This recovery shows how beneficial the heavy wrecker is and congratulations to you for creating such a vehicle. We have done a few recoveries in our time in New Zealand so we can appreciate how much effort went into this one. Working as a team is so important. Love the scenery in your videos. Thank you.
Not only a very skilled recovery. I absolutely love, and I respect you all taking the time to clean up, instead of leaving the smaller pieces in the mountain. Hope everyone is taking care.
I know this was a hard rescue for you Matt, but I gotta say, it's in these situations that you are at your best. It is a joy to watch you solve issues as they arise. Well Done!!!!
This is one of the most impressive/exciting recoveries I've seen. Your wrecker is phenomenal with it's rear steering and rock crawling abilities. I can't imagine another crew accomplishing this without air support of a large helicopter. What an adventure and team! Thanks for taking us along.
Living in South Africa, we have similar open spaces, to which we sometimes escape for recreational pleasure and sometimes pain, when we come undone. We don't ever need to extract ourselves from snow with crawlers because we only have snowfall in highlying mountain peaks, where one of the few roads on a mountain is San Pass which until perhaps 10 years ago didn't even have blacktop, where snowfall sometimes makes the road impassible and the local Basuthu tribesmen use ponies to get about. I thoroughly enjoy your channel and all the inserts. I've lost track of the rebuild on the little yellow Suzuki SJ410. Love it when Lady and Peanut join you on missions. I gather that you and your crew are all people of faith as I've never heard crude language. Keep up the good work and strength to you and your crew.
Just Wow! Incredible recovery, nail-biting drama, fantastic video footage, and some excellent narration from Colby, all in one video. Great Job, guys and gals!
Seeing as how the wheels on the uphill side of the Razr were off the ground much of the time, I'm thinking hauling it up with the two good wheels on the DOWNHILL side would have made wheely-ing it uphill a lot easier and faster.
I've been watching this channel a while and I'd have to say that was one of the gnarliest, and most complicated recoveries I've seen you guys and galls do! Love this channel, keep up the good work
You have to do this because of the challenge. There just isn’t enough money to compensate all those folks for all that effort. Thanks for taking us along. It was a blast. My compliments to all.
I just recently found your channel after watching the joint recovery between you and Dave Sparks. This is the first video I've seen of your tow truck really in action and I'll be honest, this would be nearly impossible for any other rig. First, just getting a tow truck up that trail is impressive enough, but working on that tiny shelf road and all of the off angles that you had to pull is mind blowing. Having the side winches was genius! Wiley Coyote would even be impressed.
As a retired production foreman and firefighter, I applaud the clear division of labor. Teams set to specific tasks to accomplish the overall strategy and objective. A pleasure to watch as always!!❤
It amazes me how well you planned ahead and built the WLORW to exactly fit through the skinny bend on this trail. Makes it 11% better to watch! 👍 Cheers!
I just felt a disturbance in The Force....almost like a million Rory fans crying out "TRAILMATER WOULD HAVE DONE BE....T.....T.......E........R......."
Wow! What a recovery! Great teamwork getting everything handled safely...although there were a few really sketchy moments. Matt, that wrecker is an absolute BEAST! And your driving skills are amazing. To navigate that big rig through such narrow passages was mind boggling. The rear steer and extra side winches saved the day. You guys are amazing! Love your channel. Stay safe out there...
Yeah, pretty much everything Travis said! This recovery felt like the exact reason Matt conceived and the team built this Rig. I can imagine how much more difficult this might have been trying to bring in the MORRvair, the Banana and maybe another rig to accomplish the same job. Well done all around. Just wish Jeffe didn't try to give me a heart attack while he stayed in the drop zone behind the Rzr. :)
The rear steer made all that possible! Awesome recovery guys, and its one of the reasons why I started watching this channel! Also happy that everyone stayed safe and healthy.
Just a thought. If you could carry a cordless roto hammer with say a 1" bit, a few turn in concrete anchors with a eye attached you could make almost infinite attachment points. Large rock surfaces everywhere. With the "screw in" type fasteners you could remove them after with little footprint. A bit easier than always having to find a tree.
Anything to keep in mind is they posted video footage of moving a rock out of the way and the government sent them up there to put it back. Not sure about where they can do what but I'd bet they would get a bunch of trouble for damaging the rocks on a lot of the places they go
@@sweet65mustang Yea but the rock out of the way was a problem, if the rock wasn't there the trail was excessive by vehicles that wasn't supposed to be there. An anchor bolt in a rock to get a vehicle out of the nature is probably easier to get happening.

This was an amazing job and it took about Matt's whole crew to recover this Razor but they got'em out! The Biggest wrecker is so awesome! Well done to Jaymie, Jefe, Rhett, KatetLynn and the rest of the crew. Beautiful scenery and this trail was very challenging!
I'm always blown away by the backdrops you guys have. We have mountains and good hiking here in Maine but there is just something about that unobstructed view you have back west.
I used to live in Hurricane years ago. My back yard bordered the cemetery. The last week of October i took my sons into M.O.R.R. we got some stickers and a tour of the yard. It was awesome what they have going on. Wish I could do something like this.

WoW! What a complex recovery! The whole team did fantastic in all their rolls!! Safety of course is paramount & even though there was a couple of close calls, all's well & ends well!! Good Job everyone!!👍👍
Amazingly difficult recovery! You guys are an amazing team. I've done some sketchy stuff off-road, but this makes my stuff look tame. Great entertainment, and I'm glad everyone made it out safe.
This video is worthy of an Academy Award! It is suspenseful, dramatic, all the elements! The camera work and editing are on a par with the best I've seen. Well done!
That was a tough one. There were times where it felt like the crew was a bit too close to the danger zone for my liking, but its not like I could see a lot of options. Glad you got the job done safely!
You guys (& girls) are amazing. Great drone shots. Tom looks so much younger and sharp without the beard. So happy no one was injured during the recovery. I would love to visit y'all someday. Thanks for posting!
Absolutely the best Video. I looked liked you needed all the tools in your tool box for that one. Great team and wow what a tow truck. Best ever. Great job
That 4 wheel steering is the cats meow! Now if you had a way to tilt the body it would make it super slick and give you more control around those massive rocks and would even assist when you are on really uneven surfaces. I have seen the hydraulics they put on those low riders and they make some super robust systems. Might be worth looking into.
I really enjoyed this episode 👍🏻 Road & drone shots w music. Tight passages, nice rear axle steering and good teamwork. Happy the mishaps turned out well 😅
What makes this whole team and channel fun to watch for me is the “family” business with good hired employees. I’m sure there are unfilmed discussions and maybe arguments but probably not like I’ve seen in the corporate world. Why I watch MORR and TrailMater for my Utah scenery and awesome 4x4 rigs. No need to ever do it myself I can just watch these guys in hi def. ❤
You know what’s great about this channel? I could see this being a discovery channel show like ice road truckers - but then it’d be filled with all of that drama (folks yelling to a cut, personal drama of them getting upset, etc, and whatever). This has none of that and it makes it great. It’s a mostly calm, straightforward, easy watching show featuring a cool headed boss and (mostly) responsible employees (unless they forget the keys). I love y’all, keep this up. I hope our ad revenue brings y’all great riches.
As others have said an awesome recovery! The team work and creativity among your crew is impressive, and the video capture and editing was top-notch. There certainly were a few 🙄scary moments though! Nancy was watching this one over my shoulder and she thought your teen son showing up at lunchtime was predictable! I will sit back and watch this one again!
I only started watching your channel this last month. I was watching a HeavyDsparks video and you were in it. I had to watch your channel and subscribe, because of your personality. The first 10 or so videos I have been watching I am thinking 🤔 wow this is pretty good content and the TEAM is lead by a BOSS that I dreamt of working for these last 58 years of my life. You are so CALM and AN AMAZING LEADER. And that still applies 100% . But after this video, I am SIMPLY AMAZED by your driving skills and your ability to make very serious and sometimes life threatening decisions. Your THOUGHT PROCESS is in my opinion second to none when it comes to knowing how to recover vehicles in these to me IMPOSSIBLE SITUATIONS. Keep up the great leadership and stay safe.

I believe you've found the elixir for Eternal Youth and it's awesome that wether you know it or not you're teaching a many good lessons to many people.
To do something you like, are good at and effects other's in a positive way should be the place we all are reaching for.

Great job! That RZR stood up to the fall pretty well. It's still almost the same shape!
WoW! What a complex recovery! The whole team did fantastic in all their rolls!! Safety of course is paramount & even though there was a couple of close calls, all's well & ends well!! Good Job everyone!!👍👍
That was pretty crazy. Glad nobody got hurt and it's all good!
Great crew!! great episode!!
The MOST nerve racking MORR recovery thus far! I'm so stressed and yet happy to watch y'all do your craft.
Tough recovery. You all worked very hard and got them out. Good Job MORR Crew.
Love watching the team work on these precarious, technically complex recoveries!!
Hats off to the recovery team once again! Good job to every one involved. Every one made it home safe.
You guys (& girls) are amazing. Great drone shots. Tom looks so much younger and sharp without the beard. So happy no one was injured during the recovery. I would love to visit y'all someday. Thanks for posting!
That was exhausting to watch. Crazy recovery! Unbelievable work
This was one of your best videos in a while. Showing that y’all are capable of doing anything you set your minds too. Great job!!!!
Nicely done folks. Great camera work, editing, and a thoroughly enjoyable recovery.
Absolutely the best Video. I looked liked you needed all the tools in your tool box for that one. Great team and wow what a tow truck. Best ever. Great job
An amazing recovery - an incredible team - and you are all enjoying what the job is. Good times.
Unbelievable recovery you guys.....mighty tight conditions !!!...... everyone did their part amazing !!..... thanks for sharing this
That 4 wheel steering is the cats meow!
Happy the mishaps turned out well 😅
Whoah!! This was probably the toughest job I've seen you guys pull off. Awesome video! Hats off to the entire team and Mat's leadership 👍🏼👍🏼
This was purely epic. Absolute 10/10. That part sround the rock with the tree right in cliff edge...felt sketchy from HERE... good lord
That For Sure Was One of Your MOST HARD & CRAZY RECOVERY I'VE SEEN YOU DO, &
GREAT JOB To You & Your Team !!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing recovery, I never seen anything like this. I was holding my breath until you got on the road. Amazing teamwork. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!
I Like To Watch You Work.Stay Humble.Stay Prayerful.
This has been the most consistent YT channel over the years. A testament to Matt's and the team's work ethic
The drone made some really nice perspective and scenery shots.
That Wrecker is just amazing! And so are the operators.
Now thats a recovery! And great teamwork as well.
Fantastic recovery. True wisdom and experience, using rocks under the tires to avoid body damage.
This was intense! Amazing job Matt and crew. This is the most difficult job I’ve seen you guys do. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
