Last time we were at Aulani, Makahiki character Dining was not open so we couldn't wait to see what it was all about! This experience was probably our favorite character breakfast we have ever done at Disney and one that we both highly recommend that you check out on your Aulani vacation. After breakfast we went in the lazy river, checked out the Ko Olina Lagoon, ate lunch at Mama's Snack Stop, enjoyed shave ice, and ended the night with amazing sunset views. I love watching you guys meet all the characters, but the whole time yall were talking to chip or dale, i had the biggest smile😂 so fun. My mom still has my autograph books from when i was a kid, and meeting the characters was always my favorite🎉🎉

I can totally see the appeal of the snorkel experience as it it can be scary for some people in the ocean. but seeing humunukuapua in the ocean next to a turtle and 1000s more other fishies all around. but i get it I've been with people that couldn't relax because they feared a tiger would come. Tiger shark that is! great vlog guys! thanks
I never realized how bittersweet I would find watching these vlogs…Just SUCH a special place to get to spend your vacation in, isn’t it?! REALLY can’t afford to come back to stay overnight there but we will be going back to Hawaii for a couple of nights on the way to New Zealand in April 2024 and we will probably swing by just to get to spend a couple of hours walking around…I really miss the place..
Surprisingly we found on this trip that aulani was the same price as a lot of the other hotels
@@OrdinaryAdventures We kind of burned through our “luxury travel” budget for a WHILE back in May (we had a 2 bedroom villa for six nights, and, well, lets just say I could’ve paid our rent for about FOUR MONTHS for what the room cost!)
Thank you, a very nice video. Beautiful, positive and enjoyable. I may never make it to Aulani or even Hawaii, but it's lovely to see you both enjoy your adventure there. It's also very nice to see your relationship on display. I don't know how ordinary it is to get to Aulani, but it's nice to see ordinary people going there.

36:59 we call that "raspado" in México, we serve it here in plastic bag or plastic cup with a straw and the flavors too many like tamarindo, eggnog, strawberry, piña colada and you can add chili powder or condensed milk too

Love the sea creatures in the rock carvings. The new Fantasy Springs area of Tokyo DisneySea will have carvings of Disney characters in their rock work.
I did the character dining at Aulani this year, and I agree it was the Best experience with my little one. Lots of characters, the food was good. and the characters spend time with you, it’s really terrific.
We loved it. My only complaint is I with it were tapas style where you get to choose a few small dishes to try a bunch of different stuff.

7:40…if they’re the same straws they had when we were there in May, they’re a brand of straws called “Phade” brand ( which you can get on Amazon, not too expensive either) and they are made from the waste product fibers they have to strip away from sugarcane when the cane is being processed, so something good ( and biodegradable) from what was Essentially waste products that would’ve gone in the trash!

I’m so happy that you were able to go back to Aulani! It brought back so many good memories for me also!! It’s such a magical place! I really hope my family can return one day!! My favorite place was the adult hot tub! I spent a lot of alone time there 😂! We enjoyed the grotto all together and so much relaxation time on the lazy river!! Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!❤

My Dad would even tell us to go in the water! Oceans Yes. Pools No. So grateful to have found your channel! P.S. I live outside of Orlando now and am an AP holder.
