I am an old woman living in the Pacific Northwest of the US.
My dad was an English teacher by day and a gilnetter by night. We set the net then rocked by the waves drank milky tea and listened to Marine band radio.
My brother and I had our own boat spending long days far from shore and bass fishing from a light house at night.
I can no longer do these things but watching you recalls those days of rolling swells and the briny smell of the sea.
    Thank you.

Wonderful to read that John can do that for you with his Video content. He brings back so many of my own childhood seaside memories too. Especially when travels to the North east side of England. His accent reverts a little and gets stronger the closer he gets to his birth town. Being from that neck of the woods myself both the familiar beaches and the Accent take me home for a while 🙂

I very much agree with you. There is a glut of things to choose from and watch......but it's either violent or just nasty dirty or mindlessly stupid and totally aggravating. And then I watch the Fish Locker, and I'll even watch it more than once, and I can just relax and calm down & imagine being there and wishing that RUclips had something like smell a vision so I could smell the sea air as well as seeing and hearing it. I get peace of mind

    Nice one guys 👍
Congratulations on a p.b but the whiting were most impressive to me, monsters!
Always interesting to me that wrasse take lures down south but in 30+ years fishing oop north I've never touched one on a lure that I know of, catch hundreds on prawns and crab so they are there.

I know lads who fish for them specifically with lures up north.

@@TheFishLocker I've never heard anyone catching a wrasse on a lure on Anglesey, I've no doubt if you target them with ragworm, prawn, crab imitation there would be a chance but never on general bass and pollack lures.

That shark with the spurs, is it related to the rays?

They are all related in some way. They are all elasmobranchs.

That huss was huge when you think the record is only 23lb. Keep a note of the GPS and catch him again next year!

As usual great content, I would comment that your new camera is not a patch on the old one it keeps hunting for light, sky is properly exposed however your face is often blacked out, maybe try setting the ISO, take it off auto, just an idea.

I haven’t got time to be changing settings for changing light conditions especially with wet slimy hands. But thank you for the input. 😊👍🏻
