What a great question! I'm sure you could. You could make a slurry with flour. I have not tried it but if he is diabetic you might want to try oat flour. You can actually make that in a food processor by grinding the oats. Please let me know what you end of doing and how it turned out. Thank you!
Thx for the recipe. I do pork shoulder roasted …9 lbs bone in. I sear meat side not fat, then inject some apple cider vinegar. I pour beef broth in roasting pan, more cider vinegar and put it in oven at 450 for 25 minutes. After this I turn heat to 225 for 8 hours. Serve it with sauerkraut. Delicious.
Never preheat that enameled pan while it’s empty. I ruined one doing that. Le Creuset suggests you have something in the pan to absorb the heat. My coating popped right off the pan because I heated it while empty. Don’t do what I did. They were good enough to replace it and give me a new one even though I’m the one that fucked it up.
Thank you for watching, trying and letting me know how you liked it!! I really appreciate it. It is always a big hit in our home too!! Glad you enjoyed!😊

I gotta try this recipe, I love Sauerkraut and I love Pork roasts.
There would be no left overs. Love them both as well.
That looks like more than 3/4 cups of sauerkraut is the recipe in the description a misprint
You are correct. Thank you for noticing this error. it should be 2-3 cups.
When thickening the sauce, do I have any other options besides corn starch? My boyfriend is diabetic.
