I am almost 20 years divorced, separated 5 years prior. I got married as a backslidden Children/prodigal. Married at the age of 22 and I am now 52. When I tell you this is right here is ACCURATE!!! Please accept this godly counsel and save yourselves devastation and heartbreak unnecessarily!
This was so good!!! I am 54 and have been married for 22 years ONLY by the grace of God….cause honey we did it all wrong. Please don’t think that what I have is a license to think it’s ok to move outside of Gods will. When I tell you it was stupid, crazy, I thought I was going to lose my mind hard, that is no exaggeration AT ALL. Marriage is already hard. When you do it wrong, baby! LISTEN!!! Stop right now, fall prostrate before the Lord, submit to His will and do it right!!!!! No matter how inconvenient it may be to fix how you are moving, IT IS WORTH IT, but even more important than that is Gods will. Obey GOD! Malissa!!!! Do a part two and maybe interview a couple that did it wrong, but got on track with God, because that is a lot of people’s story in these crazy, disobedient days. My husband and I are warring right now in prayer and fasting for one of our children and we know for a fact that her struggles were birthed out of our disobedience. I’m telling yawl OBEY GOD!!!!! Honey, you may have to do a 10-12 part series.
You have such an anointing on premarital preparation for marriage. I have never heard anyone minister in this way. A lot of revelation, in doing things God's way. I will be praying for all the details. This is a blessing I receive God's truth, thank you.
I must admit, a lot of this I am struggling with! A lot of this I am uncomfortable with. I realize that I honestly have a perverted and unrealistic view of marriage! Pray for me that by the Holy Spirit and wisdom of God that my mind be renewed concerning this! Lord make me holy and righteous like you!😭😭😭😭

No I meant what I said. Marriage is difficult and hard. The same way the “narrow way” is described as difficult and hard. That is the truth. Marriage being beautiful has nothing to do with it being difficult. Both are true. And I serve the Lord in Spirit and Truth. This is the reason so many singles are expecting perfection because people do not tell the truth and explain counting the cost. If Jesus explains walking with him as difficult and hard that is what it is. God bless you.

Can you discuss pre-nups during the courtship process in a Godly union? Quite a few horror stories out there of one person changing their mind after marriage .
Sadly, ALL my counterfeits have been very intentional, offering marriage on first date (organised by church elders, who also believed he was my husband) or expressing their desire to marry within weeks or months of knowing me. My guess is the devil heard that it was either marriage or they can keep it moving. With exception of the the first, the others were "Ronaldos."
And please discuss being with someone we had a sexual relationship with. I don't believe God will put someone with a person from my past . All things are made new , it will be someone we / I don't know. Am I right or wrong?

Why are you not close to those that you are in community with? Have you asked the Lord if that is the church He has called you to? The Lord always provides community if we yield to Him.
