Strange knew the Ancient One would absolute never give up the time stone under normal circumstances. Him willingly handing over the stone, as the Sorcerer Supreme, its chief sworn protector, baffled her. In actuality, Strange takes his duty to protect the stone above all other things. Her portrayed as the ancient one is goat, especially these scenes, that twinkling, the realization after Bruce talking about Strange giving away the time stone, damn she's good
Yes, because when the hulk is able to keep getting up and fighting after getting sent through an entire skyscraper, you’d have to actually be negative IQ to think purple man can beat him in 5 seconds because “owie he hit me really hard 🥺” The ancient one tho? We’ve actually seen how this ability works in the doctor strange movie. We know that she could ALSO leave him trapped in another dimension unable to come back, and we ALSO know that the time stone would allow her to win in even more ways that we can’t even imagine
But even past all of that, we can STILL go into how unbearably stupid the plot of infinity war is, because had the ancient one fought thanos? But because the writers for infinity war were so terribly lackluster in creativity, thanos actually created even MORE plot holes just so marvel could create another movie Infinity war isn’t even remotely believable still to this day.
You can see her anxiety clearly. On hindsight, she must have known when they mess with time they would get messed by time and who know would it turn out good or bad.
Remember she has the time stone, she can see into all possible futures, so likely she saw Thanos taking over the universe since Strange said only 1 timeline had Thanos losing

well he needed tony for endgame to happen and for tony to die so they can win and thanos lose, so he traded the stone to thanos in order to save tony (before he gives the stone, thanos was gonna kill tony)
They had to put up a fake fight coz strange didn't wanted Thanos to believe that he is getting time stone for free. If they had given Thanos time stone for free than he would have become suspicious and could have used time stone like Dr strange to see alternate futures which Dr strange didn't wanted to happen so he made Thanos believe that he is getting the stone only after a big fight and that too in exchange of life of Tony stark.
She pushed hulk and soul came out of Bruce banner, his clothes, his watch, pant and his shoes. Although hulk is in shorts, but his soul is fully dressed up.
I mean I wanted to see Mark Ruffalo shirtless too but I guess they felt it would be a quite distracting so they had him in clothes. Also, it is possible that this is how he pictures himself to look so his soul would reflect that.
I like how we didn't know she was around killing chitari, however its spelled, while the Avengers were doing their thing. It would have been real interesting if she just happened to show up with Wong and a bunch of others to help kick butt during the Avengers movie.
Separating Bruce from the Hulk should have resulted in a kickin' fight scene where the Ancient One fought an unrestrained angry Hulk, not Bruce begging desperately for the Ancient One to see reason.
That would be interesting but remember, the hulk is not a separate entity, he's the physical embodiment of Banner's anger. That means the only soul that could be pushed out would be Bruce's.

Yes sir
Her acting is other worldly
Ancient one should have go with Bruce instead and help the Avengers fight Thanos 😂jst saying. Ignore
I like how we didn't know she was around killing chitari, however its spelled, while the Avengers were doing their thing. It would have been real interesting if she just happened to show up with Wong and a bunch of others to help kick butt during the Avengers movie.
i was really hoping when she pushed out banner the hulk would come free...... they really lobotomized the hulk marvel done killed him off screen
Props to Strange for performing surgery during a major, possibly world enging alien crisis.
so i guess no one is gonna mention that weird ass outro????
Separating Bruce from the Hulk should have resulted in a kickin' fight scene where the Ancient One fought an unrestrained angry Hulk, not Bruce begging desperately for the Ancient One to see reason.
That would be interesting but remember, the hulk is not a separate entity, he's the physical embodiment of Banner's anger. That means the only soul that could be pushed out would be Bruce's.
Yes but at this point Banner had already merged with Hulk
Reminder that this is the same timeline that Loki escapes using the Tesseract, thus causing the entire branched timeline to be pruned
If she isn't dead by Alioth, Ancient One would be fuming mad at the Avengers
We still don't know how pruning works, and how people in the pruned universe felt
@@caffemocca8855 "We still don't know how pruning works" Clearly you didn't watch Loki Season 1. Renslayer blatantly says when something is "pruned", including branched timelines, the matter is transferred to the Void at the End of Time, mainly since they can't destroy all matter in a branched timeline
People like Ancient One count as matter, and she was part of a branched timeline
And that scene is a reason why Ancient One don't accept Dr.Strange at first but at a same time she knew Doctor Strange meant to be a best Supreme Sorcerer, Dr.Strange knew exactly what he doing, i could have imagine Dr.Strange reaction when he found out Dr.Strange is a reason why Ancient One don't accept him at first
What an amazing actress. The change of emotions speaks in har face and eyes. Trully talented actress
0:56 I just now noticed that the Ancient One put Hulk's body in a position so it looks like he's taking a nap, complete with a cute little sun hat lol.
She could play an aweosme Saitama if they ever make a Live Action One Punch Man.
If the Stones are somewhat sentient as mold the time stream, does that mean they support Thanos' cause ? Or were they thinking beyond him ? A plan related to the multiverse ?
I like how instead of the plot-line having anything to do with the Time Stone having to do with Time
She goes on to say "we need it because it's a useful weapon"
2:27 How does Banner know what Doctor Strange did to the Time Stone? Remember, Banner was in Earth, especially Wakanda with the Avengers while Strange was on Titan with Tony, Parker, Quill, Mantis, and Drax.
there was a lot of talk prior to preparing for time travel
in one of the talks, Tony, Widow and Banner were talking about Dr. Strange
so its a possibility Tony could've talked about the events in Titan.
Because Thanos got it? He snapped?
It's because Tony and Nebula told Bruce
@ZAP GAMERZ I'd prefer dumb questions over bitter folks like you
@ZAP GAMERZ What you call "Most basic detail" is something that is not shown in the movie. And the viewer has to assume. Spend less time behind a screen, buddy
Hit once only but..
What kind of energy...?
She knocked his soul onto the astral plane, causing his body to become a vegetable for as long as the soul is absent
She did the same thing to strange when they first met
Now i wanna see the time when cap return the stone
Like Hulk just go 2 second later cap came said "we won, here's the time stone back have a great day" 🤣🤣🤣
My favorite scene of this movie. She's a Bad Ass!!
Well in DC the multiverse is explain with a couple of Spaghetti... What a mess!
Doesnt this reality end up being a branch anyways because of what happened with Loki?
Imagine Doctor Strange teaching ALL the avenger how to knock the life force out of others.
LOL that's a good point, it's not like you have to be born with those abilities or anything, the movies showed that it's just practice, so anyone can do it.
Question is : How bruce banner is in shirt and pant after in soul 😢? Even hulk is not wearing any shirt 😐
I always thought this was such a strong scene!
