It’s a moment in time that cannot be changed or stopped without destroying the timeline. But Strange won’t be stopped and so begins to look for the mysterious Library of Cagliostro. The Ancient One could have just asked: "lose Christine or lose full control of your hands?". Probably two absolute point right there.
Well no because this Strange would’ve picked his hands and been with Christine and wouldn’t become sorcerer supreme.
@@REDANDSILVER741 True he'd probably deepen his bond with Cristine if he does lose his hand since she'd be there to support him
What if Is just action focused series rather than lore focused
As u saying, I'm really curious what's she's offering when strange seek teaching to kamar taj so he could revive Christine
Our strange seeks teaching to kamar taj so he could get both of his hands back
I think every universe has a different, fraction of a different absolute points. The absolute point for Strange Supreme's universe is him losing Christine, whereas the absolute point for 616 is him losing control of his hands. The Ancient One can't simply swap absolute points for one another as it is a constant to their respective universes.
@@3takoyakis Perhaps, however, maybe each universe has its absolute points. Maybe he could've gone to our main universe, which has different absolute points, he would have to deal with our Strange and the consequences of that
Ironically had this Strange not done what he did, Ultron would had won and destroyed the multiverse. So the absolute point wasn't so Strange could beat Dormamu, it was so he could help beat Ultron.
well actually no. for the record what ultron did to the Watcher was unexpected for some reason like the Watcher said. And also those interactions between all universe to help defeat ultron was something that shouldnt happen imo. I do believe what the watcher experienced back when ultron realizing of his existence was something that related to what loki did to the He who Remains but its just my speculation
@@hansalghifay2126 The watcher isn't exactly high in the celestial chain of command, so him not expecting Ultron is not really shocking. And had it not been for the existence of Strange Supreme Ultron would had won, so my point still stands.
The designs of the universe is beyond even the watchers.
@@salamander8055 well i just wanna open discuss wirh u. how can u know he is not in the high celestial command i mean its mcu general tho not in comic related based. like when i watched What If, The watcher always mentioning that he's been doing it for a long time and as a series timeline what loki did to the He who remains must be have some correlation or impact to the other universes aswell don't you think? i feel like the point of what if series was basically if the story was written or done differentlyi another universes. what happened there was not just what if but flip flop story between one universes and another that actually shouldn't happening unless there is something else trigger the event.
@@hansalghifay2126 Because comics. And just because The Watcher doesn't know about Ultron doesn't mean I was wrong.
It's not hard to figure out about this stuff.
@@salamander8055 And its not that hard to understand that the events of ultron wasn't expected and was not supposed to happen.
What people dont realize. His universe was meant to be destroyed. Otherwise he wouldnt have become strange supreme and he wouldnt be strong enough to help stop ultron on destroying all realities.
I don’t know if it as meant to be destroyed but because it was destroyed it did help later on
he became strong and powerful "before" the universe was destroyed. he proceeded to break an absolute point in time which could have been avoided if he's not so blinded. he's too focused on breaking an absolute point to undo Christine's death when he could have recreated her with the power he had.
he could have all the power he obtained and there could've been an actual reason why Strange helped. if it ended with him recreating Christine, he would've reason to save the Multiverse so he won't lose Christine again.
it's still the best episode tho.
@@themanonwheels.1890 would have* not would've. Would've requires a verb immediately after. Youre welcome.
@@rotyler2177 Politely disagree.
So... His "canon event"?
Logically, he can bring back Christine using the same trick the Avengers did with the infinity stones in End Game. Step 1: Magically produce a perfect copy of a dead Christine. Step 2: Using the time stone, covertly go back to the past and seamlessly replace the living Christine mid-car-crash with the dead Christine copy. Step 3: Bring the living Christine to the present.
This way, he can get Christine back, but also the past Doctor Strange will believe Christine is truly dead and will still undergo the same grief and experiences that led him to becoming the Sorcerer Supreme.
Chrono Trigger did that back in the day. Regardless you can't do X until the writers change their minds and say you can. That is all that matters in comics. Applying logic is a lost cause to writers who write based on popularity and not respect for the work.
If he could get his hands on a pym particle he actually could
@@detritus3676 Until the TVA find out and he gets his ass canned
Apparently the time traveling was suppose in the timeline.
Tf? This is literally steins gate. The fact that we also have a Christine here 🤣
"But you could go into the multiverse and find a dimension where their Dr. Stange died."
And cause an incursion lol
@@akhileshnair1244 ig that doesn't cause incursion, using the darkhold does.
@@mullybaguire1842 nah i think darkhold is just one of the ways you can dreamwalk.. dreamwalking causes incursion.. if strange geta strong enough to do it without any darkhold it could still cause an incursion
Rick and Morty option
@@akhileshnair1244 why did watcher let black widow go into a universe that doesn't have natasha wouldn't that cause an incursion too but why did he let her
“Absolute Point”, “Fixed Point”. Does the Ancient One watch Doctor Who?
Fixed point is a mathematical term
@@subjekt5577 yeah the doctor made that mathematical term
@@Some_Fucker No he didn't.
@@danielwilson7193 yeah he did got any proof saying he didn’t?
@@Some_Fucker google a lil bit and study outside media geez, it's been around before you even were born
If Strange is so smart and knows about "Absolute/Fixed Point", why not make his past self believe Christine is dead but hide Cristine away and have her return at the time where Strange decides to screw the rules? That way, his has reasons to make himself a sorcerer at the same time not breaking the Absolute Point.
Ngl that’s a good point but I don’t think it works like the fixed point from doctor who so no outsmarting like that
@@nova260q7 lol like how river song "killed" The Doctor?
Interesting to note is that an anime about time travel already explored that loophole in absolute points. Good thinking.
@@IsturisMasaya steins gate?

“Are you having car trouble?” 🤣🤣 she’s savage.
Man, I really miss the Ancient One. She was genuinely badass, wholesome, and awesome.
I would say that in every universe - an absolute point is to have Stephen suffer immensely time and time again.
If stephen strange and peter parker have one thing in common, it's that their lives are both absolutely horrendous.
The difference is, dr strange's life is usually Like That because he went and sold his good fortune for a bit more power with which to protect reality. Peter's life is Like That because his luck is just, incomprehensibly horrible.
In one universe, strange loses his dong and he now cannot have fun with christine
@@danieljames1868 It's Peter's moral that make his life harder. Batman and Spiderman just fight, catch and send villains to jail, so they can come out and do crimes again.
Literally this clip is what happen in Spiderman: Across the spiderverse. Change a "absolute point/ canon event" can cause catastrophic destruction of reality.
Not really. A canon event can be stopped normally (Miles saved that dude's uncle), while strange had to consume a portion of shumagorath.
Oh wow I didn’t even consider that
She was very empathetic and she did warn him, but not with enough gravity. She could have said "just because everything is possible doesn't mean it should be done or that there won't be a price. This path leads only to darkness and the end of this reality, alongside countless innocents and yes, Christine too would cease to exist. It doesn't mean you won't find new light in your life, so please give the future a chance".
How many of us never found a new light even 10 or 20 years after. Nonsense.
And then ultron would destroy the multiverse 😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣@@centurionpan3400
Doesn't make for good TV
The worst part? She was right. Nothing worked. Even though he “sort of” brought Christine back, it all unfolded and crashes around him. Not even his total willingness to do anything and everything overcame the simple fact that it’s over; she perishes. Crazy to think.
I love how this is basically the same route as wanda
Honestly, I can’t see Strange and Wanda as villains. Ancient One calls Strange Supreme misguided, and I feel that goes for Wanda. Or at least, the ends justify the means.
but ngl what Strange did here is more extreme than Wanda has ever done IMO
@@Judge-1964
Well, tbh, she was literally created by Chthon to control the Multiverse after he was banished by his enemies. So she was literally destined to help Chthon. But I guess Chthon made a huge mistake by making such a mentally unstable Woman his servant or maybe he intended it?
Either way, I don't see how the ends justify the means.
I mean, can’t Steven just stop time before they get hit by the car? Then drag her out of the way. Or put protection spells on her or whatever.
Nah, the universe would always find another way to kill her.
it was stated that her death is an absolute point in time,no matter what dr strange did, death will always find a way to get to her, whereas when strange save her,his universe is destroyed
That would only delay the inevitable fate of Christine in that timeline
she still would've died. Heck, even when nothing goes wrong she died of heart attack at the time they danced
he made sure she wasnt in a car during one attempt and she got a heart attack
Loved the part where they fought
Absolute Point....
So she died in every universe
Except 616, 838 and many more
Every universe has it's own unique absolute point
This universe strange loves christine more than he "always holding the knife"
They never meant for each other that's also the absolute point time in every Universe
this strange manipulating time not multiverse. In this universe, strange lost christine not his hands
Its absolute point in Time, not an absolute point in Multiverse.
Absolute point in Multiverse is like Spiderman, spiderman will always lose their loved ones.
That beam move she used at 1:42 was epic as hell, strange should have used it against Wanda.
He did use a beam on wanda but it failed..
Strange didn't read books😅that why so it teaches us that we should acquire knowledge as large as possible
0:03 when that 5 dollar chalupa box from Taco Bell starts coming out the other end
Ancient One: "Your girlfriend's death is a canon event"
Dr. Strange's absolute point is to lost something precious and important to him so that he can suffer and suffer.
Wether it's what if universe strange, Collapsed Universe Dr. strange, Illuminati Strange and 616 Strange.
He isn't free from pain since he was introduced in mcu.
Instead of trying to stop Christine from dying, why didn’t he just bring her back afterward in the current time without changing the past thus not breaking the universe?
Steins gate watcher spotted!
She would probably die somehow when she gets to the present, thus repeating the cycle
@@r.jguerra5526 that depends. If the absolute point is "Christine Palmer's death" then she will definitely die, but,
If the absolute point is "Strange "observes" Christine Palmer's death", then OP's method might work.
@@RintarouZero In one of outcomes Strange experienced, he didn't show up to his date in the first place, but he still saw Christine's death on the news moments later.
@@r.jguerra5526 But Strange still "observed" the news of her death. Even if her death would have been faked, he still saw her death on the news.
If he had realised the idea that he could now give his other self this fake news of her death, he would change to another reality where Christine is reportedly dead but not really dead.
In episode 4 however no such such realisation strucks our Strange, also he doesn't have any way such that 2 dr strange(s) exist simultaneously in the same time.
For the OP' s suggestion to work, there should, at the time the news is being delivered, 2 Strange (s), one watching the news, and other who made some effort to conjure up a fake news of her death and remembers "observing" this change in the past, should be present.
When he returns to his own time, he is in a different reality than that of Ep4, and strange supreme is never born.
He essentially requires a physical form of time travel, not just rewinding time with the time stone.
Love the part in these videos where the editing is all jacked up. Absolute chills.
why did he try to prevent her death from happening he could’ve just used magic to resurrect her back to life or use the time stone to reverse her injuries like how thanos brought vision back
If he'd done that, the end result would be the same. She has to die regardless of what is changed before or after, plus something or someone will always try to kill her because she was never meant to exist beyond that point in time within that universe.
Like he did with that apple and like the book's missing page he brought back?
@@shreenikethanvk9306 The apple: yes, it was still likely he would have eaten it as we see him revert it back to its original state (Before the eating).
As for the book page, it's a little different: Given that he had changed the page to back before it was torn out, it now exists in two places at once, one with Kaecillius and another the library. As the page is now back in the book but also still in Kaecillius's hands, the spell page is now a Time Anomaly.
(Existing in two places in the same timeline where it shouldn't exist at all).
@@constantine.726 Hence the weird prism thing appearing in front of him, then vanishing the moment he dropped the magic.
@@michaelgross9734 Yes, since the page existed where and when it shouldn't, time was spintering and shattering (Like a prism) but by dropping the magic the page disappeared fixing time and sending it back to when it should be in the process.
So she knew he could reverse an absolute point and she also knew that it would destroy their universe
He should've used the darkhold or get help from Wanda because Chaos magic can break all boundaries in the comics
But a great consequence,Darkhold can only bring the madness and losses sanity
crono trigger already solved this problem, Decoy at moment of death then pull the victim to future where you Heal/save them. easy peasy
Actually if he can come up with a paradox how about a time distortion a rift in time for example in some places in earth or rather in other planets the timezones works different because of the orbit and geometrical patterns creating e.m waves and at some point time works differently in various places what I meant is create a temporary space where he can live alongside Christine that despite knowing she will die afterwards he can spend as much time with her as much as he wants
The extra-dimensional horrors are terrifying.

@@vatsalsrivastav5195 When he was first introduced, Tao was an old Tibetan man. His visuals were basically the stereotype that people had of Asian "sages" (i.e long beards, bushy eyebrows, etc.) Kevin Feige stated that the reason why they chose Tilda as the one to play the Ancient One was so that the movie itself wouldn't be offensive to the Asian community, mainly since, being a Tibetan stereotyped character, it would've caused unease in China's theaters.

Couldn't the ancient one have brought her back?? She isn't tied to Christine at all
His universe has to be destroy if it not there will no Strange Supreme to stop Ultron
You know... if Supreme strange knew that if he could acquire all the infinity stones and find a way to use them without it instantly killing him due to the radiation... He could have wished her back. Afterall the only limitations on the wish is that you cannot bring people back from the dead who were used in the process of gaining the infinity stones to begin with.
Did look it up to so basically that could have been his only decent way of making it work since conventional sorcery wont allow him. But also does make me wonder... what then would or could he use to sacrifice to the soul stone. Afterall the one and only thing he cherished more than his own sanity had died in that car crash... so what else would be left?
His hands.
Why does he have to personally go back in time to save Christine? He can just turn Christine’s corpse back in time to revive her same way he did with an apple.
It because apple doesn't have a soul while Christine is a human she have a soul,If doctor strange use time stone bring her back like apple as the corpse it won't use,Since the soul are important not the body.

How about Wanda vs the ancient one?
It’s a canon event.
This Steven can just lie to himself that he thought she die and make himself forgot she was alive until the moment he was trying to get her in future. So technically she was alive but he forgot because he did it to himself so the future will not change and her lover would be still alive.

This episode breaks the lore the only ways to do timetravel is with the timestone or the pimp particel she had nothing and she cant see past her death and why didnt the TVA erase both Timelines and Arrestet her?
The events of this show happen after Sylvie kills he who remains which causes the scared timeline to branch into multiple timelines
This doesn’t work like the MCU
If Strange changes the past, the timeline splits so one reality Christine lives, the other she doesn’t. That’s how it should be

If Miguel had showed up instead of the Ancient One, this wouldn't have happened.
Seriously, between this and Endgame, clearly this woman cannot be trusted with multiverse power. Mads Mikelson was right.
Why not? In endgame she shared the Time Stone and here she cast this spell that allows a chance for the other doctor strange.
Why don't the doctor strange semi kill her like put her in endless sleep and remove her soul and wake her up in present time
“You can’t prevent her death”
Okay, calling BS, but ‘unknowable cosmic forces’, I’ll buy it for now.
Are we forgetting that this is the Marvel Universe though? Coming back from the dead is like a road trip for them, and he’s the Sorcerer Supreme. Fix up the body and call back the soul. If the ‘undo’ key isn’t working, then write a correcting follow-up.
Why don't he just reverse everything with the time stone
