“It’s so quiet.” His instant personality change is so real when you have emotional issues, sometimes you just want all the noise to stop. That made me really happy.
It’s revealed behind the scenes that Willem Defoe wore dental prosthetics whenever he would play Norman Osborne and then he would take them off whenever he’s the goblin. So it’s actually Norman the whole time and the goblin isn’t in the scene.
Ngl, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I liked Doc Ock more than Green Goblin by a very slight margin. Still like Green Goblin, but Doc Ock is up top for me
Man, day 1 of this in theaters, everybody lost it at two things in that one line. 1. "I could go for a burrito" coming from Norman Osborn. 2. Norman Osborn playing with Tony Stark's robotic arm, literal fusion of 2002 and 2008 done masterfully.
Notice at 7:23 Doctor Octavious says "It's so quite.." in a whispered tone possibly because he felt he had to talk louder than the voices he could hear inside his head so once he's cured he no longer has to be the loudest one in the room.
Doctor Octavius still would have sacrificed himself to save New York so there wasn't anything Peter could have done to change his fate. At least Oc got to enjoy his sanity for a little while longer.
@@macroxela We never really got a time scale though, " right before they were about to die" could be anything from the second to second moment before death to occurring during the same day. Though I too think it was when death was imminent, you can't really say for sure. Sending them back to their deaths would kind of negate Peter's whole plane of changing them anyway so I feel like taking the certainty with a grain of salt. ^^
Alfred Molina; his very first role was the guide who betrayed Indiana Jones in the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Didn't end well for his character, who forgot about the booby trap right down the tunnel.
The one thing that truly bugged me about this movie is Dr. Strange claiming all the villains died fighting Spiderman. Which isn't true for Sandman and Connors, hell Sandman was turned back into a villain because of The Goblin and Strange technically
Dr. Strange assumed that they all got pulled before they died, because Sandman said Norman and Otto died fighting Spidey. Also Max didn't remember what happened to him before he was pulled because he was in the grid. In truth, all the villains were pulled the moment they learned Peter was spiderman(because the spelling pulled people who knew this fact). Norman got pulled after he left to kidnap mj on Brooklyn bridge(which is why he was in his suit), Otto learned who Peter was minutes before he died, Lizard learned it in the sewers, and Electro learned it before he was defeated. Sandman learned this when he made peace with Peter over Ben's death. This why Venom was pulled even if he stayed alive, as soon as Eddie accessed the hive mind's memories and potentially learned about a Venom in another universe who fought Tobey.
I don't think great actors like Willem Defoe and Alfred Molina wanted to be bad guys at the end. They had fun but wanted to be better. Sort of the Arnold in Terminator 2.
Watching this scene I can’t help but think that if they ever did a ‘Back to the Future’ remake, that Tom Holland would be the perfect fit for Marty McFly. Just the way he says doc at 7:03.
That was the whole plot point in the first movie, too - when he gets knocked out, they make a big point of showing the chip being damaged, setting up for him to go nuts due to the arms' AI.
When i saw this i could tell ock wanted the cure so did sandman electro and lizard in a way goblin in his mind like oh hell no i got power i gotta think of something quick lol

Tbh this is the dumbest version of spiderman I've ever seen. In first movie, he webs up only one hand of vulture, can't sense that his wingsuit is destroying pillars, let Ned have the "glowy thing" in his backpack which can easily be stolen/misplaces. In second one he gives the billion dollar glasses to a stranger with no known background. In third he AGAIN showcases billion dollar stark tech to unknown stranger spiderman "villains", like seriously how naive you can be to say "this is fabricator, this is arc reactor and this is how it all works" to supervillains walking around free with no holdbacks, especially after what happened in last movie.
@randomfan4966 How many times we can watch the same dumb hero take same dumb decisions so we can have some plot? It's been repeated over and over again the whole trilogy.. I only rewatch the series clips because of iron man, vulture, mysterio, goblin and other 2 spidermen scenes because there's nothing memorable that the main peter did

The actor is Alfred Molina.

The Sandman and Connors are either from different variant universes or the Spiderman had to make some _decisions._
We don't know that Marko and Connors don't revert to their old ways/forms and battle Spidey again past the time of the other movies
