I hate how underrated Ronan the Accuser is like he literally just ended thanos's annoying runt servant like that, who was even a big threat to loki in the 1st Avengers Movie.
I remember Ronan being pretty powerful though and it took a lot to take him out man he’s not really underrated. Just remember this is Thanos. Ronan would likely clap Loki so hard in just a straight up brawl. And Loki was pretty nerfed in the MCU. His Magic was trash, like yeah dr. Strange would be better but not treat him like a toddler in a duel of magic, and he was not that physically strong compared to anyone but normal humans. Like yeah they may as well all be the same strength to “us”, but to each other, the strength differences are also huge.
This is a good scene. You can see that even though Ronan serves Thanos, he’s still a boss and used to being one. Even the way he speaks to Thanos. It’s almost as if he’s saying Thanos screwed it up, and he’s playing around. Which he is. But you get the sense Ronan is used to running his own ship. When Thanos turned his chair around saying he doesn’t take Ronan serious, you can see Ronan see that as a challenge and disrespect. He knows Thanos is more powerful but he’s so ambitious, he sees that difference in strength as temporary. At the end of the day though, Thanos is scary🤣

Maybe even its an ironic gesture. "Sanctuary" was the ultimate place of safety and refuge for a whole star system of beings who put a decent enough fight that Thanos decided to make them an example. Another idea is that it is like Dr Strange's nest in New York. Convergence of magical energies. It was once a wizard sanctuary.
I agree, this was real Mad Titan...not that i didnt like his evolution in Avengers, he was great....But this guy was perfection. I am still sad they took his powers in movies.
I felt the same way. They should’ve stuck with this Thanos throughout, he’s more calculated menacing and intimidating than the one in Infinity war🤷🏻♀️
Kudos to the director and the team who imagined this scene and thanos’s body language, demeanor and everything. I mean you can tell he is the man with power and who’s also incharge. Just a 1 minute scene but so powerful.
The comic book accurate Thanos' story is ass though, and with the way he's so purple i think it would've looked weird on ground since here he's always in space.
Honestly i expected to get more of THIS Thanos in Infinity War. Cold, manacing, mysterious. Kinda like Freeza from DBZ when he was first introduced and everyone was shitless scared of him.
This version of Thanos looked and felt dangerous. Especially when he gave the line about bathing the staways with Roan's blood. Evil may be the word, but threatening is definitely it. Infinity & Endgame he looked more kick back slient.
Mostly because Marvel and likely Disney trying to make him more sympathetic in his reasons for wanting to do the Snap with the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos over here in GotG is more similar to his original comics version.
@theduck2970 I wasn't much of a comic book reader. More of the animation shows (can't wait for XMEN 97).... but Thanos in infinity war, reminded me Homer Simpson

One detail I love in this scene is how Thanos doesn't give a damn that Ronan took out his cocky advisor. He was like, "Good thing I didn't have to shut him up"
I love how Thanos blame Ronan for everything Gamora did wrong.. He even blame Ronan for Gamora having a problem with him😅 Like him murdering her parents has nothing to do with it .
Is it weird that this version of Thanos just scarier? I mean, the deeper voice, the menacing blue eyes, a darker purple for skin tone with the armor, the armor just makes it very nice
I find it awesome that in the beginning of Infinity War he still had this scary arrogant demeanor, but his journey for the stones made him a more humble 'person', like he couldn’t even bring himself to kill the avengers before collecting the mind stone. And snapping his fingers.
Clearly you dont understand infinity war thanos. Thanos deliberately didnt want to kill anyone before he snapped, because he wanted as many people as possible to have their fates to be decided at random by the universe when half of life was erased.
@@kriffapher how is explaining a characters role in a movie count as me being heated? LOL trying to make me look bad for the sake of an argument. Ur the one that decided to waste time argument baiting on the internet.

@@4477superman I much prefer this design than the new one. Thanos in Infinity War and Endgame looked too human for me, and less like a purple alien warlord, covered in gold and blue armor.
So, I know this might be a bit of a stretch, but I have a theory. At 0:13 you see Nebula's surprise about Gamora having different intentions for the orb. In GOTG 2, Nebula tells Gamora, "you left me there while you stole that stone for yourself" - showing that, in this scene here, she's feeling betrayed by Gamora. At first I thought, 'yeah that was a bit of a crap move Gamora' HOWEVER I think I know why she didn't tell Nebula her real plans, after seeing them together in Endgame. You can clearly see they're both on the same page before Thanos arrives - they both don't want Thanos to get all of the stones. Just as Thanos arrives Gamora opens her mouth to say something, and I feel like she may have been about to tell Nebula what she was secretly going to do. But as soon as Thanos comes in and gives them a task, it sends Nebula into competitive mode due to her desperate need to make him proud of her, which Gamora notices and chooses not to tell Nebula as she would probably rat her out to Thanos and get her in trouble in order to one-up her. EDIT: In fact think that's why Nebula tries to kill Gamora in the first film, because she's angry at Gamora for leaving her. In Endgame she didn't seem to want to kill Gamora at all (except at the very end but I sensed some hesitation there anyways).

It's his favorite chair. There's another in the background, but it hates seeing Thanos sitting in it.
I wonder why they didn't show us this sanctuary turf of Thanos in Endgame and Infinity War.
Meanwhile in another timeline, T'Challa somehow convinced this exact same Thanos to give up his evil ways and reform

How true that was and how little we knew
That iconic grin from the comics made this scene that much better.

Thanos: Yea Boi..
Unquestionably the best Thanos design.
Best design, sure.
Best CGI? Hell no.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M I have got to disagree.
I agree, this was real Mad Titan...not that i didnt like his evolution in Avengers, he was great....But this guy was perfection.
I am still sad they took his powers in movies.
been saying this too
The horns that play in the background while Thanos reclines in his throne and grins are fantastic.
0:02 somehow he returned
😂😂
This Thanos design was so much better
1:52 - lol that smirk.
This looks more like canonic Thanos. Extremely intimidating. Calm, collected yet cold and domeenering
They change him too much in the other films.
I felt the same way. They should’ve stuck with this Thanos throughout, he’s more calculated menacing and intimidating than the one in Infinity war🤷🏻♀️
@@Riya_4070 well put
@@Riya_4070 you get that this thanos in end game though
Imagine if we got comic accurate Ronan as well..he'd be around Thanos' size and with a crazy powerful hammer
This Thanos design looks more scarier than 2018-2019. I love it
Kudos to the director and the team who imagined this scene and thanos’s body language, demeanor and everything. I mean you can tell he is the man with power and who’s also incharge. Just a 1 minute scene but so powerful.
0:30 : The Accuser being the The Excuser!
Thanos even looked better and more comic book accurate in this film than in both Infinity War and Endgame. Such a shame.
The comic book accurate Thanos' story is ass though, and with the way he's so purple i think it would've looked weird on ground since here he's always in space.
This thanos really look like his comic version. Not just the design but his characteristic too
Honestly i expected to get more of THIS Thanos in Infinity War. Cold, manacing, mysterious. Kinda like Freeza from DBZ when he was first introduced and everyone was shitless scared of him.
We got this Thanos in Endgame. Literally. It was the Thanos from exactly this time.
Yes but they should've kept the Thanos that already knew the avengers not the one from this film although this version of Thanos is terrifying
0:58 when you try to ask your principal to cancel your detention
Student in Detention: I only ask that you take this matter seriously
Personally I disagree Gotta disagree endgame thanos was about action again infinity war thanos was the kick back one
@@pourdakoolaid What stood for me was this Thanos's smile at the very end. That's an evil smile who knows he'll win no matter what.
No other MCU Thanos's had that.

They should've kept Thanos looking like this. So much more menacing.
The Other: “I can’t believe you’re accusing him … ACCUSER!”
Just imagine how amazing it would have been seeing a fight of Avengers Vs Thanos at the sanctuary
I don't know why the russos didn't show this sanctuary turf of Thanos in Endgame.

@@stephenblack5425 yeah, it was pretty much obvious that Tony saw Thanos murdering them in Age of Ultron at the sanctuary
I love how this cameo works even if you didn’t see The Avengers in a basic “oh he’s working for a big bad guy” way but if you did see The Avengers, it also works in an “oooo that’s the guy Loki was working for.” Way.
His name is literally *the accuser*
Mouth of Thanos: Stop accusing everybody
I love how Ronan continually ignores the Other until he’s screaming in his face and he’s just like “Bruh shut the fuck up”
Ngl they caught me off guard showing Thanos like this in the movie, I didn’t expect it.
Your demeanor is that of a pouty child…

What a speech 10/10!
That poor boy can’t get anyone’s respect 🤣
One detail I love in this scene is how Thanos doesn't give a damn that Ronan took out his cocky advisor.
He was like, "Good thing I didn't have to shut him up"
I love how Thanos blame Ronan for everything Gamora did wrong.. He even blame Ronan for Gamora having a problem with him😅 Like him murdering her parents has nothing to do with it .
It was just his way of saying, "I don't give a fuck about your complaints. We have a deal; do your job."

Is it weird that this version of Thanos just scarier? I mean, the deeper voice, the menacing blue eyes, a darker purple for skin tone with the armor, the armor just makes it very nice
And the horns playing in the background
And you mean to tell me Kang is supposed to be more terrifying than Thanos
maybe thanos kill half universe kang destroy timelines complete multiverse
@@oozarusama yea I mean Kang is more threatening but thanos is more terrifying
Lmao Jesus give it time, they just introduced Kang, there are more variants to come
The scary part is that Kang is just a man in a suit. Hes no different than Iron Man yet he controls the Multiverse
😂😂😂😂😂
Especially when Disney keeps on killing the franchise with DEI
This version of Thanos looks different and certainly seems more menacing.

Infinity War thanos wasn't/isn't bad it's the endgame Thanos
Thanos' smile at the end💀 1:52
I mean a villain like him could sometimes smile like that **gulp**
This is the most comic accurate Thanos design. I don't understand why they changed the CGI model for Infinity War and Endgame. Even the armor design looks different as well especially the helmet.
I liked the glowing eyes, I don't know why they changed it in IW.
This design was cartoonish. “Comic accurate” doesn’t always translate well to movies. The infinity war design was a huge improvement
@@4477superman I much prefer this design than the new one. Thanos in Infinity War and Endgame looked too human for me, and less like a purple alien warlord, covered in gold and blue armor.
@@callmestorm23 sorta the point. To make him more relatable instead if a giant space monster.

man he really changed in Infinity War
It's crazy how Nebula went from here to being an Avenger.
He goes from being written like this to being actually a nice guy who wants to help all of existence and everybody
1:03 At the theater, I've never ever imagined I can see his face, but this..
He showed himself.. THIS scene was pure gold.
I'm surprised thanos even let Ronan get away with that defiant look at the end there.
I always read Thanos' expression at 1:51 as "Yeah, just you come and try to step to this you little B...."
