Marvel studios has done an amazing job on casting. EVERY character is played by the most appropriate actor/actress. Especially Thor and Tony Stark.

Drax and Mantis are so good together - a great comic relief in an action movie that isnt overdone.
At what price? Drax in the comics was a construct whose sole purpose is to destroy Thanos. Mantis... is just there. Making them alien is a good idea; but making them jokes is not, especially with the brand synergy.

Fun fact : Dave Bautista is the highest paid actor in Hollywood history. He's been featured in all of the more than 25 movies marvel has produced, in every single scene, the only thing is that we couldn't see him.

I really need a Drax series. He's been wasted by being played as a joke but he's a badass and has a very heartbreaking story. Him avenging his daughter and wife could've been done more respectfully.

I think the actor's stepping back from the role, unfortunately. He made a post online that sounded very much like "I'm saying goodbye to this character now".

@@ghostk-7926 that's just one of the instances he killed him though there's also that one time when he impaled him... Drax is capable of soloing Thanos, he's literally brought back from the dead by Thanos' dad and granddad just to destroy him
