I love that in Thor ragnorock they let the cast do most of it unscripted. It shows how funny everyone actually is. Plus Thor is more relatable and entertaining.
To be fair that was before he had his eye ripped out, electrocuted, beaten down by Thanos who then killed his friends and brother, and blew up his ship with power stone? Leaving him to die in vacuum of space.
It's a reorcurring thing in fiction and I wonder if it applied to RL to some extend. I remember it from Dragonball for example, they can block bullets in DB and planet-destroying energy-attacks in DBZ, but they can still be hurt by a thrown stone if they don't expect it.
Well Strange came out of nowhere and surprised Thor While the stars power he knew he was going to tank Also, the star nearly killed him and he was showing extreme pain. One more thing, are you hurt more by a slap or a pinch by a person with nails?
I really appreciate how they re-tooled the character. In the comics, Thor is an incredibly serious character. But the MCU made him a sometimes intelligent/other times absent-minded goofball who happens to also be an overpowered demigod

Thor is maybe my favourite character in the MCU. He's so relatable, and considering he's a Norse God and I'm a human Indian woman that's something, but he's awesome. The fact he empathised with Gamora over how rubbish family can be is just indicative of his heart ❤

I really appreciate how they re-tooled the character. In the comics, Thor is an incredibly serious character. But the MCU made him a sometimes intelligent/other times absent-minded goofball who happens to also be an overpowered demigod
