      +sim picheloup F1 race is not even a race why because we already know who is going to win by seeing who is qualify for first place but IMSA sportcar champ or Blancpain endurance or WEC or ADAC is different we don't know who is going to win and what you call it racing same as in this race between qualify position and the winning position is changing drastically but F1 NO NO NO from the beginning and the end same driver same team BORING

    Really enjoyed seeing the split screen with the interior view while following the same car on the track. It allows the viewer to truly see and appreciate how the balance of the car shifts around during various driving maneuvers. Please continue providing these types of opportunities to comprehend why IMSA cars are so exciting to watch!

    I love the fact that they post these events without any commercials and usually within a couple of days. BUT I wish John Heindorf would calm down....maybe he wouldn't mis-speak so frequently. Also, I wish he would learn to pronounce Albuquerque!!!

    Awesome race, was really hoping the 85 could get the win, great result for Mazda! I want them on the top step of the podium! Thanks as always IMSA for putting the races on RUclips, I'm SO glad I never have to deal with Fox again.

  • @JTeam45
    @JTeam45 7 лет назад +1

    As long as IMSA keeps putting full races on RUclips, I'll keep tuning in! Something that F1 hasn't done to my dismay; I bet they'd be earning a lot more if they made their races more accessible to North American fans, especially those of us who don't have cable anymore.

    Thanks for posting. The Moe Rons at FS1 waited for the soccer game to end so we missed the first few laps....you know, an important if not most important part of the race. Thanks FS1. I guess they have a contract to broadcast the entire match...prob should have the same agreement with IMSA.
    Split Screen would work...upper and lower half instead of side by side.

    • @KevinSamp911
      @KevinSamp911 7 лет назад +2

      I was going to go, but the forecast looked to uncertain during the middle of the week to make the drive all the way there. Yes thank you for posting the race so fast here. Comcast in Chicago area doesn't get FS2. So third major city in the states and we don't get it, so would love to know who actually does. I also get blocked on IMSA after the coverage is done on FS1; which makes no sense. Understood Fox can't control games going into extra time that are live events, but IMSA it's time to move on from FOX when the contract is up. Appears soccer > IMSA contract which is sad but true. It's clear they have no interest in covering the sport and helping it grow. Only two channels that I think that might have interest that most cable providers have is NBCSN and CBS Sports. Would still have the ability to get some coverage even on the regular channels especially during the summer now when nothing else is on those networks. Just boggles the mind on how much crap TV there is on out there, but this series can never get decent coverage.
      *EDIT 7/5/17* On second thought forget all the TV Networks. Just do what the WEC does. Just do a paid subscription on your website and be done with it. I would gladly pay $30-50 bucks for the year and call it a day. Get's me that much closer to dropping the ridiculous cable bill that I know so many are doing.

    • @AndrewGeierMelons

      Michael Yachnis - sadly, not everyone can afford this type of thing. The economy is the main factor behind the difficulties that racing is having, in both having fans, and having teams.

    • @SwingAxleLover
      @SwingAxleLover 7 лет назад +1

      Andrew Geier This isn't a thing I would do normally. Circumstance made it possible. I knew someone in the area so I avoided hotel costs too. I just meant that, despite the flight cost, I still thought it was worth it.

    • @AndrewGeierMelons
      @AndrewGeierMelons 7 лет назад

      Michael Yachnis - fair enough, but I don't think it's the race quality that has gone downhill... it's the economy to blame for no one being at the track.

    Great race, especially good to see the prototypes mixing it up! Plenty of The Glen's usual excitement and drama.
    The A/V directing, though, seems to be below par. Time and time again, Hindey and his gang get exited about a battle for position on track, or mention an important overtake that has just happened, and I never get to see it because the live cameras are following a pack of cars just running line astern, and usually it just isn't replayed. This is pretty frustrating.
    As usual, though, this was good sportscar racing, and able to hold my attention for a good long while.

      Anthony Grayson no he's just saying how everything else like a job, family, and pussy can all be taken away in a blink of an eye but sportscar racing brings a form of joy that can't be taken away. To me family, job, pussy, and sports car racing are the most important things in life. Racing is an emotional game it involves sacrifices financially, physically, safety/health, mentally, and emotionally.

    • @Ewane
      @Ewane 4 года назад

      This isn't the case because:
      If you can't afford it, how do you know you have the skill?
      If you have the skill, you must've done an endurance race before, and therefore a chance to get on a development programme, or the money to go endurance racing again.

      i play sims. and have tested my reflex capacity, n practice all the time behind lights, and i've always had a quicker throw off a clutch even at a young age, than my father. learned to drive at around 4 or 5.. was 38th out of 600,000 on forza before i found out they were using bugs to glitch transmissions. anyway. we all know sims don't mean much anymore because of the nerfing that has happened to consoles, but at one point they were used to let a kid race at le mans. n i have been a top level sim player.
