- Hello, thanks for joining me here at Colwich.
For many reasons there hasn’t been much time to work on the layout for the last couple of months.
It’s been a case of grabbing the odd hour (and I mean hour!) where possible!
With the movement of stock being sold on here & there I’ve been able to invest in a couple of sound chips recently, if you’re a regular viewer to the channel you will have heard and seen the Bachmann class 20 strutting her stuff round the layout before, but I’ve been shopping @roadsandrails again!
This time a sound chip has been added to one of my firstly acquired OO locos, Dapols wonderful class 68. It was a tough choice between the DRS liveried model & the stunning TPE version. I went for the former seeing as I’d had the model for quite a few years and thought it deserved the upgrade.
Thrown into the mix is the magnificent Accurascale class 92, although not sound fitted the decoders have recently become available from the manufacturer along with the crew.(I haven’t had time to add them yet)
The loco makes an impressive sight out on the mainline.
There was also a delivery of another pack of MHA’s, which have fitted seamlessly into the existing rake of Hornby / Accurascale wagons. These in time will get graffiti added along with a little weathering, hopefully 🤦♂️😄

Your layout is stunningly realistic with a heavy dose of imagination and effort thrown into it. Your camera angles are perfect as is your entire production that's so inspiring. Great work being done on layouts from the UK 🇬🇧 and they're always inspirational. I've su b subscribed to so many UK based model railway channels that I've lost count as I simply love what you all do. BRAVO!!

The layout is look AMAZING! A piece of art, truly! The new 68 is a great looking addition to the fleet and plenty of other great machines thrown in! Great video!
