Such a great channel, so good to see someone who actually uses their EDC, and promotes real usefulness, rather than showing off expensive toys and pretending to need all those knives, torches and pocket items.
I love how methodical your videos are. You’re thoughtful outlook into what you carry and why is incredibly helpful because you make me step back and think about what I EDC and why and what uses it actually serves for me. A+ content
Love this triple-threat breakdown of your core EDC and specialized modules that you swap in and out whenever your needs and purposes change. Keep 'em coming Maurice!
I followed you starting with a different video, but sometimes I find myself back here to learn more. You're a fascinating dude and I'm so glad you're able to break things down into easily digestible and engaging stories.
You should try out some good flashlights someday. I really like Hank lights (emisar, noctigon), I have also heard lots of great things about Zebra lights and a bunch more. Basically any light on the more expensive side (not expensive, just not shit) is way better than olight. Olights are so blue tinted.
@@dcast777 “just as good” in what way? if you want absolutely bulletproof, reliable Bluetooth pairing and connectivity across any number of devices, nothing comes even close to AirPods. i’d claim that this is a baseline requirement for all wireless sets, otherwise you may as well use a much cheaper and better sounding wired product. I have much better audio gear than AirPods, but I wouldn’t bother with anything else wireless. i hear you, other buds may have bluetooth multipoint pairing, but that is usually limited to 2 devices, handoff between the devices is iffy (ideally the devices would coordinate this instead of the bud like with Apple), and stuff like a random paired device turning BT on or off will often cause stuff to get disconnected or connected to an unexpected thing. the issue is that BT pairing is shit and having a separate protocol to coordinate handoffs is essential for this, so no device will come close unless they can do the same thing.
@@dcast777 have you actually tried to use them SPECIFICALLY in the way I described above? I have, and in this particular department they aren’t even close in terms of reliably holding onto and handing off between 2+ devices. i have had multiple buds including one from Anker Soundcore prior, and they all had some kind of problem. generally they’d work, but fairly regularly something stupid would happen with the connection. they may be cheaper and even better sounding or have better ANC but a core requirement of wireless buds is for them to get connected quickly, stay connected reliably, and hand-off between devices (TV/phone/laptop) seamlessly. otherwise i might as well use wired headphones that will be way better and cheaper. if you only pair them with your phone then you can probably pick whatever.

Tldr: 14 flashlights.

Serious comment, this is one of the best EDC videos I've ever watched on YT! Many thanks indeed!

Great video, just one quick question, what messenger bag do you use at TC 05:30. Cheers
Very informative. How do you reset your MacBook to get most value out of it (when you upgrade)?
Nice breakdown & great video production 👌
(What’s the watch? 🧐)
What inks are loaded in your Safaris?

What happens when you run out of the pages? Do you get new pages get delivered to you in Canada?
Kind of want every item now 😭
What happened with your TN Passport? No longer on your EDC rotation?
Been looking for a Superior Labor pen clip for months. Retailers & mfg all out of stock with no plans to get more. Thoughts on substitutes?
Is there a way to message you about purchasing a speck?
what is your edc for only your pocket?
I really can't wrap my head around how so many people over pay for Apple Air Pods.
Have you tried them? They’ve amazing. What do you use?
@@MsRotorwings Anker makes several sets that are just as good and are a fraction of the price.

@@thebaker8637 They are over priced plastic and the fan boys just eat it up. Half the price you can get a product that works just as well.

Is it just me or does your keychain totally not quite meet the legal definition of brass knuckles? lol
I mean this in the nicest way possible, but your life sounds exhausting to me. Glad you got it handled
