Thanks, guys for sharing what real, every day carries look like. So tired of the instagram EDC posts that showcase stuff that 99% of the population doesn't even have at home, never mind on their person. Refreshing take and glad to know that mine is very similar to all of yours.
Two things I have always carried since 5th grade about 50 years ago: flashlight and pliers. I use both multiple times every day. Flashlights have evolved from small (and feeble) Cub Scout & Boy Scout pocket lights to modern LED torches with lithium batteries. During school years I carried a small pliers and my mother was always repairing pockets in my jeans. Nowadays Tim Leatherman provides outstanding very small multi-tools, which I keep on my keys.
I’m kind of in your direction… my key chain comes has a small flashlight, made in USA. Then a good multi-use pocket knife - I tend to go with Victorinox Swiss Army or Leatherman. I keep a small but strong magnet in the small pocket of my jeans. Clothing articles don’t count as EDC. And if my phone goes in my pocket, it’s on airplane mode - I don’t need the radiation right on my body. I keep a fountain pen as well.
@@lisbetsoda4874 Like what? 1. Kyle's sweater is awesome. If you can please divulge where you acquired it. I'd like to get something similar for my husband for Valentine's Day. 2. The mini travel cologne idea is awesome. I’d look into Peregrine or William Lockie for a nice wool sweater around 100-150 dollars. Compare to a 30% poly RL sweater for 300-400 dollars.

@@gentlemansgazette Of course it's maybe a little flamboyant, but I think a series would with with Raphael presenting a listener question or input, and Kyle, Preston and Nathan giving their own takes on it. My EDCs are also quite basic: Phone, minimalist Wallet similar to Preston's, a waterproof cigarette case, cheap mart lighter, keys, and a pair of wired earphones. I also wear glasses and watches on daily basis too. I also had carried around spare masks, even before the pandemic, because sometimes I just can't stand the fumes in the streets.
I absolutely adore this channel! You have anything and everything about Men's fashion, tips and tricks, definitive guides, and even Menswear History. Albeit there's soooooo many videos, I didn't even know where to begin, luckily the channel's "Favorites" playlist seems to be a good jumping on point to watch Gentlemen's Gazette. Keep up the good work
I was thinking about this subject today. An EDC aligned with modern needs and a classic approach. Im not sure why but a lot of brass colored items come to mind. My take on the subject: slim wallet, tws earphones, knife(slim, small, singleblade and inexpensive), flashlight (lumintop nano in brass color is powerfull and tiny) hand sanitizer, small tissue package and finally a safary lamy pen. My favorite thing about TGG is your take upon balance on items and colors. I decided most of my edc by looking at your content, not directly but using the balance mindset that you convey. Keep the good work TGG team! A request of mine: How to dress like a gentleman will in very hot weather? Im aware of your video in such subject but that weather is concidered nice over here. Im talking 40°C+ kind of heat. I investigated a bit by looking desert related themes, but you either look arabic nomads or indina jones... not true wearability by today standards. I'll love to se TGG take on such hot weather conditions. Greetings from México!
Rule of thumb is, when it comes to extreme case and/or practicality, style goes out of the window. Nobody would blame you for wearing a t-shirt with shorts under the scorching sun in 40° weather
I'm from the Philippines and if there's anything we have in common it'd be venomously hot and humid weather - maybe nastier here too. Personally I'd always wear pants when going out at any cost. Chinos, plain jeans, or even cargo pants are better than shorts for I've found that it keeps you shaded from the sun and keeps you from sweating like a pig - though I would not recommend sweating yourself in such weather in the first place. A T-shirt is fine, but I usually prefer button shirts with long sleeves, also keeps out the sun. Maybe you'd consider a pair of suspenders. They're not as constrictive as a belt and your waist will feel a lot lighter especially in hot weather. Me, I'd wear a hat. No good exposing your face to the sun now.
Since military service I carry a small pocket notepad and a pen with me. A great place to write notes or stuff that are later transfered to my planner, as well as a backup list of my work hours and general doodling. In the military is saved my skin (or rather my dignity) because I tend to forget stuff if I dont write them down. I also carry my passenger card for public transport in a separated case so I dont carry my wallet in my pocket (the wallet is usually buried in my bag since I have my ID in there)
My EDC consists of a small Victorinox pocketknife (Classic SD Alox) , that fits in the small/5th pocket of my trousers, phone, minimal wallet, that contains 2 cards, some bills and coins, id and drivers license, a Parker Jotta ball pen or a Kaweco sport fountain pen, one or two ffp2-masks, individually sealed, and my keys, combined with a verry small flashlight.
Very interesting video! For me its much the same: Phone, Wallet, Watch etc...As of a few months ago I bought a classic Swiss Army Knife. Even for a non-outdoor person it comes in handy for work and daily life more than you think. Better to have than not need I say!
It is interesting just how different your EDC’s are, and what you class as ‘essential’ to your day. This can only be good for the channel to ensure that together the content can apply to everyone. Great video as always
nathan and i have the whole watch thing in common, so good on y'all for having someone that can represent! also thanks to him for the yurman reference---my jewelry store will order one of those for me. cheers gents!
I know right! I liked the EDC of the first three hosts but it didn’t quite represent my EDC. I was pleasantly surprised that Nathan’s EDC represented more of what I carried. Liking him so far!
Man, I always love seeing what things other people bring around with them. Personally I have a watch (one of those older ones), a notebook/pen (travelers), a small pocket knife ( laguiole style), brass zippo, wallet, and phone. Thinking of switching to a thinner clip instead of the wallet, because depending on the jacket, it can be pretty bulky. Also recently a mask and sanitizer, because...well....
Wow! Im liking the new Nathan guy! He carries a knife and a wrist watch, I do too! And he carries the notebook! Something I do as well. Personally my EDC is more similar to his than the other hosts. The pen? The water bottle? Very similar to my taste. Nice to have him represent different segments of EDC. Great to have you on, Nathan!
@@nono-jj9rr that they admit anyway... Still, I'd love to see an episode on how they would handle dressing around a sidearm, especially without a suit jacket.
Only things I carry that I didn't see are a Keysmart key holder to keep my keys from jangling around, and a small loop of blue bike chain I built to keep my hands busy.
My EDC is a bit more than just phone/wallet/keys... I'm a retired lawman so I always carry out of just more than force of habit... My holster & mag pouch are custom leathers, because if I'm going somewhere suit & tie, I want to make sure it matches. My wallet is also leather, but blocks RFID for security. That and my cell phone go in the inside pockets of my jacket. I have a few dress watches and those go in a leather watch case. When I have several items to bring along, I have a leather briefcase (also matches) for all that which is too large for a pocket. This also includes tech accessories like a battery bank, charge cord, and penlight. And when I get home, my pocket items - especially loose change - goes into my leather dump tray. Thanks for posting this, as I enjoy seeing how others organize their essentials!
I have no hips, so I carry the whole things in a small Longchamp leather bag: Cellphone, dark green sunglasses Bollé "Rattlesnake", wallet, chapstick, a comb, charger wire, a Moleskin pocket note pad, a wooden Opinel knife, GUM soft picks, keys, pocket Kleenex, L'Occitane hands cream "mains a croquer" lavender, a small thin of "Fisherman's Friend", and a 2HB Windsor & Newton. And sometimes a harmonica. They're part of me of the earthly things that I love. Looking at them helps me to remember who I am ❤️
Vielen Dank Sven für dieses Viedeo eines "Nicht-Survival-EDC"! And thanks to the rest of you guys for enabeling us to see a tiny bit of your private life. My EDC (since I am German - there are no arms included and I can still feel like a free gentleman): Glases, a small leather pouch for cash called "Wiener Schachtel" (vienna box), Keys, Pocket knife Opniel No8, a white cotton handkerchief, a tiny card holder - like the Wiener Schachtel from "gusti" for the ATm Card, ID Card etc, most days my mobile phone, a small tinbox with mints (mostly Altoids) but inside this box along the mints specially wrapped in clear plastic foil two painkillers (since the militarry there are some backbone issues), a watch (dedpends on the dress and occaison but today my Certina DS PH 200m), my wedding ring Where do I keep that? Well watch at the wrist, ring at the finger (you imaginated that I guess). right front pocket - handkerchief, knive. left front pocket keys and Wiener Schachtel. the rest fits normaly in the jacket. I tend always to wear a jacket or at least a vest (waistcoat?)
Most EDC videos have a ton of stuff in them, it's almost like people are packing their whole home in their pockets, but this is simple and way more realistic.
My EDCs are quite similar to all of you. But, one thing no one mentioned that I do carry often is a portable shoe horn. I like to take my shoes off sometimes while I'm traveling, so I bought a small shoe horn that fits easily in my pocket (although I carry it in my brief case).
Interesting video. For some reason I feel better now and more conscious about what I carry with me everyday. I never given much thoughts about the stuff I carry until now. So, from now on whenever I see what I'm carrying, Gentleman's Gazette will pop into my mind.
That suit is a thing of beauty. EDC for me consists of slim wallet, keycage, small, foldable comb (with a clip so it doesn't slide into the pocket), smartphone and ear buds with case. And of course, in this day and age, a sealed FFP2 mask should I need (a fresh) one. EDIT: Gum, of course! Thank you, Kyle!
I often carry a clean canteen to use when I get a takeaway coffee from a cafe. Just as Preston always wears a hat, I tend to always wear a Buff around my neck, or to have it on hand. My house key-fob is a mini Swiss penknife. I'm there with Kyle on the nail ciippers and lip balm. Interesting video, thank you chaps. And it's good to see the new member of the team.
Very well made video as always, guys, I really enjoyed it! My EDC is quite simple as well. I always carry my wallet, phone, and pocket knife, as well as a handkerchief when I'm not at work. And of course I carry a handgun with two spare magazines. Depending on where I'm going, I may have my tobacco paraphernalia with me as well
I carry a Springfield 1911 chambered in .45 ACP. I must warn you though, while it's incredibly simple and quite frankly, a classic firearm, it is also made entirely of steel and is ridiculously heavy as handguns go.
It was interesting to see what each one of you used as an EDC. In one pocket, my phone, ear buds, and a key chain with a small photo of my children go with the house key and mail key. In the other pocket, I keep my minimalist wallet, the car's key fob, and key with a small multi tool. Sometimes, in a back pocket, I will also carry extra face masks.
Great video, guys. I usually carry a pocket knife, my cell phone, my wallet (which I just purged) my car key and my apartment key. During the winter I carry a cold weather kit, because I work outside. It includes hand cream, lip balm, extra gloves and extra watch caps (I forgo form for function, when it gets too cold).i always have hot coffee with me, except in the warmer months, then I switch to ice cold cold brew. I wear a watch, every day and my glasses have Transition lenses, again because I work outside.
My EDC: iPhone and AirPods, home made leather card holder, wristwatch (I own 30-40 modern and vintage watches, so I pretty much wear a new one every day), Fitbit Inspire HB on the other wrist, KeySmart key holder, Kent foldable comb, Burt’s Bees pink grapefruit lipbalm. If I carry my bag, like on work days, I also carry an Olight SR1 flashlight, Gerber Dime Travel multi-tool, Fisher Space Pen brass bullet and a small first aid kit. And when I’m in the mood, a Zippo with a butane double torch insert and a nice cigar.
Love your valuable, information packed, clear and with a touch of light heartedness presentations. Keep them coming, please 🙂 Prestons wonderful diction always reminds me of the actor who played the Seinfeld rabbi. 🙂
Generally speaking my EDC is as follows: J Crew Money Clip/Card Holder iPhone 12 Parker Jotter CRKT Squid pocket knife Keys - I use a KeySmart Lite to organize my keys AirPods And of course things I consider to be more accessories that I always have: Wedding band A watch - Orient Bambino for dressier occasions or a Timex Mk1 for a more casual look.
Thanks for La compagnie du Kraft, I write a lot with my german pens (and yes one is a Mont Blanc naturally) on French and Japanese notepads, and still researching something more appropriate than a raw notepad.
Congratulations on your wedding, Preston :) Oh oh, I have a question for Raphael, (or the others of course). I'm still looking for a good (sun)glass case. That black one looked really well. But it's hard to find anything nice. I am also looking for something more rectangular/sturdy. I prefer not overly branded items... I hope you have some advice for me. Thanks.
My edc's are quite basic: Usually sunglasses, my seiko diver's watch, cel phone, slim wallet, mints, and matches. Like many people here in Los Angeles, I am a fan of the occasional joint, and I find personally that the match gives it more radiant flame when it singes the plant and paper. I have a mini matchbox that says 'if your joints are stiff, you're rolling them too tight!"
Wonderful video and topic. Funny thing is I carry a brown leather briefcase/ satchel with shoulder strap to hold several necessary items. That way when I’m dressed in classic menswear I can keep less in my pockets.
One EDC item that I wear that you gentlemen might like to consider is the Victorinox Spirit X multi-tool. It is slim, lightweight, and elegantly designed. It is also very useful for many things I never even thought I would need a multi-tool for on a daily basis, but has made many tasks much more efficient. It has a more stylish case than most multi-tools on the market. Even if it does not fit your personal needs, it might be good to feature on the channel. I also carry a fountain pen and use it daily. I use the Kaweco AL Sport.
My leather phone protector has card slots on the back, which I use instead of a wallet. Sometimes I'll keep a leather-bound A6 agenda and pocket fountain pen (brass) in my jacket (much faster to use than the phone). A fitbit-like watch (used to locate my smartphone on occasion). Earbuds (in case). A fedora, when I can. A bullwhip and a Webley pistol when on expeditions.
For me, regardless of how "dapper" the look I'm going for is, my EDC is not complete without a bench made folder, a very bright flashlight, a less than lethal option, a tourniquet, and ideally, a 9mm firearm. Yes, it chews up suit pants pockets, and yes, it is worth not being helpless. Gentleman or not, a man worth the title is not to be lamb.
Wedding ring, wallet, keys, timex expedition north solar with nato band, CRKT CEO, olight Sr baton 2, and p365 with spare magazine. A gentleman should be armed, but courteous and kind.
Thank you! All free gentleman should be well armed. The Sig P365 is an excellent choice. I find with formal dress clothing a .38 special Smith and Wesson J-frame is the easiest weapon to conceal. And they exude a certain aesthetic and class with them that these sort of gentlemen might appreciate.
@Preston: it's actually not very difficult to change the strap of a watch. All you need is an inexpensive little tool. One can even get it for free with some replacement watch straps.
Between the watches, the knife, and the beautiful pious observance, Nathan’s was my favorite and the closest to my edc as well. But, I too carry chapstick in my jacket pocket at all times as well as off brand AirPods, so kyles was second most like mine for me. Preston, love the hats! Only way the video could have been better would have been if everyone had Raphael’s speaking voice.
My EDC is very similar to Preston's, with a few exceptions: - Wallet (I have 2, one for work, and a "street" wallet that has a chain on it) - Phone (because of the obvious) - Glasses (I, too, am nearsighted) or Sunglasses - Bandana (works much like a handkerchief) - Buck Knife (for self-defense purposes, mostly) - Native American Medicine Bag (my Spiritual beliefs) - A watch (either a pocketwatch if I'm wearing one of my three-piece suits, or a wristwatch for casual outfits) - Headphones (because no one wants to hear my music around my neck of the woods) - Pen (in case)
Enjoying the content fellas, inspiring me to improve my own style and presentation. My everyday carry items are quite similar in that it's fairly minimal, although I am surprised that only one of the guys carries a knife as part of their EDC. I'd be lost without my pocket knife for opening packages, slicing food for eating lunch or dinner at work, just all the general things you use a pocket knife for. It might be a product of my upbringing in south Texas where it was simply an expectation that a man would carry a knife on him at all times. :)
Good video. My EDC: Omega Seamaster, leather wallet brown (from Amazon), 1fine tip, 1 broad tip made n china fountain pen. Vintage clothes. Mind you all inspired from watching Gentleman’s Gazette. Thank you guys for the inspiration on my day to day mantra of aspiring of being a gentleman at my best daily!
I always have on me a watch, pocket knife, flashlight and two swiss army knives, one in the keychain and another in the pocket. "Overbladed" maybe, but i just like to carry and collect these swiss things.
Mine: a Kose wallet that I bought in South Korea back in 2010--it's seen better days but I'm so particular about wallets that it's been a tough time getting it replaced. I also carry a Swiss army knife for the rare occasions where I need to use the blade and scissors. Then there's my set of keys as well as a Fisher space pen (also known as a military pocket pen) that I use for various reasons. Finally, I keep a handkerchief in my back pocket, which does nothing during the winter months, but is very useful in the summer for wiping my brow while doing yard work. I don't have very many accessories. I only really have a Timex Iron Man wristwatch (which I'd be completely lost without), as jewelry has never really appealed to me--I'm function over fashion.
I always carry a couple of pens and a notepad. One of the pens is always a fountain pen, which I vary (I have a bunch including some new ones and some vintage ones going as far back as a Sheaffer #2 BCHR I restored), and one is a ballpoint that I turned on my lathe. The notepad isn't anything fancy, but it is a Rhodia, which is very fountain pen friendly, which matters to me, and it fits in a shirt pocket. I also carry in my backpack my EDC lock pick set and a few locks to fidget with. Mostly lightweight ones that are small and fun to pick, like Master LOTO 410s, though I do have a 4 in 1 Sparrows Revolver training lock custom pinned to be more challenging. Other than that it's the normal stuff: glasses, wallet, keys, iPhone 11 (vanilla). I do carry an inhaler in my backpack in case my asthma flares up, which thanks to all the wildfires this Spring it's been "fun." I also walk with a cane, so the good leg takes me everywhere. Oh, my current EDC watch is a circa 1980s stainless Movado Museum Classic that my father gave me.
Some knife suggestions for sophisticated gentlemen (at least in my opinion): - CRKT CEO - Spyderco Nirvana - Civivi Elementum Micarta 907T - Kershaw Natrix Copper - Ruike P848-B Folding Knife There are many others but I think these would go well with a suit and sophisticated attire.
Great video gentlemen ! By the way, seeing Preston with an all-white background (like at 7:03) really convince me that he should apply to model agencies for menswear ! And Raphael, that 3-pieces suit really fits you, nice color combination and the tie's on point ;) Good job guys !
Hello, I'm a 16-year old kid who's just about to graduate from high school this May. I've learnt a lot from your videos, and I always make sure to follow your tips when attending events. I know this might too much to ask and for, and would probably be seen as too child-like, but I was hoping you could make a video on what to wear for graduations and other similar events. I hope you get to read this. Thank you! 💚
Glock? Such an informal firearm. An automatic pistol may have more capacity, but a gentleman would carry only a pocket revolver, such as a J-frame Smith&Wesson, or if you really want to go upmarket, a Korth. Not even a most expensive automatic pistol, like Laugo Alien, goes well with a suit - such a gun belongs on the range.
I always carry nail clippers with me. I've never clipped my nails outside my house, but they're super useful for a lot of things. Mine have a file as well which has a sharp point that can open boxes and do a lot of other stuff. They can also clip loose threads on clothing. I also get a lot of hangnails.
Pocket knives of all sorts may not be for everyone, but i highly recommend at least Victorinox 58mm keychain knives, specially my favourite, Signature. The little, high-quality scissors and pen are the most handy functions among others it has, and can definitely replace dedicated personal care tools, specially in a pinch. Victorinox also produces other models with different functions like flashlights and pendrives in the same keychain size, not to mention the wild range of customized scales. I believe that everyone should own a "58" with their keys just because they're so handy and unobtrusive. Regarding quartz or mechanical watches, i think they're not only classic men tool-accessories for different outfits and occasions depending on style, but also something that (like my pocket flashlight) gets me a bit less dependent on my phone.
Billetera con efectivo (concuerdo con Preston), pañuelos desechables, dos mascarillas, aspirinas, un desodorante, dos libros, un teléfono, un reloj y un manojo de llaves tan grande como el de San Pedro.
I carry a money clip that holds about six cards on one side and cash on the other side, a Parker space pen that feels like nothing in your pocket, but opens up into a full size pen when you need it, my car key and my office/house keys, and a leatherman skeletool because in the construction industry, you just might need a pair of pliers or a screwdriver for an immediate situation.
My EDC is my wallet, Schrade lock-blade folding knife, cell phone, Vicks inhaler, chap stick, mustache comb. On my person on ring on my left hand, one on the right, one "stud" earring/one hanging earring in my left ear & a lost dogs collar converted into a bracelet on my right wrist.
For me, wallet, handkerchief, left pocket is car key and eye drops (contact wearer). Right pocket is zippo lighter, breath strips (as I smoke), pocket comb, and a 1930 silver dollar in a pouch which was carried by my grandfather and father. Phone, mask, and cigars are either in my jacket pockets or my 'carry bag'. My bag will also have extra items such as charger, book, headphones, tablet, sanitizer, and various other items.
if you have a lot of objects where can you carry them ?? 24:20 the brown bag at the right size its too big to have them 24/7 with someone something not too big but not too small
Good content and informative. Stylish as usual. I just think a nice, real watch has it’s place on a gentleman wrist. There’s a lot more to a watch than just tell the time. I can see how Nathan would roll his eyes, seeing the fashion watch and Apple Watch. Lol.
I carry a pocket knife, a pry tool, Vaseline (Cacao because it’s my favorite flavor/cent mostly for the lips but maybe if you have some super dry spots on your skin or a cut or even minor burn it helps to apply), I also Cary mini pliers. A super tiny wrench, more of a keychain but one day I think I’ll use it. Bottle opener. I stoped carting a pen but I do like to carry a marker in place of it. Slim credit card wallet. A flashlight. And I think that about wraps it up. Sometimes I carry a purse and put all my stuff there. I almost forgot my AirPods as well and my phone. Hand balm/salve but only in my purse. As well as some sticky notes. Yes my pants get heavy when I don’t have my purse, but these things I just have to carry. I may even carry more😅😅😅 I’m a huge edc fan and hope to someday expand more on my carry.
As a true gentleman, I keep my italian pasta at my left pocket then the meatballs and garlic bread on my right pocket.

Could work, with their diverse take on classic menswear. Anyway, have a wonderful day, and keep up the fantastic videos, the quality is second to none :)
My EDCs are also quite basic:
Phone, minimalist Wallet similar to Preston's, a waterproof cigarette case, cheap mart lighter, keys, and a pair of wired earphones.
I also wear glasses and watches on daily basis too. I also had carried around spare masks, even before the pandemic, because sometimes I just can't stand the fumes in the streets.
Haha kinda funny that you wear mask because of the street fume but smoke cigarettes :D
Nicotine still tastes good (and I smoke the heaviest ones, 2.5 mg per stick), while there are no good things coming from inhaling fumes
@@sakakibaryo does a mask stop that though??

I absolutely adore this channel! You have anything and everything about Men's fashion, tips and tricks, definitive guides, and even Menswear History.
Albeit there's soooooo many videos, I didn't even know where to begin, luckily the channel's "Favorites" playlist seems to be a good jumping on point to watch Gentlemen's Gazette. Keep up the good work
Thanks 🙏
A tank top with shorts will do.
The Classic SD is _so_ handy. I carried one daily for about a decade.
Very interesting video! For me its much the same: Phone, Wallet, Watch etc...As of a few months ago I bought a classic Swiss Army Knife.
Even for a non-outdoor person it comes in handy for work and daily life more than you think. Better to have than not need I say!
Love the diversity in your EDCs and each of your different interests!
This channel is transformational, your coverage style is unique and authentic.
Shame none of these guys also EDC a firearm.
My EDC (since I am German - there are no arms included and I can still feel like a free gentleman): Glases, a small leather pouch for cash called "Wiener Schachtel" (vienna box), Keys, Pocket knife Opniel No8, a white cotton handkerchief, a tiny card holder - like the Wiener Schachtel from "gusti" for the ATm Card, ID Card etc, most days my mobile phone, a small tinbox with mints (mostly Altoids) but inside this box along the mints specially wrapped in clear plastic foil two painkillers (since the militarry there are some backbone issues), a watch (dedpends on the dress and occaison but today my Certina DS PH 200m), my wedding ring
Where do I keep that? Well watch at the wrist, ring at the finger (you imaginated that I guess). right front pocket - handkerchief, knive. left front pocket keys and Wiener Schachtel. the rest fits normaly in the jacket. I tend always to wear a jacket or at least a vest (waistcoat?)

Most EDC videos have a ton of stuff in them, it's almost like people are packing their whole home in their pockets, but this is simple and way more realistic.
EDC is a subjective topic in my opinion. What may be too much for some is bare minimum to others. All comes down to personal preference.
Phone, keys ,wallet, knife, flashlight, watch, and pistol (cz p07 9mm) and mags in a leather shoulder holster .
What a phenomenal team of hosts you have now put together! Another interesting and informative video :)
My EDCs are quite similar to all of you. But, one thing no one mentioned that I do carry often is a portable shoe horn. I like to take my shoes off sometimes while I'm traveling, so I bought a small shoe horn that fits easily in my pocket (although I carry it in my brief case).
Eagletac d3a ti flashlight in titanium.
Benchmade 940-1 carbon fiber knife.
Dango card wallet.
Victorinox INOX in titanium.
Homemade chapstick.
Sig Sauer p232 in stainless w/black leather Gould holster.
This was a refreshing EDC video. So sensible when compared to the various tactical cosplay type of people that tend to crowd youtube.
Interesting video. For some reason I feel better now and more conscious about what I carry with me everyday. I never given much thoughts about the stuff I carry until now. So, from now on whenever I see what I'm carrying, Gentleman's Gazette will pop into my mind.
I really liked the part with Nathan! Interesting to listen to!
Stop being braindead. Stop wearing the moronic masks.
Depending on where I'm going, I may have my tobacco paraphernalia with me as well
What handgun? I ask because I am looking for a gun to buy to train and later carry with.
I love the mock fighting with Preston.
Ooh! a new GG video! whats a better thing to wake up to?
Keep them coming, please 🙂
Prestons wonderful diction always reminds me of the actor who played the Seinfeld rabbi. 🙂
I love the videos. The one thing I cannot go anywhere without is a fountain pen. Keep up the amazing work y'all do.
Generally speaking my EDC is as follows:
J Crew Money Clip/Card Holder
iPhone 12
Parker Jotter
CRKT Squid pocket knife
Keys - I use a KeySmart Lite to organize my keys
AirPods
And of course things I consider to be more accessories that I always have:
Wedding band
A watch - Orient Bambino for dressier occasions or a Timex Mk1 for a more casual look.
Thanks for La compagnie du Kraft, I write a lot with my german pens (and yes one is a Mont Blanc naturally) on French and Japanese notepads, and still researching something more appropriate than a raw notepad.
Congratulations on your wedding, Preston :)
Oh oh, I have a question for Raphael, (or the others of course). I'm still looking for a good (sun)glass case. That black one looked really well. But it's hard to find anything nice. I am also looking for something more rectangular/sturdy. I prefer not overly branded items... I hope you have some advice for me. Thanks.
My edc's are quite basic:
Usually sunglasses, my seiko diver's watch, cel phone, slim wallet, mints, and matches.
You guys, are too Kool! This is why I really enjoy your Channel!!

Very nice EDC. You seem to be prepared for anything. I carry a .45 myself
In addition to what you and your team carry, I find a pen, pad, swiss army knife, and penlight useful.
Wow, when Preston said his lanyard is from Guatemala I got excited since I was born and raised in Guatemala
Applause 👏 to our men and women who love them with their contributions every day carry on. Being consciousness is helpful.
Wallet ,phone , Pocket knife ,keys ,and pistol . That's all .
Should also include a spare magazine
Lovely to hear all of you guys talk non-scripted 😀
That suits looks crazy.
Is it bespoke? It gives me central Italy vibes.
My EDC is very similar to Preston's, with a few exceptions:
- Wallet (I have 2, one for work, and a "street" wallet that has a chain on it)
- Phone (because of the obvious)
- Glasses (I, too, am nearsighted) or Sunglasses
- Bandana (works much like a handkerchief)
- Buck Knife (for self-defense purposes, mostly)
- Native American Medicine Bag (my Spiritual beliefs)
- A watch (either a pocketwatch if I'm wearing one of my three-piece suits, or a wristwatch for casual outfits)
- Headphones (because no one wants to hear my music around my neck of the woods)
- Pen (in case)
Enjoying the content fellas, inspiring me to improve my own style and presentation.
My everyday carry items are quite similar in that it's fairly minimal, although I am surprised that only one of the guys carries a knife as part of their EDC. I'd be lost without my pocket knife for opening packages, slicing food for eating lunch or dinner at work, just all the general things you use a pocket knife for. It might be a product of my upbringing in south Texas where it was simply an expectation that a man would carry a knife on him at all times. :)
Knife & Gun!
Always a treat when you guys make new videos.
My unique daily carry item is that I wear my father's wedding ring on my right pinky in memorial of him since he passed away.
And where are yours pocket knives, gentlemens?
Some knife suggestions for sophisticated gentlemen (at least in my opinion):
- CRKT CEO
- Spyderco Nirvana
- Civivi Elementum Micarta 907T
- Kershaw Natrix Copper
- Ruike P848-B Folding Knife
There are many others but I think these would go well with a suit and sophisticated attire.
I like the ✝️, Nathan!
Thank you! 💚
I was waiting for one of you guys to show us your concealed carry Glock 19. Definitely part of my gentlemanly every day carry essentials
SA XDs for now but I’m really considering Sig P365 as its lighter has higher capacity and overall smaller for summer wear😉
"...noticed some people are adverse to soap and water."
I feel you Kyle, I feel you.
One of mine is a sterling silver toothpick holder, a pocket watch, and a rescue knife
Nothing against your usual scripts but it’s really refreshing to see Raphael speaking totally improvised and off the cuff
Great team, well pick Raphael 👏👏👏👏👍👌
My EDC is the SCCY CPX 3 in a inside the waistband holster concealed!
I like that silicone ring, Preston. Mine is just plain gray, but that metallic looking version is pretty cool.
Man, the collar breaks ny heart.
This just arrived in my recommendations. I love this kind of thing.
Hi, Kyle. Question: At 17:17, can you tell me specifically where you purchased that? Thanks
thank you guys for sharing your edc wears. this definitely makes me rething what i carry around
Speaking of EDC, when they make a bespoke suit pants, should you specify if you have an inside the waist holster?
For me, wallet, handkerchief, left pocket is car key and eye drops (contact wearer). Right pocket is zippo lighter, breath strips (as I smoke), pocket comb, and a 1930 silver dollar in a pouch which was carried by my grandfather and father.
Phone, mask, and cigars are either in my jacket pockets or my 'carry bag'. My bag will also have extra items such as charger, book, headphones, tablet, sanitizer, and various other items.
Please Stop being braindead. Stop wearing the moronic masks.
if you have a lot of objects
where can you carry them ??
24:20
the brown bag at the right size its too big to have them 24/7 with someone
something not too big
but not too small
I think to buy brown leather shoulder phone holster. They look amazing and free your pockets.
Good content and informative. Stylish as usual. I just think a nice, real watch has it’s place on a gentleman wrist. There’s a lot more to a watch than just tell the time.
I can see how Nathan would roll his eyes, seeing the fashion watch and Apple Watch. Lol.
There's nothing quite like a mechanical watch. I know the automatic mechanical watches are the thing, now, but really enjoy winding it myself.
Off topic, but I really like Raphael's suit
