    Ok, watched several of your videos, you sound very educated on the new Trundra, and looks like you've cracked the code on some of these kits to make them really good. I am waiting on my new 2024 SR5 TRD Off Road trim truck, its in transit to my dealer in a couple weeks. I was considering the TRD factory lift kit, but it seems like you have a similar kit without parts I may not need really need. Do you have kit for my new truck that mimics the TRD kit, which actually provides more wheel travel, and lifts the truck at the same time? I won't be doing any crazy off roading, but will do some occasional fire roads and desert runs, and want a smooth riding truck on 34"-35" tires. My biggest concern is I don't want any major changes to suspension geometry or CV axles that may cause leaks or warranty issues, does your kit address this? Thanks for your response, I tried calling a few times last week and could not reach anyone at Wescott to answer these questions

    So where do we get the trd off road shocks without buying the rest of the trd lift kit in order to do the lift as you are illustrating in the video? Great idea by the way!... It's kind of pathetic that the trd pro only has a 1" lift and doesn't have the trd factory lift kit built into it standard. That's the exact reason I bought an sr5 with off road package... knew I was gonna upgrade to more capability than the trd pro has to begin with...

    I’ve the 2023 1794 with the air suspension system. My question is, if I put this 6” lift kit on which I want to, will it void the warranty and also, can this cause any issues with the differential or driving? Oh and I’m keeping 33x12.50R20

    is there a follow to this video showing it completed? im waiting for my kit now. '24 limited Off Road with the OEM 20" wheels. Dealer will do the install as their test truck. I trust them as a customer of 30 years and it's not the first lift they've done for me. Planning to run 285/65r20 Wildpeaks with the kit. Do you have any experience with that size tire. Trying to avoid the need for spacers. thanks

    Do you have a kit that is intended for a bilstein 6112s or 5100s for a first gen 2002 2wd Tundra? Didn't see anything on the website for a first gen tundra or for 6112s

    How much should it cost to install the front and rear pre collar lift on a trd pro from shops?

    I have a platinum with the standard suspension. I am looking for a small level/lift on the truck for better stance and to put bigger tires, either 34 or 35's. I like the factory ride but want level look without giving up the factory ride. Thanks for putting out great videos that we can trust its done right

      @@Texans_tundra if you don’t mind me asking, what’s was the price for Toyota to do the install/labor? I’ve got a 23’ TRD Off-Road Sequoia that I would love to do this preload kit with. It looks super clean and I want to put 35’s on it with a 17’ wheel.

    The collars are in the same location but you installed a different collar on the TRR Pro shock. How does it compare with the original collar?

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  11 месяцев назад

      It’s taller and goes in the original location and it creates lift.

  • @brysonglessner7

    Do you guys only put these preload collars on the Toyotas or do you have them for other trucks? I’ve only seen these on the tundras it seems.

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  10 месяцев назад

      We install a lot of different suspension set up but a lot of times people come to us because were the manufacture of the preloaded collar so they have us install it, so that’s why we do so many of them.

    For those of us with 2022 Tundras, do you think we need to be worried about the spindle mount and lower control arm? Anything we should do to prevent issues down the line?

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  11 месяцев назад

      They all use the same lower controls and same spindle. Really the thing you need to replace is the axles if you don’t have the factory red axles.

    What is the cost for this Preload collar lift kit for a 2023 TRD Pro and how much lift does it give? Thanks

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  11 месяцев назад

      $329 to $479 depending if you do the front kit or a full front and rear kit. So your truck has a 1” front lift and we add another 1.6-1.7” front and 1.25” rear.

    with this preload kit, want it make the truck ride like crap aka much stiffer

    • @westcottdesigns
      @westcottdesigns  10 месяцев назад

      It works the exact same way a coil over does. You ad preload to the spring and in return you get lift. Does it stiffen the ride for sure in a good way. Then it drives like a truck and not a LAZY BOY chair. The real factor is picking the correct load rated tires and correct alignment specs. It rides smoother then the factory TRD kit Toyota offers because we are adding less preload then Toyota is will their spring.

      @westcottdesigns thanks for your reply, I love the way my TRD Pro rides and takes bumps etc. I just would like it a couple inches higher fr and level in back. I have plans for 35" KO2's.
