This counter depth side by side refrigerator by KitchenAid has a fresh food capacity of 13.6 and a freezer capacity of 9 for a total capacity of 22.6. It has a fingerprint-resistant stainless front with two stainless satin textured handles that feature chrome caps with a red medallion on the ends and an external ice and water dispenser with all controls for the refrigerator and freezer located on the dispenser. Inside is LED lighting, a water filter, a fresh flow air filter, a bottle rack and 4 spill-proof glass shelves with a metal trim, 3 are adjustable, and 1 is stationary. Below the shelves is a deli drawer and two humidity-controlled crispers, one comes with a fresh flow produce preserver. On the door is the dairy compartment and four 2-pieced adjustable bins, 2 are deep enough for gallon storage and all bins are easily removable for cleaning. In the freezer is led lighting, 4-spill proof glass shelves, 2 pull out drawers, the icemaker, Ice storage and three removable bins on the door.

We purchased this fridge in January 2021. It has had issues from the start, now hate it! Every three months we have to unload it and turn off to "defrost" . The issue is something "freezes" up in the freezer and therefore the fridge loosing cooling ability. Have to let it get to room temp and then reset. Works for about 3 months and happens again. This has been happening for 2 yrs. We purchased the extended warranty but that company says they "have to see it when it is actually doing it"???? to figure out the problem?? They are booked ahead 2-3 days and we can't be without a fridge for that long. UGH!!!

Aye carumba !! I really wanted this fridge !! I had a different but similar model i purchased in 2008 that i loved but left with the house when i sold it... now buying a new home and this fridge looked like the one. Interesting how they have a video with this fridge that talks about "cleaning the coils" and how it's a must.... i've never had to "clean coils" in my life... this fridge has a video on how to remove the bottom panel and take a vacuum with brush attachment to clean the coils. I couldn't believe it.
