The heart break in Alec’s face when hardened dragon effect went off
That second duels ending was so full of twists! Loved it!
Love the prebuilt deck showdowns. Always loved these themed decks and you guys piloting them is a blast to watch!
At 20:17 it's just like watching anime all over again
Reading all the cards in a deck today is like reading the entire bible.
get good
I mean, there are *much* lengthier books out there… but I know what you mean.
Could you do this kind of series for tournament tier decks and match ups? With legit siding as well. Just think it'd be more valuable, as well for the casual viewers to see.
They said they don't want to play meta decks against each other for views, while maybe educational, it's propably non entertaining for them
Love these two guys! I don’t play yugioh anymore, but watching you is really fun!
GG guys
Very like how you explain the game and Pauls style of taking is simply cool and respectful. Love it
Pretty nice! With these two gems in delivery I'm very happy to see that they do pretty well in dueling each other. They seem pretty balanced to me. What do you guys think?
Remember when the God cards were one of a kind extremely powerful cards only a few chosen to use..... Yea me either
Remember when people used to speak proper english? Yeah, me neither.
@@Sam-kj9ui well technically "proper" english is a bit of an oxymoron. if you were to time travel to even just a little over 100 years ago, your pronunciation of almost anything would come off as strange and improper to the people of that era.
Am I wrong or didn´t Ra´s disciple´s effect say that they can only be used as tribute for the god cards? Well anyway am team Obelisk in this dual but my favorite god card is The Winged Dragon of Ra. Obelisk is a strong nr 2 tho.
@Crenart
Ah okay good to know. Thanks. Been a while for me.
It also says you cant special summon monsters except by the effect of disciple so is angel 01 a misplay???
It was great watching use two duel, brings back memories. Also just wanna say a huge thanks for explaining what certain cards and effects while you played.
I'm really glad I found this channel. You guys got me playing again. I dusted off my X-Crawler deck for the first time in a long time.
I'm so excited for this duel I'm for team slifer who else is?
Yeah, slifer
Slifer for the win!
Slifer for life!
Our boi for the win
Slifer Slackers the whole lot of ya! Obelisk Blue is where it’s at always has always will 😎
When he activated that swords of revealing light I jumped in excitement🤣😂I knew he was going get that
I thought yall were on summer break, damn this is gonna be entertaining. Also props on being sponsored by Konami, I guess.
Tribute summoned monsters cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects you opponents controls....assuming uour reffering to march of the monarchs....the spell essentially makes tribute monsters only killable by battle
@@atramortis6837 I uh, have no idea what this has to do with my comment. Or why the big bad evil dude dragon from many Magic sets is doing on youtube,
Learned about the channel from Tolarian Community College, as a highly invested magic player Yugiyoh seems really interesting, loving your content so far!
Getting back in to yugioh. I love that you all explain every move. This was a very well done video.
lol i've never seen anyone heavy storm with a feather duster before 😂
feather duster is too powerful 😂😂😂
When Paul special summoned the Angel 01, he still had a Ra's disciple, which does not allow special summoning other than through its own effect.
I saw that as well, it bothers me as a Ra player because I always want to do that
That's only on the turn it was summoned
16:31 was an illegal move. ra's disiple can only be tributed to summon a god. the level 7 monster was not a god
I bought these after watching a ton of your videos already. Really like how each one of you has had a series on the channel.
Thank you so much for listening to my feedback on twitter and explaining every turn ! After reading the comments on the video it seems like a lot of other people actually really enjoy this type of duel explaining everything and actually understanding it. That and it seems like I'm not alone in thinking that these structure decks are a lot more fun to watch than the actual legit competitive decks which just loop over and over again
I mean they bricked a whole bunch and never really got to make any super impressive plays because of the garbage consistency of these decks
@@TheWonkster well if it’s consistent and smooth like the competitive ones it would just be boring to watch one person demolish the other person in one turn just drawing from their deck and summoning over and over and over again for like 10 minutes
What were they thinking giving Slifer the fiend and dark cards when that is definitely Obelisks thing?
That a valid but I am pretty sure it a mirror thing
Awesome duel, the only thing missing is you guys dressed as kaiba and yugi, but great vid
I honestly think they care about their videos just as much as Konami cares about their fanbase...
@@pascalsimioli6777 Shut up man
@@pascalsimioli6777 what? TeamAPS has some of the best yugioh content on yugioh.
About a decade ago I was playing a frog exodia deck. Was pretty fun.
Im gonna be buying this slifer deck so soon, i dont even play anymore, i had a very similar slifer deck that i built from scratch, and i only have the god card left. Thanks for reminding me about how fun this game is even 2 years later :)
gotta admit love seeing those structure deck duels i miss when yugioh was simple and the god cards are such a nice nostalgia trip
I miss dueling in old yugioh mate....😢
Wait were you aloud to tribute ra’s disciple since they could only be used for a god card sad Slifer lost though
Yes because the card was face down so effect does not apply unless it was a flip effect, which Ra’s Disciple is not a flip effect.
@@HaruhiSuzumiya93 oh
I've been waiting for this video for weeks! Well worth it! What a GREAT video!!!!
Game 2 was insane. I love y’all’s content!
Ngl but I whished they also made a Ra deck cuz he is my fav god
They released it as a special product as far as I know. That may have just been Ocg though
Wow it’s not like Ra got an entire set named after him
I see you are a man of culture as well. Ra is the coolest of the 3.
@@exeledusprince9165 He got a Shit load of support in Legendary Duelist: Rage Of Ra
@@santinoaguilar8601 yes I am aware. Should have more support honestly, since he is the coolest god card.
Alec literally 'heart of the cards'd it using the actual card based on the idea of the heart of the cards in that second battle. That's amazing!
Paul you can only tribute the Ra disciples for god cards only, you can not tribute them for anything else.
Also can't special summon anything while they're out
You can use them as Xyz Material, at least for Rank 4 monsters.
@@brimstoneclub sadly you can't do that either. Ra's disciple can lock yourself out of your not careful. You can't special summon monsters except with ra's disciples effect.
@@joseburgos9223 ooh wow really, I did that like 3 days ago with a card game haha!
Enjoying my Sunday morning with this dueling, it was a fun watch and easy to follow suit with these cards effects. Keep it up!
That was such an awesome duel. Throughly enjoyed it from start to finish!
I remember when the god cards were blue/red/yellow.
Not this lame Pringle color.
They still exist but aren't tournament legal just for show.
Those ones also didn’t have any effect text and couldn’t really be played with
Konami: "Ok we need cards with the most synergy with Slifer for this structure deck"
Also Konami: "Oh Obelisk? Yeah I guess maybe give him 1 way to be summoned and just shove random cards into it"
16:15 he used Ra's Disciple for a tribute summon of a non divine beast monster.
Face down has no effect
If the card is face down, the effect cannot be applied. So it is a 100% legal play.
time code 7:32 you can't use the field eff to activate reactor slime (because it said "sacrificed this card")
Lol I’m shocked you guys played this so quickly! Found these at Walmart yesterday so bought them and my wife and I got to play last night and we only managed to play 1 duel! It took us 3 hours! Was probably the most competitive and fun duel I’ve had though! Really enjoyed these decks.

One person special summon with Ra's Disciple on the field while tributing it for Obelisk effect
Another guy tribute opponent's monster for Reactor Slime effect when it clearly said "You can tribute THIS card"
