- Visconti offered over the years a lot of variety in the nib materials used for their nibs , in this video we will take a walk on memory lane and experience the famous 14k Gold nibs and 18 Gold nibs of the past but we will be seeing them side by side with modern Steel and the famous flagship nib , the 23k Palladium Dreamtouch nib.

When I retired from the medical profession I noticed how much my penmanship deteriorated. I grately admire those video clips with great writing. Have three Visconti's that I treasure. Enjoy your clips. Thank you.
Thank you so much :D my writing is ok but ... it usually gets better if I practice a lot
Thanks for the comparison video, Emy! I find my "M" Palladium nib the smoothest of my Visconti pens (over my 14k gold M and 23k palladium fine). It just glides across the paper with no resistance!
Thank you Dara , yes I agree with you , the higher you go in nib size the more smoother is the experience.
As always a wonderful concise video!!!
Thank you Antonio , its just a writing experience overview , I still need to review every of these pens in the coming time.
That was very helpful information, thank you for making this video.
I appreciate your support and I cant wait to share with everyone the 2019 18k Gold nib from Visconti that im currently testing.
That opera honey almond is (one of) my grail pens, it's beautiful!
I’m considering letting it go so contact me if you look for one 😁
I wish that you could have addressed Visconti's quality control on their nibs. I should have said gross lack of quality control. It appears that when Dante Del Vecchio left Visconti their quality control went out the window.
Let me share some light on this old mith - first of all Palladium nibs that Where made by Dane where the ones that had quality problems due to the nature of the material - but when those nibs where adjusted to perfection - they wrote like a dream ;) , second of all regarding the new 18k gold nibs that visconti is making at this moment , there aren’t any problems with them, I was on the research and test team for those nibs and I’ve worked with them and tested their nibs for a year before them being public advertised.
The old moth with the QC problems on nibs at visconti is way to overrated, I own 30 visconti pens with the majority having palladium nibs, I remember of only 2 nibs having some issues , of which only 1 nib I consider as being “with problems”, this is in my opinion a small %
Good job please keep making
As you can see videos are uploaded 2 or 3 times a week
Hi, Do you still have palladium nibs in stock for Visconti bronze age?
Hey there - at this moment the only available nibs are in Silver color (they can be used on the divina/medici/evolution HS) and as for sizes i think we have a F and a B but im not sure.
@@pen.venture Thanks for the reply. Do you have Visconti bronze age pen with dream touch palladium nib ?
No. The only alternative would be the 18k Gold nib made by Bock (not by visocnti), that was equipped on the Bronze age in 2019 at the begining. That is the exact same shape / size like the 23k Palladium - made in 18k Gold. Its different to the ones made today and feel different
I’m looking for a Visconti nib for my dark ages maxi as bad luck would have it I let a friend try it and he dropped it nib first and now nib not repairable
Hey Ruben, they dont come cheap but i can help you and also throw in a discount - knowing the heart braking moment myself
Let me know the damage and I’ll see if he honors his word and thank you
And I would like to get a two tone nib no more black the plating on mine was coming off extra fine is my choice of size
there are no more 2 tone nibs available at this moment from Visconti - they discontinued them. 18k Gold nib units come in the following colors : Black ruthenium - Silver rhodium - Rose Gold bronze - Rainbow
Well I guess if I have to settle it would be traditional gold color
