Congrats Josh! I’ve loved having this card ever since I was approved a few weeks ago. It’s a super solid addition, especially since it’s a no annual fee card that you can use to store your Amex points from other Amex cards with an annual fee if you ever were to close them. Also side note, I need you to teach me how to edit man. I love your work. Keep it up!
Thank you Spencer! I’m really happy to have this as my first business card. 🤑 I’ll definitely help you out in the editing arena as long as you teach me how to finesse the algorithm like you’ve been doing!!! 😍
I started at $2k credit limit as a sole prop, I on the application I put other as the type of business, number of employees at 1, annual business revenue are at $1000, estimated monthly spend I put $0 and I put myself as the owner and put my same W2 income from 2021 when I first applied for my Amex Green back on 2/14/22 and the regular EveryDay on 2/20/22 and was approved for the BBP. I transferred $2100 to this card and now I have $4100 and put my social security as a sole prop instead of a tax ID and no DBA. My name is my company name as a sole prop.
Great card! That was my 2nd business card and really like it. My 1st business card was the Hilton Business. I haven't got a hard pull from AMEX since I got my 1st card (4 cards only 1 hard pull so far). Congratulations!
Congrats on the new card Josh! My experience was the same as yours since I also apply for business cards under an LLC. Typically, my application goes to pending, and I have to call in to verify a few things, but so far ✊🪵, no business card denials yet! This is such a great card to start with for MR points. Now to get working on that SUB 👍! Also, 💯 video editing as always!
Thank you Stan! Very interesting. I'm not really sure why it went to pending...they didn't ask me anything different than what I typed into the application lol. 🤷♂️ I think they just wanted someone to talk to. I'm using this card to get a new computer so that I can edit faster!!! Woot 🤩
@@joshua.butler Haha, yeah, they just probably need to hear a real human being to confirm the existence of the LLC, at least that's what I think, hah! Congrats on getting the AMEX BBP Card Josh! Yeah being able to transfer Chase Points from the Chase Ink Business Unlimited to my CSP would be a huge reason I would consider that card. And just like you, once I get monetized, I think the two business Cards I'll be deciding between will be the AMEX BBP & Chase Ink Business Unlimited. Just like you getting a card with no-annual fee but 2x back on everything, as well as being able to get valuable MR Points would be a big reason to consider the AMEX BBP. Great video as always!

@@joshua.butler - Well, they do have a 2 in 90 rule and 1 in 5 rule. Meaning u can only be apply for 1 card every 5 days, and u can only be approved for 2 cards every 90 days. I have the Blue Business Plus still and the Citi Double Cash. I have 3 cards of 2x or 2%. I like that the Blue Business Plus and Cash along with the Amazon Business Prime card don't report to my personal credit unless I default. I wasn't eligible for the welcome bonus, but that's ok, but at least its no annual fee. I have to remember that the cash back on the Business Cash autodeems my points at the end of the month for statement credit only. That's the only thing that sucks, but the rest I can live with.

Hey, Josh! I’ve decided I’m getting this card as a sole proprietor to use on car related expenses as I’m going to start driving for Uber on the side. I am curious, should I wait to get this card as I was recently approved for the blue cash everyday in Feb ‘23? I wasn’t sure if I would be okay to apply for this card being a business card, or if I should still wait the six months to apply. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Amex has a 2 in 90 rule (they won't approve more than 2 cards within a 90 day period). As long as you're not exceeding that, you should be good. Of course, like any credit card application, it'll depend on your total credit profile whether or not you get approved.
