I finally understand what credit report and consumer report is. I have watched hundreds of videos of all races of people speaking and teaching credit, and I still couldn’t understand it fully, and this might sound crazy or sad, but I finally am able to grasp the information because the man is Caribbean and Black my brain is retaining the information so much better. It’s crazy how you understand better and listen better when the person is one of your own. I'm understanding him way better than the American man because I just cannot connect to his dialect. 🤦🏾♀️

I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted, its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash. VERY well done ! I say this with 40+ years in mortgage finance & banking working with credit bureaus. Different models and parameters are used by different industries but *850 Credit restoration* info is pretty much universal. If you're trying to max your credit scores, there is a happy medium between too many credit cards and none. Too many cards with zero balnce may actually hurt you in some cases. Even if you do not use them, you have a potential. To always pay cash & still have cards doesn't help your scores as well

Your credit score is irrelevant ....you are the original creditor and it is YOUR OWN credit that you are getting extended to you but the problem is the banks and dealerships etc are leading people to believe that you're obtaining a loan when it's the opposite .....the institution does go to the Federal Reserve to obtain a loan and then they turn around and charge the consumer interest on their own credit which violates the usary laws ...it's your own credit and when you get denied your own credit that is discrimination and they have to reverse that but you have to approach them on it other wise if you don't then they won't reverse the decision and ok top of it they are trading your credit application even though they denied you ...they actually sell the credit application(also considered the promisory note))before they even pull your credit! Take your credit application with you if they deny you the application report them for ID theft

It just becomes a never ending cycle of misinformation, and I refuse to put my children thru what I been through financially. I will be 32 years old in 8 days and I need to work on my credit. So if I wanted to send letters to get late payments removed, who would I send the letters to? The original creditors? The collection agency? Or to TransUnion or Equifax and Experian?
the original creditor aka the "person". that furnished the report of your transactions and late payments and sent it to the collection agency who sent it to experian transunion equifax thats what i got from the video correct me if i am wrong people

This gentleman is the reason why I decided to start reading the FCRA myself. I listened to this whole video and did not have a clear way of repairing my credit. I don't see any testimonials supporting what this man is telling people. Example: Exclusions. Except as provided in paragraph (3), the term "consumer report" does not include (i) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report The key word is solely. This means they can't ONLY use your transaction history as your consumer report.

I was able to clean up my credit report this year-- not through his comical methods. It's a process and is time-consuming, but I should be absolutely prestine towards the end of 2025. If you're here, chances are you're looking to repair yours. I recommend a youtuber named Stephen Smith. Super transparent, thorough, and practical, but most importantly, you know what to do while/after watching his videos. In hindsight, this video wasted soooo much of my time and was more of a setback than a help.

I was discriminated against through employment which offered to pay training then decided I wasn't a good fit and stuck me with a debt which is listed as a loan through a 3rd party that wasn't a part of our agreement. It's been a nuisance to get rid of.

From my understanding, most of the laws only apply to third party debt collectors. Not the 1st party collector that originally owned the debt... Edit: I applied these laws to a first-party debt and was able to get a repossesi9n taken off a report. It worked!

This video is my confirmation of what I've been doing with credit. The only thing I didn't hear you touch on was adding autorized users instead of ever doing a co-sign. I have managed to raise scores as high as 800 just by adding someone as an authorize user. They get the credit limits and all the positive credentials from being an authorize user, keeping in mind that said account is in good standing and using less than the 30% usage. My next goal is to duplicate this on my personal side starting 1st qtr. next 2024. I want to focus on warming up my current AmEx cards with gradual monthly charges. starting off at $1,000, then gradually increase each month by $1,000 so as not to alert the AmEx police. Bronx, NYC

I listened to this whole video and did not have a clear way of repairing my credit. I don't see any testimonials supporting what this man is telling people.
Example:
Exclusions. Except as provided in paragraph (3), the term "consumer report" does not include
(i) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report
The key word is solely. This means they can't ONLY use your transaction history as your consumer report.
Just do it! You be the testimonial!

I was able to clean up my credit report this year-- not through his comical methods. It's a process and is time-consuming, but I should be absolutely prestine towards the end of 2025. If you're here, chances are you're looking to repair yours. I recommend a youtuber named Stephen Smith. Super transparent, thorough, and practical, but most importantly, you know what to do while/after watching his videos. In hindsight, this video wasted soooo much of my time and was more of a setback than a help.

From my understanding, most of the laws only apply to third party debt collectors. Not the 1st party collector that originally owned the debt...
Edit: I applied these laws to a first-party debt and was able to get a repossesi9n taken off a report. It worked!

This video is my confirmation of what I've been doing with credit. The only thing I didn't hear you touch on was adding autorized users instead of ever doing a co-sign. I have managed to raise scores as high as 800 just by adding someone as an authorize user. They get the credit limits and all the positive credentials from being an authorize user, keeping in mind that said account is in good standing and using less than the 30% usage. Thanks again for sharing this golden information!!!!
