That recon line can do wonders for you! Congrats on the approval Josh! 🎉 This is honestly a card I'm heavily debating adding if I want to relax my applications until I'm under 5/24. That bonus is too solid to pass up!
Congrats on the new card Josh 🎊! And another great SUB as well! Definitely love the simplicity of this card, and I had a similar situation happen to me when I applied for an Ink card for the first time! Like you mentioned, calling the recon line is key, and then you don't have to waste all that time waiting for a response or for your card to arrive (gotta get started on that MSR ASAP)!
Appreciate it Stan!!! Yeah, I essentially decided to get this card once I decided that I was going to make a large purchase that would enable me to hit the MSR, so I wanted the card in hand ASAP! I wasn’t trying to wait around for 2 weeks! I’m curious if any subsequent Chase business cards I apply for will be automatic approvals or not.
Haha love the Cat in the intro! I'm unfortunately over 5/24 but I'm really hoping to add both Chase Ink Cards sometime in the future for those superrrr high welcome bonuses! Awesome that you were able to get them on the reconsideration and get that application approval pushed through! Great video Josh!
SEVENTEEN personal cards??? Goodness, I wouldn’t be able to keep up!! Also, look at you coming in clutch with that credit score! I want to submit my application to join club 800, what are the requirements sir 👀? And that credit limit 😲! Congrats bro! I’m honestly surprised that you had to call to push the application through since you have other Chase credit cards….but then again, Amex treated me the same way….and then you know the rest 😅.
I need all of the credit cards 😋 Yeah, I guess they just needed to confirm the business existed. I'm guessing if I had applied as a sole proprietor it would've went through automatically... but 🤷♀️
That first ad break really left a cliffhanger when you were about to tell us the most important question to ask ourselves. Also, why kitty so sleepy? 😂
Idk bro… you claimed “no business needed” but you have a legit LLC and they had to manually review it and send them actual paperwork. I’m very skeptical this works for sole proprietor who’s making pocket cash as a side hustle.
Yes, if you apply with an LLC, you need to have an actual LLC with paperwork. Applying as a sole proprietor (no formal business) with your SSN is another option.
Hi, under just for me and my Chase account there is a list of business credit cards as a choice to browse Would you happen to know if this means that I've been pre-selected or pre-approved ,or is this just a random advertisement any thoughts? Thanks...
They're both good. I plan to get the Ink Cash next year when I'm below 5/24. If you have spend in the Ink Cash's 5%/2% categories, it would likely be better to get that one first.
Regarding the title, I don't see how you can get approved without a business if the application goes to review without the proper documentation, making this video quite misleading don't you think...!!!
can you do a video comparing the chase and venture X portal prizes for tickets? I find the Venture X hotels are more expensive than same Chase portal one's. In a number of cases, the same hotel comes with breakfast with chase, but not with Venture X. So I decided to start using my chase cards again, after my minimum spend on Venture X.
Does chase business report to personal credit report? My AMEX cards don’t show on my personal credit report, but Capital One does. Curious if this one will thanks
I’m glad you got approved, but I was denied thrice. 5/24, but apparently 5/24 doesn’t matter this go around with it. Same reasons as you, maybe will pick it up near the new year.
I’d want to fall within the good to excellent FICO range before applying for this card. I wouldn’t freeze for this card since they do use your personal report for approval. Hope this helps!
I honestly wasn't really on hold very much at all. Not even enough for her to wind up the music track. I just looked at my call log and the entire phone call was 9 minutes. Very efficient!
Sounds like the Chase call center was in the Philippines from her way of speaking? She had a hard time asking for specific legal documents. Glad she was able to approve you.
My business was formed maybe 8 months before I applied for this card. I believe my business revenue was around $12k/year and annual income was around 190k. The first business card I applied for was the Amex blue business plus which I also have a watch me apply video: ruclips.net/video/W909sdBlI50/видео.htmlsi=vk2LFvcueilaZmzA
I have a good to excellent credit profile, my only doubt is to apply for this Chase card without a chase business checking account. I do have a business and proper paperwork. Would you still recommend it? just curious
I just applied as a sole proprietor, but when i got to the business info there was only a line for EIN, i saw no drop down menu to change the EIN option to the social option. Now my application is pending review. I put my social as the EIN in the Column. Should i be worried???
Hey, I'm looking at the application page for this card at the moment. Under "Business structure > Legal business structure", make sure sole proprietorship is selected. This will enable you to see SSN as one of the options under "Business Tax ID > Tax ID type". Since you've already submitted the app, give Chase recon a call at 800-453-9719 and tell them you made a mistake on your app. They should have no issue helping you out. Press 0 to talk to a human
@@joshua.butlerso I’m reading on reddit that calling the recon line will result in an additional hard inquiry. Do you have any data on the validity of this?
Only if they need to rerun your credit. They will tell you if you ask them. I typically like to call recon the same day I get the pending review message.
Ok i took your advice & called the reconsideration line, explained the error i made. They asked a few simple questions, then congratulated me on my approval! I only got 6k but it’s much better than being denied. I just want to say i truly appreciate your content and taking the time to guide me with great information. This is my 1st business card!!! You’re the man!!
Yes! There’s many people who get this one as their first business card. It’s nice because it’s a catch all card that earns Chase ultimate rewards points.
Okay good for you. But I watched because your title says "Get approved without a business," however you are an LLC and told her you have articles of incorporation. Also...no data points given.
If you don’t have a formal business, you apply as a sole proprietor. I talked about this in the video. What other data points do you think I should have covered that I didn’t already include?
Hahaha. Well, the phone call with the rep was only 9 minutes. I’m hoping any future Chase business cards I get will be automatic approvals, but we shall see!
Hey! I don't have LLC but run a small business of my own. Do i have to have an LLC inorder for me to get the business ink unlimited card or can i just apply for it?
@@joshua.butlerI have an ein, but am not an LLC. If I apply as sole prop, will this card report to the business credit bureaus? I know Chase reports to all 3 business bureaus, but not sure if they will if I apply using my ssn instead of using my ein. Am hoping they do since I'm trying to build my business credit profile.
