You still can ask for it by asking the CSR to send a replacement card so you will receive one as quick as possible and just destroy the second one ☝️

Does the 5/24 rule still applies even if you are open a Chase Ink card under an LLC with an EIN number?
Could be that the 3k limit was because of applying SP. If you applied with your invite LLC, you probably would have had a much higher limit. Good vid!

One observation and question: the "Number of employees" field read "Enter the number of all additional employees, not including yourself. Enter 0 if you're the only employee." So perhaps you meant to enter 0 and not 1? At any rate, I think different banks ask this same question differently. Some ask for total number of employees including yourself, while others ask for additional employees. They're inconsistent and confusing.

Oh wow I breezed over that and didn’t even read the fine print! I’ve applied for so many Amex biz cards recently and they want you to enter 1 for yourself. You are correct I should have typed in 0 instead of 1!

Yeah man. Congrats. I wish I could upload a photo here to prove it - but mine just showed up in the mail today! My first business credit card in at least 15 years. I’ve spent the last year rebuilding my credit and applied in branch last week branch with the small business banker that I’ve been dealing with. Got approved for $3500. I’m running into the same situation as you. About to buy a $4600 MacBook Pro and now I have to figure out how to do it. Ha

@@markplymale such a long time! Luckily Brandon falls under in 2.5 months, so I think we may go for Southwest Companion Pass! Then he’ll hit up CIBP 4-6 months after that. I still need to grab a Biz Gold next year, so there’s plenty of SUBs to work on luckily. I just don’t know if I have the willpower. 🤣
I never wait, waiting isn't going to get me approved any faster and if I am not approved, why wait?. Congrats by the way I got approved for a second Chase business card today also, my second within 3 months. I think players like us will always have to call the re-con line, I had to for both. We automatically will go to a second level for approval.
I’m with you! No sense in waiting around. Calling won’t hurt and I’d rather know the decision sooner than later. Once I’m done with this bonus I’m going straight for the ink Preferred!

How much money do I need to have in my Chase premier checking account prior to attempting to apply for the Chase Business Ink Cash card?
I think if you had applied with your LLC info you would have gotten a higher limit, I notice from others when they apply as a sole proprietor they get 3000 CL, which is the minimum you can get for these business cards.

Yes! Not sure why exactly but they did

i am on my 5/24, but i got a email and mail offer from chase for ink cash and chase ink preferred, try to use it by pass 5/24, both got decline. SO SADDDDDDDDD

Wondering if you feel it’s okay to pay off my charges everyday with Amex Gold or just wait for the cycle to end?
My advice is always do what makes you feel the most comfortable. I think people who pay the balance daily are worried about overspending so that makes them feel more in control which I would never argue is a bad thing!
Hey Mark, just have a question. What Chase card would be best to pay for RUclips Premium? I see the CSP has 3x on select streaming services for Spotify and RUclips TV but not RUclips Premium. Am I missing something? if the CSP doesn't get 3x on RUclips Premium then I can use the CFU. I have the Chase Trifecta btw with the CFU, CFF and CSP. Thank you for responses!
CSP should work for RUclips premium! It says RUclips tv but from what I’ve read it will bundle that in with RUclips premium. If for some reason it doesn’t count then the next choice would be CFU unless the Flex is offering 5X for that quarter on streaming!

Thanks! Inquires do not effect 5/24 status. The only thing that actually effects 5/24 is the amount of credit cards opened that show on your personal credit report. Inquires don’t matter!

Yes that would count so I will not be requesting an increase! Instead I’ll just move some credit limit from my ink cash over to my new ink unlimited

Just curious as to why you applied as Sole Prop instead of LLC?
Honestly I just wanted to demonstrate it was possible to be approved as sole prop because I get asked that question all the time and wanted a video on my channel as a reference guide!
But aside from that i have been running my RUclips channel as sole prop for awhile but as it grows I plan on restructuring the LLC to an S corp. I felt like applying as sole prop now made the most sense

My daughter's business partner has def more than 5. We cards and still got approved. I'm never that lucky! I'm where you were and waiting for March to arrive so I will have 5 new cards and can apply then, right?

You can apply today technically. Chase has the 2/30 rule so typically no more than 2 new accounts in a month but I got 2 cards in the same week a couple what’s back!

@@markplymale By the way Chase & Discover it did not allow me to transfer money to my new account which both were 3k like yours 😂 with ZERO APR even my second cards each has 47k & 70k in order to not take advantage of the APR bonus plus double bonus back first year for Discover it 😂 so you might face this issue
