Sandy apart from your creativity, I love ❤your bubbly vivacious personality. You make every project so interesting and easy to follow. I discovered your videos only recently and now I want to watch ALL. Keep up the excellence 🎉
Really cute!!! I was trying to figure out what you were doing with the buttons until I realized they were your pins!! Thanks for sharing a great way to use up scraps.
Last November I made a random-width-strip rail fence quilt project, it was a heat pad table runner for my mother in law. We do big thanksgiving dinners at her house and she has had to use bath towels as hot pads in the past. I had all these lovely warm purples and autumn browns that were perfect. I love a good bright rail fence pattern, yours looks great! Makes me think of bright candy wrappers.
this is so lovely! i remember in primary school we made a cushion cover for a mother's day gift with this patchwork made out of squares of 3 strips. it was all hand sewed and didn't have the colour wash effect but your quilt design reminded me of it. my mum still has the cushion I made her almost 30 years ago.
Even i don't sew and never have i watch your videos because of the creativity and your sweet and relaxing demeanor. Thank you for uploading ❤ love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Lovely Sandy lol that is adorable quilt thank you from Newfoundland Canada i do a runner for my tv i think always done a string quilts i got one a double bed rail fence done almost lol good for you
I have seen this pattern called Split Rail Fence or just Rail Fence. It's in an old quilt book of mine withe the first name. This pattern works up really cute on the diagonal.
With your colorful fabrics I’m so curious to see if other parts of your life are so bright, or is it mostly the quilting so you aren’t overwhelmed? Also how many of these rainbow masterpieces have you kept out on display in your home? ❤
Hi! I'm pretty much a glass half full kind of person so I always try to bring the excitement to everything I do 😄 For now it's just this pillow, I try to sell or gift what I do so I don't hoard. I have a LOT of pet blankets though 😁 And mug rugs!!
Hi. Adhesive batting is very practical but it tends to leave glue on the sewing needle when you're quilting,so it can make the quilting process a bit more frustrating. But other than that, just make sure it adheres nice and flat and it should work very well!
Hi guys! Let's wash our day with big colors!! It's a fun and easy to make quilt pattern that is one of my favourites. Enjoy ❤
That is a scrappy rail fence.

Really cute!!! I was trying to figure out what you were doing with the buttons until I realized they were your pins!! Thanks for sharing a great way to use up scraps.
Thank you 😁
Thanks for mentioning that they were pins! 😃 I thought it was buttons to be used as closures. Then they were gone. I was confused.😆
@@terrig2298 hehehe sorry for the confusion guys 😁
@@seweasybysandy They're really cute pins!!

Sounds awesome! Sometimes its the simplest patterns that are the most stunning 😁
The pattern is called "Rail Fence"! It's ADORABLE!
Yes, the quilt block is a rail fence, I'm not sure if there's a name for using it for a rainbow color wash 😄
@@seweasybysandy Yes, the pattern is Rail Fence. The colors you chose don't change the name of the pattern. I love the pillow you made. It's darling!

fence rail quilt pattern! or rail fence. google either. but you can do so much by changing the colors, and yours is so pretty.
Thank you 😊
Sew cute and colorful. It is a rail fence pattern. Lovely pillow cover.
Thank you 😊
Great tutorial, beautiful cushion cover. Thank you😊
They’re great blocks. Classic. I think I’d make them from long 1.5”strips and then cut them down to the square size I wanted.
Yes, if you're repeating combinations that saves you loads of time!
Love the bright colors
Beautiful colours 😍 I love the pattern a lot 😍.
Thank you 😊
I love it! I’m making one for sure!
It's so cute!
You should add a lining to your pillowcase.
Very nice and beautiful. Thank you very much
Thank you 😊
What are those cute little pins you are using? So cute!
I've had them for ages, maybe from Clover but I'm not sure. They're sewable and flat headed, which works well for me. Have a great day!
The pattern is called Rail fence, love making it!

Do you have any suggestions for using an adhesive batting in a Quilt?
Hi. Adhesive batting is very practical but it tends to leave glue on the sewing needle when you're quilting,so it can make the quilting process a bit more frustrating.
But other than that, just make sure it adheres nice and flat and it should work very well!
How is your button pin cushion made? I love it!
Hi! It's this no sew project from my other channel: ruclips.net/video/F9ElgZD5EI8/видео.html super easy and fun to make 😁
Thank you for sharing.
When sewing the strips together, what seam allowance are you using?
hi. 1/4 inch foot every time.
thank you ❤
check out log cabin patterns. Similar and smaller!
I love log cabin quilt blocks 🥰
thanks
Is the pattern called "Rail Fence" ???
Yes the quilt block itself is a rail fence. I'm just not sure what it's called when you use it for a color wash 😁
@@seweasybysandy 🤔🤔🤔 Not sure about that !!
How about combining adjacent colors for transitional blocks...
I love that, it would be a much more subtle shift
Hi lovely colours and patterns, tip use chopsticks as turning tool they are blunt so don't go through fabric and best of all free
Great idea, thanks! 😊
❤
What foot are you using, please?
Hi. It's the 1/4inch foot with a guide. 🙂
cute video. there is no thumbs up icon down below your video just a thumbs down? can you fix this?
Hi. I don't know what you mean, I can see the thumbs up and down, maybe it's a glitch?
❤❤❤❤
The name of your little block is “Fence rail “
I’ve seen it called popsicle sticks as well.
That's so cute! 🥰
Oh my god! Her voice completely spoils it

Hi you are so cute too
Tiny?! I routinely work with 1.5" squares. LOLOLOL
That's awesome! I usually prefer working with larger pieces, they tend to be more forgiving
Очень затянутое видео, а так ничего особенного
