    Last November I made a random-width-strip rail fence quilt project, it was a heat pad table runner for my mother in law. We do big thanksgiving dinners at her house and she has had to use bath towels as hot pads in the past. I had all these lovely warm purples and autumn browns that were perfect.
    I love a good bright rail fence pattern, yours looks great! Makes me think of bright candy wrappers.

    this is so lovely! i remember in primary school we made a cushion cover for a mother's day gift with this patchwork made out of squares of 3 strips. it was all hand sewed and didn't have the colour wash effect but your quilt design reminded me of it. my mum still has the cushion I made her almost 30 years ago.

    Do you have any suggestions for using an adhesive batting in a Quilt?

    • @seweasybysandy
      @seweasybysandy  2 месяца назад

      Hi. Adhesive batting is very practical but it tends to leave glue on the sewing needle when you're quilting,so it can make the quilting process a bit more frustrating.
      But other than that, just make sure it adheres nice and flat and it should work very well!
