I'm almost 44 and I'm glad I went through my 20's without already worrying about the aging I will one day experience.
Life throws a lot of curve balls and sickness, loss etc can make you age even more. I say enjoy your 20's. Wear sunscreen everyday and forget about the rest.
    But that's just me.

Im 24, I don’t necessarily worry about aging, but I’m all for encouraging aging gracefully/ taking care of my skin!!
I lost my mom as a teen so I’m no stranger to life’s curveballs. You can take care of your skin and also not worry so much about it that you lose enjoyment while you’re young!

Based on her previous videos she would likely suggest using a vitamin c, a retinol, sunscreen, antioxidant, potentially an AHA like glycolic acid at low %, cleanser and moisturizer in your routine. An antioxidant that I love is survival 0 by NIOD. Vitamin c + moisturizer + sunscreen for AM, AHA+antioxidant or retinol at night with moisturizer (look up sandwich method when starting with retinols and only use 1-2x a week until your skin is used to it) for PM.

Since I started TTC (trying to conceive) at 31 years old I've always avoided retinol. Even during the time I was breastfeeding and during my breaks in TTC because I knew I would start back up shortly. I'm 39 and starting to TTC again. How long should I avoid retinol? I find out quickly as pregnancy is confirmed at 2 weeks fetal age/ 4 weeks gestational age. But is it OK to use during the follicle stage and stop after ovulation or just entirely avoid it during any stage of TTC & breastfeeding?

Hey Dr. I have a question. Some ppl say Retinols/Retinoids/ Tretinoin can cause scarring and slow down skin healing , also the top layer of your skin gets thinned? Can you possibly really get scarring from Retinoids? I sometimes think some mild scars appear more noticeable (if I look closeley) because the skin is dry, is it possible that its just the drying effect that might make some scars "appear" more visible or can Retinoids actually cause irreversible skin damage?

Trentinoin works very well. I'm in "midish" 30's and use it for cystic acne, but it also helps increase collagen. Sadly I didn't find out about it until last year. 😭😭 Now I see my derm and it's prescribed.

I started thinking let me try this retinol so that I don't start aging.I started retinol then it started aging me.I started breaking out and my skin started looking old.I don't have faith in retinol to me it's over rated for anti aging it might be good for acne but for anti aging no way.I shouldnt had stayed on it for a year thinking maybe its me. I know u doctor's say retinol is the holy Grail.I have had first hand experience it's 😢 not for anti aging.
