If I remember correctly, mine did have SOME power when they came in. I plugged them in for maybe 30 mins? Hope this helps!

I did not the edges coming up a bit and went back over with super glue!
How do you keep them clean and wash them if they have electronics and a battery inside?
I wouldn't recommend washing them or submerging them but hot soapy water or any shoe cleaner will do the trick!
