What I love is McAvoy actually memorized his lines. He's one of the guests that DOESN'T overtly and obviously stare off screen at the cue cards

I mean, ok so I turned Susan into a mermaid once, and there was that time I had Lucy go to a boarding school that was in Narnia where she got targeted by witch hunters, or the time I had Tumnus and Eustace and Edmund working for the white witch undercover, but even MY pairings and plots weren't THIS screwy.

I was only 5 when the Narnia movie came out and honestly I loved Tumnus because I thought he was so sweet and pure and also I've been obsessed with Greek mythology forever so the fact that he's a fawn (actually a satyr but whatever) was so cool to me

Cecily Strong's run-on admission @2:49 was a brilliant high wire act in comic fluidity -- she channels Phil Hartman at times as SNL's revolving "character actor"; whereas Kate's strengths shine in the signature, more fleshed-out characters.
