c. Perfection is the enemy of fluency.
2. Make English a necessity

She is a teacher that i've ever seen
Crystal clear Is the way they say It.
Thanks for your useful tips! And I was really blown away when I learnt your last tip: "Listen to many accents". I never thought about this but when I looked back, this seemed to be the reason I failed in my IELTS exam.
I've to confess that i understood a speech literally first time. I am a Turk and i was good at speaking or writing and reading but wasn't at listening and i just improved my listening skills thanks to you. And exactly the first tip is more helper to enhance my listenin' skills. Thank you so much for this video and your sincerity. I will watch your all videos as possible as i can. I hope that could write correct. You are a perfect teacher 🖤
"Perfection is the enemy of fluency" is so true. Thank you so much
I loved #4 "listen to many accents" tip because it's very important to advise people that English is not only British or American. There are other people around the world speaking English, so the variety of accents is HUGE!
Thank you for your videos. They are great!
I've listened a lot of english teachers in RUclips, and this madame is fantastic, the best teacher. She has the feel, the "touch" that every one is looking for learning english. Thanks. Greetings from Mexico. (Espero que sigas aprendiendo mucho español. Felicidades).
I also appreciate this one : "stay present". It will be very nice to apply it while speaking as much it requires many efforts from the speaker.
Four tips:
#1 Stay present
- don't translate every word the other person says in your head.
- don't try to make your response to what they're saying while they are still speaking.
- perfection is the enemy of fluency.
#2 Make learning English a necessity
- make a friend who only speaks English.
- try to use English to solve daily problems.
#3 Movies, TV Shows, Audio
#4 Listen to many accents
good summary,i will mark down
Great...

Do you have a friend just speak English with him?☺️
Thank you
Hi there Teela, I just wanted to thank you a lot about the way you teach and speak the English language, I have already learned tons over your amazing videos posted here. I will pretty sure try the tip you shared about watching series and movies with and without subtitles through Netflix. I hope I would be able to improve my listening skill in this way, it might be both fun and helpful. Blessings to you and your crew, Teela.
Teela speaks very clearly, I really enjoy listening to everything she says. I wish I had a teacher like her when I was in high school.
"Stay present", It is the best tip I've ever heard.
Listening with subtitles is my first step to become fast learner. Especially in listening and Reading. Thanks a lot for your help teacher Teela. 😊
Thank you for the class. Listening has been my hardest part to learn.
I will use the first tip you gave.
I try to listen the words and forget the persons: the gestures, the tone. It is a good point.
I really love nothing more than listening to her accent and explanation is just awesome !
All tips are really helpful for me to improve my English listening! I sometimes feel disappointed when I cannot understand what someone are talking about, sometimes I do not stay present, sometimes I am really not comfortable with an unfamiliar accent. I sometimes feel frustrated about it. I will try to use your tips from now on and hope that I can be a good listener!
Thank you very much .you’re great. I think your tips are very helpful, and in my opinion the first tip I’ve to use is “stay present “.
After watching this video I've decided that I will listen english speeches in different accents. Really you teach DEEP ENGLISH .
Thank you very much, dear Teela! Your advice has slightly reduced my confusion. I have been studying English for many years. I understand everything you say (or 90-95 percent), but I need English subtitles for confidence, otherwise I feel like a person without support. At the second listening, I set the speed to 0.75, so that I could also mirror repeat after you. The fact is that I read: working on pronunciation improves listening comprehension. I am a Russian speaker, and the problem of most Russian speakers is that they hardly speak English. Stupor in speaking. I don't know why, but it is. I have reached the Intermediate level in learning English, and I am stuck on it. I started learning German from stress, and I really like it. Only now I was able to return to English. Thank you again.
Did you finish German language I also was gonna learn German language is it easy to learn 🤔
I'm so proud to found your #1 tip by myself (by force myself to watch news TV channels) And it looks like the tip #2 did actually bring me to your video. Thanks that RUclips and YOU exist. I still learn so much and being more grateful at the same time. Love how you speak from the 2nd language learner's view which means you speak listener's mind 🤘🏼😊
thank you Teela.
frankly I am interesting to follow your video lessons. your advices are valuable.
Nowadays, RUclips is the best way to practice a listening skill. There are many videos on any subjects.

This video definitely will help me a lot in my upcoming study, because I am studying in FL now but basically I don't have many opportunities to practice my oral English and not mentioned to listening skills. But now I got these tips and I will see more video in your channel!! Thanks!!!
Thanks for the tips. It's a good saying "Instead, we're just kind of trying to flow with it."
Yes, you're a teacher and you speak clear and slow so I can understand you a little bit more, while different people on RUclips speak anyway with half words, etc... Crazy!!

I just listen conversarions and videos on youtube, trying to catch each word, It doesn't matter if I don't undestand all about they are talking, but every day I undertand more words. In a week It has helped me a lot.
I love your instruction so much. The tip that I like most is, Don't try to be a perfect listener and make yourself relaxed. I will use this trip prior.
Hi, Teela, your advice to stay present and to listen to many accents is so useful. Thank you. :)

Perfect! I loved the tips. I always formulate the answer when guys keep talking. Don't phrase the sentence while the person is talking is my favorite tip. Thanks for all!
Hi Teela...
I think the tip number #2 is the most important. Because when you have a necessity to use english, don't stop at the first obstacle or first difficulty, you need to keep moving until reach your goal.
This's my thinking !
Best ...
When I understood that I don't have to understand all the words I improve my listening. before i was sad and disappointed, but now I am very proud and glad. Thanks

Yes. When I started to look for something in RUclips in my foreign language to make doors, Windows, parts of house and how to work parts of the cars, it was very easy and helpful for me. I felt that I was increasing two skills in the same time. It's very recommended.
The tips I use first that is “ the perfect is enemy of fluency”. Because in my mind, I always want my self to speak perfectly to make all people to understand. I scared I use wrong grammar, so now I ‘ve just known when I speak the important is fluency and comfortable, use the British tune, and gesture and facial expression. Tks for guiding me a benefit lesson

Stay present and listen different accents are very nice tips. I'm Argentinean living in Australia and the accent can sometimes be a difficulty. Thanks for this video
Read the book and listen audiobook later... I think it is the best tip.
True and right way
If you do it you'll take 2 things reading skills And Listening skills
Good luck
Wow...your channel is very good.It helps me alot
Teela, as per your question of what I consider your most powerful recommendation from my standpoint, I could say that your first tip: be present. Concentration is in the "era of scarcity". In empathic communication, the rule 7 38 55 (Albert Mehrabian), where in the message 7% is the content, 38% tone and voice, and 55% body language requires a deep listening. Thanks for sharing.
#2: Make learning English a necessity. Thank you so much for your sharing.
You say very well or your voice is very easy to hear, thank you for sharing useful things ♥️
Can we talk?
Thank you for your generous video on listening
Thanks a lot for sharing those amazing tips with us,but i feel if you would please prepare a transcript of that or at least a flow chart or points of tips for summary at the end of vedio that will really awesome.
I am constantly listening and taking very important lesson ....Thanks
Thanks very much for your help and bright tips! I’m understanding you and it’s very cool 🤓
I love your channel and i subscribe because of your english subtitle, and i click the bell as well
Your suggestions resonated with me, especially the one "perfection is the enemy of fluency".
you speak clearly, so easy to listen. I remember that when I went to Austraila, I was so afraid that I couldn't hear because of their accents.
Perfection is the enemy of fluency. It truly resonates with me 😁. Thnx honey☺️. I couldn’t think of any word other than honey 😂.
Your English is simple and easy to understand, thank you very much
