Crucially, the filter needs to be rotated to get the polarising effect. I didn't see any mention of that in your video.

The difference is so slight, the adjustments can be done fairly quickly in post.

seems like you wasn't using the filter properly... except for the last shot with the shore line. in the beginning I see reflections all over the place, windows, water... need to spin the filer to the right point to eliminate it.

The CPL in some of the shots creates banding in the blue skies and that's a major bummer. Great video. I liked it.

At 7:20 the footage is noticeably less sharp and blurier with the filter if you look at the ship’s name, windows, its chimneys, big green tree in the background and rocks on the foreground. Would have been nice to see a comparison with DJI ND filter and Freewell’s ND/CPL filter. Also more diverse and different kind of environments (like against the sun, forests or other green areas). Your comparison videos are otherwise the best.

thank you! that would be a good test and would be a good future video idea!

      Because their filters are garbage.

If you are going to attempt to try and compare two shots, make sure at least the lighting is the same. It's clouded over in the non-polarized clip and the sun is gone, with a grey sky, and the other shot has direct sun and blue sky. This does not help at all

When you use the filter in the first part of the video there is almost no cloud's. This could cause the colour change a bit. But good vid 👍

I honestly prefer NDs always, usually a 16, sometimes lately I've been trying my 32,, great video

thank you Eddy!! i'm glad you told me that!! that's what I get for copy and pasting the title from my Air2S video. when i was uploading it to youtube i couldn't think of a title so I took it from my old video.

@@AerialMotionPhotography it was a great video. I know you are a perfectionist and would want that correct. Thanks for sharing

I think it is a totally unnecessary filter, unless you're shooting over shallow clear waters and you want to show the detail below the water surface!
Besides that, I guess if you're shooting a curved glass building and you want to cut the glare!
