Happy Flying 😎
Thanks for the detailed comparison. The explanation was spot on about the why's! About your settings ......
I saw a video, friend, here I am from Brazil, you tested the CPL filter, I think it gives a beautiful color image, I think it is more precise and assertive on my drone here, but as I said, I use it when I travel, I am a layman on the subject. 😮
Nice to see you again.
Best regards.
Thank you for the breakdowns and letting us know what settings you use. Another great video
Thank you for sharing with detailed information
Excellent demonstration, sad to see that the 166mm sensor is still a little dark even with the f/3.4 aperture.
I hope to see this sensor with an aperture close to f/2.8 in a future Mavic 4, the medium tele sensor could also improve with an optical zoom between 50-85mm (2-3.5x), this would allow for new shooting possibilities and improve the quality of the drone's zoom range .
thank you for the video... how's the image quality with these filters... sharpen, colour cast...
Excellent Tutorial Review Video. Thank You Xavier.
@droneXfactor Can you tell me more about rotating the ND/PL filters and what that does?
Nice review dude 👍🏻☝🏻
Awesome vid. Didn't even know you had the mavic 3 pro been waiting to see if you would purchase it to hear your thought on it. If you do decide to do a review can you touch on the I think it's C2 or class 2 license or permit you need to fly it. Because it's over 900g. The few ppl I've heard mention it are in the UK. I'm not sure if it applies in the states
It has no bearing in the US. Our only categories are sub 250 gram, then the next tier is 55 pounds (likely meant for agriculture) Whether you are Part 107 or fly under recreational waiver, as long as you register your drones and are prepared fir Remote ID, C1/C2 is meaningless in the US, as are the A1, A2 and other European standards, classes and categories.
@BlairAir awesome that's good to know. Preciate you educating me on this topic
ND2000 😮
Long time bro happy father day
Um... DJI solved the exposure problem by varying the ND filter intensity across the different focal lengths. In all photography/ videograghy, different lenses have different apertures. The correct path, in this case, would have been to drop your ND filter (probably an ND 16) to match the 3x lens and then raise your aperture on the main sensor to match. The 7x camera aperture has already been widened from the Mavic 3 to bring it closer. It's still about a 1/2 stop different, though. Even Smart Phones have different apertures across their focal lengths. This isn't something that "DJI needs to work on". This is a reality of photography.
Have you link to your propeller? Are they carbon and what are the weight on them?
This video only deals with the circular ND/Polarising filter. When are the other filters used
Hey Xavier. Good to see you. I actually want to get a long exposure ND, since I have rhe DJI ND set from the Fly More. I love that they used a mirror finish on just the 70mm Equivalent 3X camera. Looks Cyborg. I also ordered a Polar Pro VND shipping end of month.
Any idea why Freewell didn't a split set like they did for Mavic 3? If I had to guess I would say cost. 😮
Freewell does also sell split ND filters also in another 4 pack (ND8, 16, 32, 64). They are cheaper than buying the flymore DJI filters.
@@dfwald4657 You are right, Thanks.
Thanks for replying
@Freewell Gear Thsnks! I will surely check them out. The Fly More was expensive, though the included filters were good to have while manufacturers spun up production. I've grabbed the Polar Pro VND, and I'm thrilled Freewell is producing another split set for the Mavic 3 Pro. I have a question. DJI has a mirror finish only on the 3x 70mm equivalent camera. Why might a filter have that reflective finish, what is gained by that reflectivity? I notice the DJI Set has different filter strengths across the 3 cameras, in an effort to balance the differences such as aperture. Unfortunately they don't provide any detail on how many stops light reduction is being applied. Popping over to Freewell site now!
Sir Xavier, Where have you been?
I just want a freewell VND for mavic 3 classic, but can i find one. Nooo, any ideas on a good make. I want nd 2 to nd32 vnd. Thye all say not compatible with mavic 3 classic
