I just picked up a mavic 3 classic ! I live in AZ an noticed that the video is pretty crappy when the sun is out I'm thinking I need an ND filter but Im just learning I actually learned a lot from you about the cam settings

Thanks for the video, new sub here, love the way you explained ND filters and what they do, I am still trying to learn how to use them correctly. I tried to use ND filters on my mini 3 pro on a bright day at the lake but had no idea what I was doing and my footage came out way to dark.
For your video you should use 6 stop ND and for pictures 3 stop ND is just right.

How do you work a ND 2000 filter? Did a test Flight. I was F2.8 and 2" . Not sure what I see. I hoping to see the clouds stretched or smoothed out.
I mostly do stills. I watched your video on the Freewell Day pack and it sounds NDs are good for low flight to create motion blur. Up high don't need them.
Um I'm pretty sure you can put focus on the zoom wheel... I think you can hold C1 or C2 to make that happen. Video idea, you could make a video about the "combination button" features on the RC Pro. Not to mention all the customization you can do with the buttons. Wait, unless you pre filmed this and you got rid of the Mavic 3 Classic... Oh wait, maybe you got the Refurbished Mavic 3? I can't remember what you were doing. Hahaha! Anyway, if you have one of these drones, you can customize the buttons on the RC Pro to do different things with the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 Classic. Like Waypoints for example.
Hi I would like to know when I changing filters if dust get in side the camera how would clean it? And I would like to try new uv lens’s which one would recommend?
I don't have a Mavic, but if I understand how the filter system works, I'd suggest keeping some kind of canned air cleaner handy during filter changes.

Freewell For sure makes these same filters for the regular Mavic 3, but because the Classic only has the one camera, the two filter lines are NOT interchangeable. I just purchased the same ones he's showing, and I had to specify Mavic 3 Classic.

I had filters from freewell on a mavic 2 and returned them. Color shift is so huge. I do not recommend.
A drone with variable aperture need NDs? Why? You’re not trying to bokeh, why not jus change the F stop and keep the 180 rule.
You're not able to meet the 180 rule on bright days. The aperture is not able to get dark enough. However, if you were able to accomplish that darker image, you may get a much softer image.
Once you go past somewhere around f6, your image will start to degrade 😭
