Had a battery replacement on a 2013 mondeo , the number sequence didnt display the serial number but one number displayed 'unknown' guess thats where the serial number should have been displayed, guess i'll will get the removal keys and hopefully can see it on the radio itself

LOCK10 or 13.
Lock 10 comes up when the wrong code has been entered 10 times, Lock 13 comes up when the wrong code has been entered 13 times.
It's an extra anti theft / security thing.
If lock 13 is on, the only way out is through a garage with electronic means of removing the Lock.
Lock 10 can be overcome by holding in 6 whilst switching the radio ON

Hey, can anyone help with an issue I have with my Ford 6000 CD radio. The buttons stopped working and I could only power it on and off. I could only get one station. The one that was on when I started it. Volume also worked. Nothing else. I removed the battery cable to see if that would reset it but it didn't help. Now it is asking for the code which I can't enter since the buttons don't seem to work. I have tried pressing the 6 button for more than 30 seconds. The 1 and 6 button at the same time etc etc. Have tried most. Nothing. Anyone else had the same problem?
