Great video. Good news, the site has been updated and the only thing you need is the radio serial number. The code is instantly provided with only that number. Yay!

Yes sir I like this video. I watched videos previously trying to get that code number and they never said anything about going to the Honda website that you gave us. It showed me how to push the one and the six simultaneously and then turn the radio on, and from there I got an eighth digit number I thought was the code. I kept trying to enter that 8 digit number with the radio numbers but the radio buttons had no zero, no eight, and no nine. So I was stuck there, and didn't know what to do. You made it so much clearer. I need to get the computer and go to that website. Thank you so much. To God be the Glory‼️

Thank you for this video. I called the dealership, and they told me I had to bring my Honda in to unlock the code. Your instructions worked perfectly in only minutes. I did enter the code a few times to get it right. I got an ERROR 9 reading, and then entered the code, which finally worked for those who may have trouble.

Thank you, I was able to fix my radio easily. Very helpful! Oh one minor thing for anyone reading, the website sat on "gathering data" the first couple times i entered my info. I made an account and added my car to it, then reentered the radio code info and they were pulled up instantly.

For me, i Had the code on the sticker, but couldn't get past the word CODE on the radio part until i completed the 1st part of your video with the simultaneous 1 6 then pushed radio button...it gave me a couple of codes, then displayed the word CODE, waited until it asked for the code, put in my code...and voila!! It worked!! Fav stations now programmed and clock reset. Thank God i ran across your vid! I'm a new subscriber now! Thanks for this video after carefully following your instructions and subsequently contacting the dealership I decided the most appropriate course of action would be removing the four bolts that held the radio in place and then throwing the piece of shit off a bridge and replacing it with a nicer unit from Amazon.

i found my code for my radio for my honda pilot it was in my glove box i put the numbers i found and it worked in other videos there were 2 numbers in the glove box mine just had the 1 i needed to get the radio to work ,its working now thanks

@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair No, he means at 0:52 you can actually see the sticker that has the radio code on it. It’s not literally inside the glove compartment, it’s outside the compartment structure on the exterior portion of the glove box facing the driver. On older Hondas from the 2000s, it used to be on the inside portion, inside the box facing away from the driver towards the passenger side window.

When you opened your glove box there is a white sticker on the drivers side of the glovebox. That code should be on that sticker. It is on teh outside of the glovebox.
